What happens when multiple sexy men all want me for themselves? I get them to learn to share…

I can’t believe how much has happened since I joined the dragon riders’ academy. My small-town life as a healer is gone, and I’m living in a world of dragons and royalty.

Except, these royals all want the same thing. Me. And I’m not about to choose just one of them, when I’m being pulled to all of them.

Unfortunately, these stubborn boys have never learned to share, but they’re about to. We can’t spend our time fighting amongst ourselves when we have our enemies, the Hollowborn, to deal with. If we can’t agree on a way to handle the Hollowborn, we may just find ourselves in another war.

A war that will lead to death and destruction all across our kingdom.

Our people are counting on us, and we must all stand together, or we’ll fall together instead.

COURT OF LUST is a reverse harem bully romantasy. It is high heat, with a confident, sarcastic heroine and jealous and possessive alpha men.

While reading this one, I actually thought there would be a fourth book in the series. The biggest plot points were getting resolved, but there were still some plot points on the side I would have loved to see addressed. And even though the main points of the story evolve to an ending, I was still left a bit disappointed. This final book was simply too rushed to enjoy it as much as I did the start of this series. I really believe a fourth book might have helped to flesh some things out, give the enemies-to-lovers vibe the time it deserves and create a solid ending that doesn’t come as a shock.

That being said, I definitely liked the first two books in the series. The dynamic between Harper and her dragon was amazing, and I often loved the words he spoke in Harper’s mind. I also still love Harper as a person; she’s a fighter with a heart of gold and a true queen. I just think she deserved more groveling from her men, and they deserved the same from their father. But even though this final book didn’t live up to my expectations, I still enjoyed the series as a whole, and I’m looking forward to see what’s next by this author.

Gosh, such a good series. I couldn't put it down. It's fast paste, full of brooding man candy and dragons. And we have strong FMC who is kick ass and fun.

We totally knew there would be a betrayal at the end, we just didn't know if it would be the king or the elder. I was leaning toward the king.

This book just felt like the author was bored with the story and wanted to finish it ASAP.

The plot was rushed, so badly that after the big final fight where we left on a somewhat cliffhanger, we get a 1 year time jump with no more tying off of loose ends, just a quick HEA scene and that’s it’s.

Not to mention that all the slow burn angst from the first two books was completely ignored. Instead it’s like Harper forgot that these princes were cruel to her, slept with all her men before 30% in the book and moved straight to love and harmony all around.

It was lazy writing at best. I feel cheated. The resolution to the war and the dragon problems were both quickly shoved into a few paragraphs and that was it, HEA for everyone.

What a waste of time.

Ebron has a special place in my heart. “I’ll always save you.”

The way the Hollowborn’s king takes care of Harper is everything. Everyone needs a hunky man who talks so openly about his feelings. Damn you, Gore Rock! Ugh, that traitor! My heart was in my throat. Ending is perfect. I love these men. I’m proud of the princes. Life is good.

I love how it all ended. Although the battle almost stopped my heart. There is plenty of spicy scenes in this reverse harem series. Great amount of action that had me on the edge of the seat not knowing how it would all end.
Good character grow and maturity where the boys finally become men.

Cliffhanger

Feel like she ended this book with such a cliffhanger when she could’ve put an epilogue so we could’ve seen her with her baby and how the guys are as fathers. Would’ve felt a bit more complete. But I enjoyed the book thoroughly. I definitely recommend the trilogy

Terrible title, but my favourite book of the series. Lots of adventure and action and spice. Ends pretty abruptly though. Overall pretty good series.

A Court of Lust closes the series in a way that finally brings Harper’s journey into focus.

After everything she’s been pushed through in the first two books, this installment gives her space to understand who she is, what she wants, and what her place in the courts actually means.

The story doesn’t rush her or gloss over the mess she’s survived — instead, it threads her choices together so you can see the shape of her arc clearly for the first time.

The relationships also settle into something more. The MMCs stop orbiting around the plot and start anchoring to Harper in ways that make sense for where the story has been heading.
I felt the worldbuilding expands just enough to support the final reveals without overwhelming the character work. Everything clicks into place as the series wraps, giving the ending a sense of direction rather than just escalation.

As a whole, I loved the series and book three gives us the moment the series finally knows what it wants to say about Harper: not just who she loves, but who she becomes.

The ending of the second book is what actually made me keep listening to this series, because absolutely nothing happened in that one, sooo… here I am.

King Sevrin is, without a doubt, the best MMC in this book, right after Arthur and Ebron. Seriously, because the princes??? Damn, I could do without them easily.

