Who says you can't find love through a simple case of stalking?
I have one goal, and that is to save my mom by any means necessary.
As a doctor, I know the severity of her cancer diagnosis. While a promising treatment is available, there’s a problem. It costs a lot of money. Money I don’t have.
While my deadbeat dad was never good for anything in my life, there is something I need from him--money. And I will do anything to get it.
Luckily, I found someoneto help me. Even if he doesn’t know it yet.
Tyler Matthews was hired to protect my dad. The plan was just to get close enough to get what I needed. But I found something I wasn’t looking for.
Love.
Only one question remains…will I be able to keep the two people I love most when the truth comes out?

Sara Evou loves love more than anything. After years of being unable to express her creativity in her job as an accountant, she decided to channel her love of romance into her own stories. She’s lived everywhere from Reno to Colorado to DC, but currently calls Nashville home. When she isn’t reading, writing, or thinking about writing, she enjoys traveling, pole dancing, baking at home, and playing with her sweet pup.

I was super excited for this book. First, we have a woman who is a stalker, and second, she’s older — something I had actually never read before. So of course I was waiting like a little kid to get my hands on it.
However, I couldn’t get into the book. I struggled a bit in the beginning but kept reading. The more I continued, the less I was enjoying the story, and when Tyler called Audrey “mama”… that was it for me. I just can’t stand the use of “mama” or “daddy” in any book — it’s a huge turn-off for me.
The story is genuinely well written and the plot is interesting, but I just couldn’t connect with the characters or the story itself — and I’m sad about that, because from the reviews it seems to be really good.
Although I didn’t enjoy it, I want to thank Love Notes PR and the author for the opportunity to read this book.
This book was such a cute read. It had its steamy moments as well. Audrey comes up with a plan to blackmail her dead bet dad, into giving her money to help pay for her mom’s medical care. In the process of it she meets handsome Tyler. Knowing it’s going to come back and bite her someday, Audrey does her best to keep the process of blackmail and Tyler separate from each other. As the story progresses, Audrey and Tyler began to hang out more and more and everything doesn’t go as planned. These two begin to develop real genuine feelings for each other. I enjoyed seeing Tyler take care of Audrey, especially after meeting her so unexpectedly. I also loved that Audrey was older than Tyler. There’s just something about a young guy knowing what he wants and taking care of his woman, no matter her age. Very cute and heartwarming story.
I received an ARC copy of this book for free and I’m voluntarily leaving my review.
This was my first dive into the Nashville Security series, and now I can’t wait to go back and read the rest after how incredible this installment was.
This story felt like a breath of fresh air. Even while handling heavier topics—cancer and childhood abandonment—it still wrapped me up like a warm, familiar hug. The connection between Tyler and Audrey absolutely soared. I say this often, but authors who craft well-rounded, deeply written characters truly bring their stories to life. I laughed with these two, felt their fear and anxiety, and experienced every shade of love right beside them.
Audrey and Tyler complemented each other beautifully. I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about the age gap (with her being older), but it felt completely natural. Tyler’s maturity and gentle protectiveness, over Audrey, come off innate. And the nickname he gave her? It immediately reminded me of Rio from ‘Good Girls’ in the best way.
Nothing about their relationship felt rushed or forced. From Audrey’s very first glance at Tyler, each step of their story flowed smoothly and effortlessly. Tyler himself was such a giant teddy bear that I caught myself wanting to protect him—something I’ve never experienced before with a MMC. My one tiny gripe was Audrey’s last name. Every time “Dr. Grey” appeared on the page, my brain immediately went to Grey’s Anatomy. I loved that show, but the name association pulled me out of the book every single time. For that reason alone, I couldn’t give a full five stars. But beyond that small hiccup, I highly recommend this book. It grabbed me by the heart and refused to let go. I devoured it in two days, and those are always the stories that stick with me.
This was a such a cute little romance read. It involves the lead characters Audrey and Tyler.
She’s the girl that will do anything to save her dying mother.
He’s the guy that works in security she’s stalking so she can blackmail her deadbeat father.
What will become of this unconventional coincidence.
Tyler works in a security firm his cousin founded. Times had been tough when he grew up with a single parent. Until his mom found Tim (his stepdad) who stood up and signed up for being the father figure Tyler had never imagined.
