This story is about Kira an outcast wolf shifter and Joshua an alpha wolf. It was an emotional rejected mate story who reconnect years later by an arraigned marriage set up by the pack to read in this book that starts this series. It was an engaging story with lots of emotions and romance. Our characters were likable and relatable. Kira's older sister left the island, now she's alone. Joshua returns to the pack after building a successful tech business for the pack. Long ago they had a night of passion, morning after Kira dreams of her life with her mate Joshua, but he rejects her. What occurs afterward is an enjoyable copy I'd received and volunteer to read and review.