Getting to know more about Sevrin… damn, he is a REAL MAN. Seriously, I’m in LOVE with him.

“Not exactly. We are, apparently, destined to be together because Ebron chose their dragons as his mates, but that truly doesn’t seem to mean much. We don’t feel like we’re supposed to be together in most ways. I don’t have a clue how they actually feel about me, but I know they feel possessive of me.”
I shake my head. “It takes a certain type of man to think he possesses a woman while offering her nothing in return.”
She cocks her head at me, studying me. “You think so?”
Leaning forward, I kiss her until she pulls back, dragging in a ragged breath. “I know so. You deserve better than them, and I’ll make certain to give you, not just my heart, but the whole world. They’ll hardly be able to compete with me when their offering is nothing but boyish jealousy

SEE??? This is the male lead this series was lacking.

I expected at least a little of this energy from Alaric, but nope. The princes are… disappointing. They act like little boys.

But Sevrin? Damn. He is a king and a man. Absolutely love him.

Gods give me patience, because the princes? Urgh. I absolutely don’t like them. Ok, they have trauma and daddy issues, but so does everyone. Do they think Sevrin isn’t traumatized too?

The man lost his father young, grew up carrying the responsibility of saving his people from a dying land, and still didn’t turn into an insufferable asshole.

Sevrin is gentle, ruthless, and loyal. Everything someone needs in a mate. And better yet? He actually listens to Harper’s opinions. Shocking, I know.

Great. Now Sevrin and Harper have to babysit the princes until they grow enough to deal with their own emotions… oh come on, this is too much 🙄

Yes, I am so annoyed that I used an emoji. Let that sink in.

Oh gods… now things are getting interesting. Everyone is drunk on liquor and dragon lust… I’m feeling an orgy is coming. YESSSSS.

This book was good. Not amazing, not a masterpiece, but good. Easy to listen to, entertaining, and honestly carried hard by Sevrin existing.

✨ A Bittersweet Farewell ✨

Court of Lust is the conclusion we’ve all been waiting for, and for the majority of this book, I absolutely loved it. Saying goodbye to Harper and her men was never going to be easy… but I’ll be honest the ending left me with mixed emotions.

Let me start with what this book does right, because there’s a lot.

I adore Harper. She remains a strong, compelling FMC who has grown immensely throughout the series. And then there’s Sevrin, the Hollowborn king introduced in the previous book. Normally with RH, I try not to pick favorites because I always end up loving everyone but Sevrin was just different. He isn’t the savage monster everyone expects. Instead, he’s gentle, protective, and genuinely wants to love and care for Harper. I couldn’t help but fall for him.

With King Sevrin now fully woven into the story, the princes finally start acting like grown men and openly showing their feelings (about time). Their reactions weren’t surprising, but they were incredibly entertaining especially Lucien, who continues to steal every scene he’s in.

Then come the drinking games… and wow. The extent of the king’s abuse is exposed, and I genuinely had to pause and take a breath. That moment was heartbreaking and heavy, adding a raw emotional layer that truly stuck with me.

That said, this is one of those stories where everything feels too perfect for a while and I knew something bad was coming. And it did.

While the story does wrap up and everything turns out okay in the end, the ending itself felt rushed. I wanted more more room to breathe, more emotional payoff, and more growth, especially from the three princes. After such a strong journey and such a solid series, the conclusion just didn’t linger long enough.

And maybe that’s why I’m a little sad.

This series is now complete, and I’ll truly miss Harper, her men, and Ebron our sarcastic, scene stealing male dragon who never failed to make me laugh.

Despite my feelings about the ending, this was still a strong conclusion to a series I’ve loved. If you’ve been following Harper’s story, Court of Lust is absolutely worth the read just be prepared for a goodbye that feels a little too quick.

📌 Voluntary review. No compensation just one reader who was completely and unexpectedly invested.

A fierce, fiery, and beautifully satisfying finale

Court of Lust by Lacey Carter Anderson completely stole my heart and refused to give it back. This book is everything I wanted from the series finale — emotional, intense, romantic, and deeply healing — with the kind of ending that makes you close the book and just sit there smiling for a while.

What I loved most is how the story goes beyond romance and really dives into unity and growth. Watching two very different cultures — once divided by fear, power, and old wounds — slowly learn to understand each other was so satisfying. The blending of traditions, trust, and leadership felt organic and meaningful, not rushed. Seeing them come together to protect the dragons (and ultimately save them) gave the story this epic, almost cinematic weight. It wasn’t just about love — it was about rebuilding an entire world. And I ate up every second of it.