Audrey is an intelligent talented cardiothoracic surgeon. In the story she has recently found out her mother requires treatment for her cancer and the insurance doesn’t cover it.. to keep her mother alive what hoops must she jump through - Her only way is to use the guy she’s crushing on to get closer to her deadbeat dad and blackmail him for monetary purposes to fund her mother’s treatment.
If you’ve read close protection .. it’s similar to along those vibes but a little bit different
If you like a cute little romance read this might be the one to add to your TBR!
I give this 3.5 stars. This book didn’t connect with me as the rest of the series but I still liked it.
I enjoyed Tyler’s caring nature and need to know Audrey throughout the story and his above and beyond personality for her mom’s bucket list. I also liked Audrey’s drive and tenacity - it was great to see the FMC have a “man’s job” and be the older one in an age gap which is rare.
They both had similar father figure issues so I did like that they could relate to each other with that aspect of the story.
I was cracking up at her “stalking” skills in the beginning because they were comical at her inexperience.
I was hoping Tyler’s story would be different since he was so supportive in the other books, but I didn’t like how Audrey was deceiving him the entire book when he’s such a cinnamon roll MMC and deserved better. He wasn’t even upset when everything came to light and just let it all go.
While this book wasn’t my favorite, this series is still really great!
Thank you Love Notes PR for this ARC for my honest review.
This book was such a cute, feel-good read—with just the right touch of spice. Audrey comes up with a desperate plan to blackmail her deadbeat dad for money to help cover her mom’s medical care. Along the way, she crosses paths with the handsome, unexpectedly sweet Tyler. She knows the blackmail is bound to blow up in her face eventually, so she tries to keep that mess far away from him. But the more time they spend together, the harder that becomes. Their connection grows naturally, turning into real, heartfelt feelings neither of them planned for. Watching Tyler look out for Audrey, especially after meeting her in such a chaotic moment, was so endearing. And I absolutely loved the age-gap dynamic—there’s something irresistible about a younger guy who knows exactly what (and who) he wants, and treats his woman right. A warm, charming story with just enough drama to keep you hooked.
ARC REVIEW!! Sara absolutely outdid herself with this book. Tyler and Audrey are perfect for each other. I think they complimented each other’s personalities so well. Audrey is always such a caretaker, it was so amazing reading about Tyler starting to be someone she could lean on. I admire how Audrey was so determined to help her mom, no matter the cost. Tyler is such a protective yet loving mmc, he loves audrey so loud throughout the book. i thought it was so fun getting little cameos from the other couples throughout this book as well and read about how they viewed Audrey and Tyler’s relationship. i cannot get over how exciting this book is and couldn’t put it down! I finished it in one day. I am already so excited for the next book!
This is a Romantic Suspense, and this is the fourth book in the Nashville Security series. I have not read the first three books in this series before picking up this book. I loved parts of this book, but there were parts of this book I did not love at all. In fact parts of this book drove me totally crazy, and there were also parts that were unbelievable. I really hate when books have a character in a hospital and something that costs a lot of money can only save their life. This book does that, and that drove me totally cost. Overall, There was a good amount of romance and suspense. By the end I really loved the two main characters and wanted the best for them. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.
This book was a fast-paced, fun read. I really loved the "reversal" of the typical standard age-gap/stalker trope. Though it was very insta-lovey I still thought the build-up and development of Audrey and Tyler's relationship was adorable. Their story is easy to read with a plot that had me turning pages.

This is the first book I've read in this series of standalones, this being the Nashville Security series book 4, and now I want to go back and read the previous books.
Thank you Love Notes PR and Sara Evou for the opportunity to read this book.
I LOVED this book! Audrey & Tyler and their story kept me on the edge of my seat from page one till the very end. I love how much he adored her from the very beginning. I sobbed every time Audrey worried about her mom, and resonated with how desperate she was to save her, no matter the cost. I loved the friend group, the family, and as a Middle TN girl myself, I loved the Nashville setting! 🫶🫶 A suspensful, fast paced read with some amazing romance and one of the best plots I've read in a good while! And that nickname? MY FAV.
Thank you Sara Evou and Love Notes PR for the ARC copy of this book. 💓
Audrey is stuck in a hard spot as she desperately needs to find a way to help her mom with her treatments, while realising that she has fallen for the person whom she has lied to right from the start.
