This was a fun mystery. It takes place shortly after the previous book ends. There is murder, theft of multiple kinds, and jealousy. It has some interesting twists. I liked the way it ended. I thought it might go a different way though.

Murder, Relics & Rivalries, the fourth Hattie and Moose Cozy Mystery is the best of the series so far. In fact, this is a series that has just kept getting better and better. By Greta Sinclair I was invested in this story from the beginning of the first visit to the Christ Church Cathedral. This story held my interest, having no idea which of the suspects was guilty until an even bigger crime was discovered. Righting the wrongs of the past is a plot that I can totally get behind which this well-developed story did.

The animals are always interesting too, but I do agree with Grace that Hattie uses them as a buffer at times. I was thrilled to see a couple of relationships continue to develop, especially the concluding events attended at the end of the book. Murder, Relics & Rivalries is a not-to-be-missed book.

Murder, Relics & Rivalries is the fourth installment and a fantastic addition to the A Hattie and Moose Cozy Mystery series by Greta Sinclair. As usual, I was quickly immersed in another enthralling mystery featuring Hattie, Gracie, Bo, and Hattie's charming fur babies, Moose, Mini Pearl, and Cecil.

When an 18th-century Baroque flute vanishes from Christ Church Cathedral just before Nashville’s Sacred Music Festival, Hattie is brought on board to uncover the flute's whereabouts. Her quest leaves her with numerous lingering questions and an extensive list of potential culprits.

The flute holds significant value, approximately $200,000, to be precise. This missing instrument was expected to be the highlight of the festival, and its absence could jeopardize the entire event, not to mention tarnish the churches' reputation if it isn’t located soon.

Murder, Relics & Rivalries was a highly captivating and enchanting tale that kept me enthralled from start to finish with its myriad of twists and turns. Additionally, the mystery and suspense had me guessing and eagerly flipping pages throughout.

I wholeheartedly recommend this remarkable continuation of the Hattie and Moose Cozy Mystery series. Be sure to pick up a copy of Murder, Relics & Rivalries today!

This is the fourth book in the Hattie and Moose Cozy Mystery series, and I have read everyone of them and have enjoy they all. The author does take the time to research all her subject before she starts to write, and you can tell that she knows what she is talking about.
Hattie & her best friend with Detective Bo Beckett plus all her pets help her solve the issue regarding the 18th century Wunderlich Baroque flute that vanished from the Christ Church Cathedral on the eve of Nashville’s Scared Music Festival. The author has Hattie more rounded out because has her beginning able to play music instruments as well as being able to solve mysteries. There are lots of twist and turns with so many suspects, but I was not even thinking about the right person until the very end. Everyone seem to have reasons to take the flute as it was worth so much money. I would recommend this book as well as this series as a very good mystery with out all the ugly scene which come with most mystery thriller. So everyone please enjoy this series and what this author writes about.

Music Row isn’t just populated with country music — oh, no! This autumn sees Hattie tasked by the music director of the cathedral in finding a Baroque flute. This assignment is certainly a level up from Hattie’s bread and butter PI work: for a start, the cultural significance of such an instrument has high stakes.
Gracie, Hattie’s best friend, plays a more active role in this, partly because her assistant is taking a holiday — and thereby hangs a tale…

Hattie’s canine and feline companions join her in trying to get to the bottom of the apparent theft of the flute. Its story is somewhat buried in WWII legends, where the paperwork leads. Bo, of course, takes a proactive interest in the case… and Hattie.

There’s an array of likely suspects — and some unlikely ones.

As a music lover, I took particular interest in the final chapter: those I know well and those I’ve yet to seek out… and I will be doing just that.

Another good read in this brilliant series.