And Harper? She absolutely shines here.

Her journey across this series has been incredible, but this book really shows her strength — not just as a fighter or leader, but as the emotional center of her little chaotic, overprotective, touch-her-and-die group of men. Watching Harper and her four men learn how to truly function as a family was EVERYTHING. The banter, the jealousy, the soft quiet moments, the fierce loyalty… it all felt so real. They stop feeling like separate love interests and start feeling like one solid unit — a team, a home.

The found-family vibes? Elite.
The emotional intimacy? Top tier.
The “we’d burn the world for you” energy? Absolutely unmatched.

And that ending…

Listen. I’m picky about happily-ever-afters, but this one? Perfect. Earned. Beautiful. After everything they fight through, seeing Harper and her men finally get peace, love, and stability felt like the biggest exhale. No loose ends, no half-hearted wrap-up — just a genuinely satisfying HEA that made all the chaos and heartbreak worth it.

It’s romantic, hopeful, and leaves you feeling warm instead of wrecked (in the best way).

If you love:
✨ reverse harem/why choose
✨ dragons
✨ enemies-to-allies worldbuilding
✨ found family
✨ protective, devoted men
✨ and a hard-won happily ever after

This book will absolutely own you.

A flawless, fiery, heart-full finale. Five stars without hesitation. 💛🔥🐉

This final book put an unexpected finality to the series. I adored how the book went. Ebron and Harper have such a solid relationship, really charting new territory for the princes and showing them how things don’t have to stay the way they have always known. We get to see it alter their interactions with their own dragons later in the book, and prove that Harper and Ebron don’t have to be the odd ones with their interactions. It’s reinforced even more later on with Rosanthra as well. I loved seeing the princes start to view their dragons as more than just tools, along with the peek we get of Nythera and Alarics tentative opening up towards each other.

I felt divided about the relationship between Harper and the Princes. I loved her relationship with Sevrin from the gate. I even would have loved more interactions with Sevrins family. However, after the way the Princes treated her, and the things they did to her, I felt she let them off a bit too easy. They totally would have deserved needing to work a bit harder to earn her affections. Im also I bit disappointed the princes didn’t get to stand up to their father(or Harper, in their defense) and tell him off for his treatment of the 3 of them as well as their mothers. It left the ending feeling a little open. Like the adventure was Still happening, and we get some closure, but had a ways to go before it was over. I almost hope the Author will think about adding another book in the future.
Also, the kings advisor deserved worse than he got. He should consider himself lucky.
All in all, I adored this book, and the series. I definitely crave more, and think there’s enough to make it so, but I’m also not upset with it being the ending. Highly recommend.

Series review

This series had great character development. I enjoyed Harper because she was strong. She didn't put up with anything and had enough respect for herself to not just jump into bed with the guys because they were handsome. They all treated her so badly that it was hard to forgive them. When Harper almost had sex with Lucien I wanted to smack her. But I was proud of her for stopping it from happening, even in the heat of the moment. The princes end up redeeming themselves once Severin comes into the picture, but they were certainly jerks who should have had to do way more groveling to be forgiven by Harper. Severin was my favorite because he just accepted Harper and adored her from the start. He didn't play games with her. I got a kick out of him pretending to have to think about the peace treaty requirement to marry Harper when he knew she was his from their first encounter. It made me think he had a good sense of humor.

The plot was interesting and the series was well paced. I think the conclusion was a little too rushed. After the final battle the story jumps ahead a whole year. Maybe an epilogue would have helped smooth it out. I would have liked to know how Severin and his people transitioned. Did some people stay behind? Does Severin go back and forth between lands? What happened with the
King? Did the prince's people accept the peace treaty easily? What ever happened with Harper's family? What happened to Arthur in all this? I would have liked to read about some of those things. The story did tie up all loose ends, but those are just questions I had.

This series was good and I truly enjoyed the storyline. Overall I rate it a 4.5, I loved how Harper never backed down despite everything thrown at her and kept true to being a dragon rider. I especially enjoyed the bond she had with Ebron. The reasons it ain’t a five star for me is because I felt like the pace was a bit all over the place in terms of the relationships. One moment they all hate her, the next they’re basically fated bc of their dragons choices, but they choose to hate her except for Sevrin and then they’re all about loving and protecting her. It just felt like I got whiplash with that but I do like how Harper and her men: Gareth, Alaric, Lucien, and Sevrin came together at the end and got peace for both their peoples. Although another thing is that I wish we got more backstory on everyone, even like little bit more tidbits here and there of Harper’s family and their assassin roles they seemed to be in for the royal family. More about the prince’s mothers and how that affected them. Even more about the dragons own story and why there were so few males to begin with like what causes it to happen. And more about the history between both people, the Hollowborn and the kingdom and why there was so much bad blood between them and why peace failed so many times.