Despite the way in which their relationship started, I never doubted that what Tyler and Audrey shared was real. It was also refreshing to see an older woman younger man pairing although the nicknames felt a little weird to me.
I loved the eventual resolution to Audrey’s dilemma and the found family vibes were amazing here.
Talk about being in the worst position ever. Falling in love with someone while using them to help save the person you love above all else.
I truly enjoyed Tyler and Audrey. I love how much he really cared for her and how he worshiped her. The story to get back at Audrey's father was interesting but I do wish Tyler finding out about how he was used in this scheme was resolved too quickly. While I know he loved her, despite it all, I feel like there should have still been some more talking it out with Jack or Audrey before they got back together.
Tyler and Audrey are perfect for each other. This kept me on the edge of my seat.
Audrey is desperate to come up with a solution to help her mom that she’s blind to have naive her plan is but she has to try it. Throughout the story you can see her conflict and how she doesn’t do it lightly even tho she never expected to fall in love. Their romance unfolds fast buts it’s believable. Tyler is your protective MMC. He loves Audrey so loud throughout the book
Thank you, Love Notes PR and Sara Evou, for allowing me the chance to receive the ARC to Love for Her.
I really wanted to like this book. I love a good stalking story (ahem Lights Out). But this one fell a flat for me. The book was equally too long and too short. It felt like some things weren't necessary and nothing happened until about 50 pages left. The last 85% of the book. Then everything happens and it just felt super rushed. All resolved and tied with a little bow.
I did enjoy the older, curvy FMC and the golden retriever MMC.
This book completely hooked me. I loved how intense and personal the story felt—trying to save a loved one while navigating impossible choices made the stakes feel real and emotional.
The romance between the main characters is slow-burning and heartfelt, and I couldn’t help rooting for them even as the tension kept building. The mix of desperation, love, and moral dilemmas made it impossible to put down.
By the end, I was completely invested in their journey. It’s a gripping, emotional, and surprisingly tender story that stayed with me long after I finished.
We finalyyyy got to Tyler! Such a journey this one has been, right from Jack, Nate, Ian, and now the youngest. Honestly, I don’t believe I’ve really been around for the whole series. More than that, I’m surprised I even remember I’ve been around for the whole series. But that might be because of the (not so) teeny tiny part of me that has been waiting for the end of the series with all the mystery surrounding Chris and kind of law he practices. Not. 😉
Let me say first and foremost, wow! I have never read this author, so this is my first book. And I will definitely be going back to read all the others. I absolutely loved hire this book was written. The FMC is the one pulling the shaft and illegal s**t to get the miner her mom needs for her cancer treatments. And the MMC, hello hotness! This book pulled me in AB’s I had to read the entire thing in one sitting. Absolutely loved this!
TYLER IS THE CUTEST!!!!! 🥰😍 Ever since Protected By Him, I just knew he was going to be my favorite.
I like how despite the age difference, he is also very mature for his age and how being with Audrey, you couldn't even notice the age difference. They were both mature and made each other feel like they were teenagers again 🥰
This is a good romance book. In this book the roles are reversed, the FMC is the one lying and scheming, and being vague to get the help she needs for her mother’s treatments….The reverse age gap is the FMC is older than the MMC. The plot is good, the characters are great, funny, and the romance is spot on for this one..
Great book! I love Tyler & Audrey so much!!! I love the closeness of all of the couples. Jack/Gisella, Nate/Olive, Ian/Maggie, Tyler/Audrey, Becky/Tim. I love this whole series!!! If you haven’t read the first 3 books, you should! Highly recommend!!
I absolutely love Tyler and Audrey’s story. I shed some tears on certain parts but I love how it ended. I can’t wait to read the first three books that I downloaded to my kindle after reading this one. Get ready for some tears, laughs, shock and the best HEA!
Such a great romance! I love how Tyler loved. He is the perfect MMC. My heart was with Audrey. I was hoping with all my heart that she got what she needed to save her mother and got to keep the boy too! I have to go back and read the other 3 books now!!!
This may have been my first read in this series but it definitely won’t be me last. This book is the perfect balance between mystery and romance! Plus the spice was definitely spicy. I loved Audrey and Tyler’s relationship. I can’t wait to go back and read the rest of the series.
An addictive, intense romance! Audrey and Tyler have electric chemistry, and the story keeps you hooked with its mix of tension, emotion, and high stakes. A great read full of passion and drama.