Hattie Lieper, new PI on Music Row in Nashville, Tennessee, is awakened early one Tuesday morning by a call from her best friend, podcaster Gracie Biscuit, a retired DVM.
Apparently, the Wunderlich Baroque Flute, kept at the Christ Church Cathedral, has been stolen on the eve of the Sacred Music Festival where it was to be a featured attraction. And Gracie has referred Hattie to recover the priceless item!
Hattie, her canine companions Moose and Mini-Pearl, along with her feline companion, Cecil, have their work cut out for them with multiple suspects, church politics and secrets kept since WWII. And Detective Bo Beckett is around to keep a discreet eye on Hattie.
This is another unputdownable musical mystery from Greta Sinclair! You really must read this book! The plot twists were plenty and the conclusion?! You just HAVE to read it! I can't wait for the next one!

Once again, Hattie is on the case!

This time, it involves the theft of a very famous flute, one that was stolen back in WWII. These stories really are the best! I love how Hattie always includes her “fur babies” in her cases. Greta Sinclair’s writing style just pulls me into all of her stories and keeps me reading until the very last word, when I realize I’m sad it’s over and I have to wait to read her next release. The plots are always full of twists and turns, however, between her and Bo, they always manage to figure out the mystery. And yes, there is a bit of romance in this one, and not just with Hattie and Bo, but also with her bestie Grace and her assistant. A very satisfying read and the ending is always touching as well.

This book is the fourth in a series, but I read it without having read the previous books. Hattie is a PI who is called in to investigate when a valuable Wunderlich Flute is stolen. Throughout the story, it is discovered that the flute was stolen during World War II and that the family from whom it was stolen is seeking its return.
Hattie, her friend Gracie, her "more than just friends" friend Detective Bo Beckett, and her trio of helpful pets follow the clues, interrogate the suspects, and finally track down the culprit.
The topic of stolen and looted art and musical instruments is well handled. It can be a sensitive topic, and it is addressed with care.
I really enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more from Greta Sinclair.

This is the fourth book in the Hattie and Moose Cozy Mystery series and it is a great addition to the series. When an 18th century flute disappears from the Christ Church Cathedral just before Nashville’s Sacred Music Festival, Hattie is called in to find the flute before it disappears forever. So, with her friend, Gracie and the wonderful clue finding dogs, Moose and Cecil and the cat, Mini Pearl and of course, her boyfriend, Detective Bo Becket, Hattie has her hands full trying to solve the case with so many potential suspects who have something to gain. This is a fast moving read that keeps you guessing until the end! Not only do I recommend this book, but I highly recommend the entire series. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

Music City Mystery
Hattie Leiper is called in to investigate the theft of a priceless flute from a local church. It was to be played by a celebrated musician who has a tarnished reputation as part of the annual music festival. As she looks into the disappearance with assistance from her bestie Gracie, her fur baby posse of dogs and cat and detective Bo Beckett, who is becoming more than just a friend, she finds intrigue going back to treasures looted during the second World War. Many suspects and plenty of suspicious behavior make this a tricky case to solve. A fine addition to this series, possibly the best yet, make this a solid entertaining read.

I received an ARC of this book for an honest review. Hettie and Bo with the assistance of her furbabies, Moose, Mini Pearl and Cecil investigate the theft of a rare flute. The Wunderlich flute was stolen during WW 2. and has now been stolen from the Cathedral where it was being kept. There are multiple people who could have stolen it. Hettie with the help of her friend Gracie, Bo and the furbabies navigates through all the suspects and discovers that there is a blackmarket in stolen items from the war. A fascinating read which is well reseached. Highly recommend with adorable fur characters, as well the interactions of the people involved.

When an 18th Century Baroque flute is stolen from Christ Church Cathedral, PI Hattie Leiper is asked to investigate. The missing flute, valued at $200,000 was set to be shown and played at the festival’s grande finale but with it missing, the festival may have to be cancelled. There are so many possible suspects including cathedral staff and Hattie, along with her faithful Chow Chow, Moose are soon investigating and will discover more than they ever imagined. This is a wonderful series with well-defined characters and a mystery that kept me guessing. This is my honest and voluntary review of an advanced copy of this book.