All in all I liked the story’s premise and I’m always a sucker for an HEA and a badass female lead so I was happy with that too. It was a rather refreshing read and I got done with the series rather quickly so I’d definitely recommend it to others.

Finally! This is what I've been waiting for. I didn't realize just how emotionally stunted the princes were. Don't get me wrong, I knew they had problems, but I didn’t realize the extent of it. After learning more about what their childhood was like, I have to give them credit for not being complete disasters. I was angry on their behalf. They've started getting their act together. Things are improving between all of them. That might have something to do with King Sevrin. That man is a smokeshow. The level of charm, charisma, and caring he has for Harper is unreal. Sevrin definitely had me swooning and is my favorite amongst the guys.

Going into this, I was positive that this wasn't the final book. Boy, was I wrong. Lacey stuffed a lot into this one. I loved getting to know King Sevrin. Hearing things from his perspective and learning about the past certainly put a spin on things. The Halloborn people are introduced fully. I enjoyed seeing the world from another culture's perspective. It was interesting seeing them as a people and where they called home. From there, things moved kind of fast. There was some progress, but I didn't think the story was wrapping up until the craziest plot twist. Wowza!

Court of Lust wrapped up Harper's story perfectly. I loved the ending. I would say this is by far my favorite book in the series, and what a good series it was. I'm glad I took a chance on Lacey's take on bully romance.

Court of Lust is the kind of book that makes you forget you have responsibilities. One chapter turns into ten, and suddenly you’re wide awake, emotionally invested, and absolutely feral for what happens next.
This story burns slow and hot at the same time — rich fantasy stakes layered with desire, loyalty, and power plays that actually matter. Harper doesn’t stumble into strength; she claims it, and watching her step into her own is deeply satisfying. She’s sharp, resilient, and unapologetic in a world that keeps trying to box her in. I loved that she never has to shrink to be loved — she’s wanted because of her fire.
The men? Dangerous, devoted, frustrating, protective, and completely undone by her. Each one brings a different tension to the table, and none of them feel interchangeable. The chemistry isn’t rushed or hollow — it simmers, collides, and explodes in ways that feel earned. This book understands that desire hits harder when emotions are on the line, and it delivers.
Beyond the romance, the world itself feels alive — courts full of secrets, dragons with presence and weight, and choices that carry real consequences. The balance between plot and passion is handled beautifully, never letting one overpower the other.
Finishing this book was bittersweet. Lacey has a beautiful way of ensuring you crave every page that when it finally ends you want more. This was the closure to this series but I can't wait to read whats next.

Overall an enjoyable series (books are a solid 3.75-4 as a whole, this book needed more) but there were a lot of plot holes she never addressed.
I do think this final book was rushed. There is very little spice in this entire series. And RH is expected to have more spicy times bc MORE DONGS. 😂

RH no MM

KU

Finished series

Bully-enemies to lovers (not enough grovel imho)

Pregnancy at end. No birth. No children on page.

Dragon babies.

HEA

I think this book needs a novella to wrap up some of the lingering issues. But I doubt this author will ever read this and understand her readers needed more. This harem needed more time together. Just jumping a year into the future wasn’t enough and was lazy. Made me sad to get all the way to the end and have hanging chads.

And it always pisses me off when a character is pregnant and then the story just POOF ends.

The fuck! 🫠It’s the worst. At the very least gather emails with a really fabulous epilogue. But between the book being rushed and no real epilogue, I was disappointed.

Also. Take note. One of her men is bald. Written to be bald. And then twice at the end of the story she writes he has hair. Something tells me this author was banging out letters to reach her deadline. Hence why the story isn’t as balanced as it could have been.

Either way. Novella would be nice. I liked these characters but Severin was my fave bc of how he treated the fmc.

“I feel,” he struggles for the word, “broken.” I smile. “We all feel a little broken. And we are all a little broken. But broken things can be fixed, and can be even more beautiful once their pieces are put back together.” “You make it sound easy.” “It might not be easy, but I’m here with you. Your brothers are here with you. Even Sevrin will be here with you, to help navigate a life with people who want to be close to you.” He makes a little sound of disbelief. I touch his face. “Gareth, we can have a new life, but we have to be open to new things. You have to be willing to open up to all of us. If you do, I think we can create a really amazing family.”

