An Omnipotent Madman, A Delinquent with Peculiar Eyes. Bet on the Kid …
Savvy street punk and part-time saboteur, Johari Hightower, survived the terrifying rite of the House. Then the deadly City. But New Earth’s shadow world is a whole other beast. It doesn’t help that he’s shut away in a billionaire’s secret military compound. That New Earth cops are searching for him. That his eyes are changing in unfathomable ways … But where the love of his life goes, he’ll go. Even to that other world where the unthinkable happens.
His future, her future, the future of New Earth rides on him. But first he needs to cross the river of shadows. Where no one returns …
Adler wouldn’t do—I needed the right handle to go where I was going. Silverberry unlocked the magic door. Now I quest through the limitless realms of the imagination, here, official scribe to bold knights and treacherous kings, there, intrepid recorder of the future and the far reaches of space. Wherever I land, I promise to hold nothing back.
A good continuation and well written with consistant characters. The group are drawn back into the house, with several missions to accomplish and failure will mean the end of the world as they know it. Plenty of action throughout and an ending worthy of the Shadow World. Excelllent and highly recommended, I received an ARC and my review is honest and voluntary.
