Bed & Breakfast Murder: A Pecan Hollow Cozy Mystery

Rate this book
A body. A B&B. A bow-tied detective with a nose for clues.

Ellie Harper thought her B&B’s grand opening would be flawless. Instead, the party ends with a body beneath the magnolia, and her second chance chewed up.

Sheriff Nolan orders her to leave the case alone. But Ellie’s perfectionist instincts won’t step out of the way. Not even when murder comes scratching at her doorstep. Or when she starts withholding evidence to chase the truth herself.

With her loyal friends and her clue-sniffing cockapoo Beau, Ellie digs into the mystery.

Guests hide tangled motives. A jittery guest drops a bloody clue. A quarrelsome florist nips at the victim’s heels, and whispers of deceit howl through town..

The despised victim has grudges and secrets buried all over Pecan Hollow. Each clue tugs Ellie deeper into danger. Someone is on her scent every step of the way.

If she and Beau can’t dig up the truth in time, Ellie risks losing her inn, and going paws up in Pecan Hollow.

Elle Harper was busy with the grand opening of her Bed and Breakfast when a murder takes place to complicate things. Lots of suspense and secrets intrigue this mystery further. A captivating read. I received this ARC copy and recommend this book to other readers.

Ellie is having an opening party for her B&B, but someone ends up dead in her garden! He has a shady past & it seems some of her other guests are a bit “off” as well. Plus someone in the town knows something. So, Ellie, with her dog, Beau do the snooping.

Great story!

This is a great, easy to read cozy mystery that I enjoyed. The dog, Beau, is definitely my favourite character in the book.