Once again we find ourselves back with Harper and her princes for the final book in this series but now we throw in King Severin the hollowborne leader who is certainly not what you expect he's the sweet kind guy who wants to love and take care of Harper not the savage that everyone thinks.

What you then get is a book that makes you say aww as Harper finds herself learning more about the guys and why they are the way they are a marriage and a peace treaty and a mission to make sure there is more male dragons.

I honestly loved this whole series and I'm kinda said that it's now completed and over I will miss Harper her guys and ebron our male dragon who constantly made me laugh.

series was sort of great

Overall, good story! Great world building, beloved FMC, dragons! But, a main plot point was MMC bullying gone wrong (oh no we now like this girl! Classic). There was talk* of groveling but then there was exactly zero groveling. And actually the FMC felt bad for them and then worked harder? It’s dual POV so we get a tortured “their parent failed to teach them emotional maturity” and you kinda agree and go “ahh okay! We’ll agree to FMC reaching out first, they were neglected as kids!”. And as you wait for them to give luke warm remorse, effort, or apology (which doesn’t come?), the very next chapter (even in book 3!) was an MMC going “I STILL think we’ll win and force the FMC away from her beloved dragon so I can have him!” And you are left confused? Girl is trying to make it work with hot garbage still, in book 3!? And then they profess love with no behavior change on page, just “these guys are hot and can’t express feelings!” (Felt strange). Felt like this girl fell in love with 3 card board cut outs after they stopped beating her up. It wasn’t that satisfying on that front. Also final conflict lacked depth (no dual POV of said MMCs lured away? Missed opportunity). Still would recommend but don’t expect the 4.7 star rating in the relationship building, that’s for sure.

Amazing, what an ending!! This third and final book of the dragon rider trilogy picks up at our last cliffhanger with Harper meeting the king of the Hollowbornes. King Sevrin was....not as expected. As the two bonded and marry, we see that there may be more to his people's side of history than expected.

The steam definitely picks up a LOT in this book, as the marriage seems to be the final wakeup call to the princes to get on board the Harper train and treat her like the queen she is. It is so good to see the dynamic between the four men develop from an instinctual hatred from years of being told one story, to actually listening to and supporting one another.

As the heat picks up, so does the tension needed to repair the peace treaty between the two kingdoms. In the final epic battle scene, we reveal the true traitor (I honestly NEVER liked Elder Thorne from day one!) and we have a stunning conclusion, resulting in the much needed peace. We do also get a brief glimpse into the future life of Harper and her men, now that peace reigns free and they are existing in their new lives.

Yet another stunner from LCA, definitely worth a read if you love dragons, epic battles, enemies to lovers, steam, and a happy ending for all! Cannot wait to see what fantasy she comes out with next :)

I received an ARC copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I was happy to see Harper get her much deserved HEA. Even more happy to see the 3 princes work for her affection and love. Picking where book 2 leaves off Harper is now married to Sevrin the king of the Hollowborn; Harper was always taught how danger and bloodthirsty the Hollowborn were and honestly Sevrin was the PERFECT mate. It did not take long for Harper to accept her reality with him especially when she saw what he truly looked like underneath his scary war paint.

This book covered so much that this book could have been much longer. The 3 princes were already trying to think of a game plan on how to reach Harper's heart and those plans were quickly derailed when they witnessed firsthand how much love and adoration she was given by another man: not only another man but their sworn enemy. Sevrin was exactly the trigger needed to get the princes to fall in line or step aside.

Even has Harper and her men navigate their new normal; some close to the king is trying to stage a coup and the hard-fought Peace Treaty balances on a knife's edge but Harper and her men refuse to stop fighting for Peace and their new family resulting in an EPIC showdown pitting dragon rider against dragon rider.

This was such an entertaining and enjoyable trilogy.

I really wish this series would have been more developed for longer books because it really was a cool story. I craved for more. I got my thirst just enough quenched but I wanted to reach for the rest that wasn't there. That's not a bad thing, it's just this entire series could have been GREAT instead of good.

I absolutely loved Harper. I thought she was a strong lead and even though she was very hard headed and stubborn, she did overcome some obstacles.

I did not like the swift shift in all of the relationships. This is where I feel the story should have followed longer on. I needed the massive groveling of all of the princes. She also turned very meek once she and Sevrin were back. I really just wish there was more for everyone.

