Nish captured the essence of what it means to honor our ancestors and the gifts bestowed upon us by them. Sometimes we don't even know unless we take the time to explore what it means to be part of our lineage. I loved Mama June's role in guiding those who are trying to understand and find answers. I cried often while reading this book. I'd recommemd it to anyone interested in witnessing love, awareness of self, growth, and spiritual exploration.