This is the fourth book in The Hattie and Moose Cozy Mystery series. I liked the title, it was catchy. But oh that cover with the adorable doggies!
Hattie, Gracie and the doggies, Mini and Moose, hunt down an eighteen century Baroque flute that's gone missing before a music festival. They get a helping hand from Hattie's slow burning romantic partner, Detective Bo. Gracie and Tim get together, finally, fingers crossed for them.
The story has lots of twists and false turns. Lots of humor and a little bit of snark. It was a quick read. I can't wait for book five.

Harrie and Moose are at it again! When a valuable antique flute disappears from a church, Hattie is called to investigate. Along with Detective Bo and her animal sidekicks, Hattie is determined to not only find the relic, but return it to its rightful owners. I was gifted this book and let me tell you, it is a great addition to this series. Sinclair’s story is fast-paced and has many twists and turns that keeps the reader guessing until the very end. Though this is fictional, she adds some well researched facts to the story, along with a sprinkling of humor and a dash of romance. This is a great book and I recommend it to everyone who enjoys a wholesome mystery.

This is the fourth novel in the series, but the first that I've read. I was able to get into the story easily despite having not read the first three books.

This story deals with the theft of a priceless flute from the local cathedral. Hattie is hired by the cathedral's music director to recover the flute. Through her investigation, she learns the instrument was actually one of many valuables stolen during WWII that was never returned to the original owners. This makes for an enjoyable read.

Greta’s books always begin with a bang. Murder, Relics, & Rivalries is not any different. The case is not revealed in the first sentence but within a couple of pages. This involves a stolen flute—not just any flute—one that may have been stolen during and/or after WWII. This time it was stolen from a cathedral. Now all of the employees, as well as a volunteer or two, are suspects. Follow Hattie, Gracie, Bo, Mini Pearl, Moose, and Cecil as they solve this mystery. I read an ARC copy of MURDER, RELICS, & RIVALRIES.

Another great Music Row story with Hattie Leiper and her band of furry helpers solve another case. This is one with a stolen 18th century flute that was on display at one of the local churches. Due to how it was stolen tells Hattie and Detective Bo that it was an inside job. Hattie interviews the people that work at the church and every one has a reason to steal the flute. With the help of the furry's Lettie finds clues that most people wouldn't have seen. She catches the bad person just in time for their Sacred Music Festival.

This was another great entry in the series! This time, Hattie is investigating a missing flute with a long and occasionally sordid history. I loved all of the historical bits included for not just the flute, but other instruments as well, as well as how many of the suspects were fully tied in with the history. Plus, we get to finally see Hattie and Bo take their relationship fully to the next level! I'm so thrilled!.

In this fourth installment of the series, Nashville private investigator Hattie Leiper is called upon to locate an antique relic flute that’s been stolen from a local church. Hattie, along with her detective boyfriend Bo, takes on the case—often joined by one or more of her clever pets, who always seem to uncover clues in the most unexpected places.

A fun, lighthearted cozy mystery filled with humor, fun and surprises.

This was a deep mystery that grabbed my attention as a single theft escalated into a widespread investigation of stolen iniquities. This was a complex mystery that was entertaining while also giving basic information on war-time thefts and their impact on the families concerned. It was a wonderful story that I really enjoyed!!!!!

When an antique flute goes missing from a cathedral, they call in Hattie to figure out what happened. Along with her furry friends, she will investigate. But is the ghost real? What about all the characters that seem to all have things to hide? This is a great read and the mystery really draws you in. Hattie is such a fun character to read and her antics with the pets are laugh out loud at times.

The musical director of the cathedral is asking Hattie for help to recover the item but it seems that some people connected to the cathedral are more than little interested in the flute and evidence shows that the theft was an inside job. Hattie and Bo running against time finding the priceless flute before it might be sold and lost forever.
