Rate this book
Marco Valentini has a secret that could destroy him.

As the heir to a powerful crime family, he's spent a decade hiding his omega nature behind suppressants and sheer willpower. When his father is assassinated, Marco must claim his birthright as Don—while his ambitious uncle circles like a predator and his family's enemies close in.

The only person who knows the truth? Dominic Russo, his father's loyal consigliere. The alpha Marco has wanted for years. The man who just took a bullet meant for his heart.

Now Marco must navigate conspiracy and succession while his suppressants fail at the worst possible moment. As Dominic helps him through his heat, their professional partnership ignites into something far more dangerous—a bond that could save them both or condemn them forever.

In a world where strength is everything and weakness means death, can an omega Don survive? And can he claim both power and love without losing everything?

A steamy MM mafia omegaverse romance featuring mating bites, knotting, a protective alpha, secret identity, and a Don who refuses to be anything less than he is.

Keeping secrets from the 'Family' can be risky but from your Father, the Don now that's downright dangerous. I enjoyed this story with it's mixture of secrets, hidden romance and violence ( but not too much of that, just to show who's the boss). A good read.