I LOVED the pictures that were given of the characters. I do wish we had one with Sevrin without his skull makeup on though. Like maybe at the end. It would have been really cool to have the one that was already there for the beginning but then one at the end where they were all laying in the grass with the honeysuckle and him without the makeup on.

I enjoyed the series. I don't know if I'll ever pick it up again. But it really was intriguing and I loved the dragon lore. Just wish there was so much more to all of it.

This is the conclusion we have all been waiting for and it was exactly how I hoped it would be. :) We left off with the agreement the King of the Dravari sent Harper with to the Hollowborn King for peace. Harper was to wed not only the 3 Dravari princes but the Hollowborn King as well. I absolutely love Sevrin! He had so much depth and showed the 3 princes what life could have been like if they had a caring family like Sevrin did. There was A LOT of growth for the 3 and I would have loved to have seen a bit more groveling after everything those three put Harper through. We get our battle but it's not Sevrin against the 3 princes or even the Dravari against the Hollowborn. And you totally saw it coming! Sevrin holds up his end of the peace agreement and tells the Dravari how to help make male hatchlings and I loved the image LCA gave you at the end of them playing with all the other dragons. Remember when Ebron told Harper his harem wasn't complete with just the 3 princes' dragons? EEK!! You are so going to love the last member and her rider. :) That's all I'll say. The HEA is absolutely perfect! You will love this book.

I enjoyed the final book in this trilogy!

I love that Lacey picks up right where the last book left off, there's no guessing on missed plot. There was a lot of steam in Book 3 between Harper and her horde. In the last book, Harper had gone to the Hallowborn to broker a peace deal and offer herself as a bride; but the book ended with him telling her he may just capture her and use her as a bargaining chip instead. As his people chant to end her, he realizes she's the way to peace. And lets just say, there is a bit of a surprising twist and this king of the Hallowborn is THE BEST in this whole book. Gareth, Lucien, and Alaric, when they finally see they've got to get their acts together and put the work in. I thought there could have just been a bit more character arc here for the three guys, because lets be honest, they were still pretty clueless about treating a lady, but for some reason Harper still cares. it's a good thing they have a good role model now! And of course, we still have to find out who is plotting behind the scenes because you know ther is going to be an epic battle somewhere in this book!

"The Instant I touched you, the instant I saw you, I knew you were mine."

The last book in the series and I am so sad to say goodbye to Ebron! This book was such a ride! I quickly took a liking to Sevrin, the swoony Hollowborn King. When he started to call Harper "My Heart", my heart just about melted. His personal relationhsip with Harper was easy right from the beginning, it was from the outside forces that the problems arose.
The Princes, while I'm not sure they exactly redeemed themselves, it became more clear why they acted the way they did. Growing up without love, they didn't really know how to navigate a romantic or loving relationship. The jealousy they showed when Harper returned with Sevrin was actually very satisfying though.... And I did get a giggle out of all the mens reaction to Alaric's big reveal (you'll see what I mean) during a particular scene.

I did think the ending was a bit abrupt. We suddenly went from a tense scene to one year later for the final chapter. The author did manage to clear up most of the key points of the aftermath in that chapter though so I'm not going to complain too much! A great ending to a great series!

This was a very fulfilling and satisfactory end to Harper's story.
We jump right back into the story where book 2 left us hanging, Hollowborn chanting to end her.
But King Severin is definitely not who you would expect. He is so much more and I loved how that put the Dravari princes under pressure!

Great character development, lots of action and affection.

I loved how the guys ended up bonding and oh! Rosanthra - I would have LOVED to get a deeper look into the female dragon's personalities, cause I absolutely love Ebron and feel Rosanthra would have brought a softer side to the fierce beasts.

This book is a tiny bit longer than usual for LCA, but it's still an easy and quick read.
My only complaint *wink* is, that the books wasn't longer! The MMC's relationships with their dragons could have brought a lot more to the story. At least I think so. But, it would, of course, have slowed the pace down a bit.

Definitely recommended for lovers of dragons (duh LOL), RH fantasy romance and strong FMCs.

I really liked this series and flew through all the books. The worldbuilding is solid, the characters are easy to get attached to, and the dragon rider concept was a lot of fun to sink into. It’s an engaging, comforting fantasy series that I genuinely enjoyed spending time with.

My only real critique is that the story felt like it was building toward a much larger conflict than what we ultimately got. Everything was set up to feel huge and high stakes, but the payoff landed more in the middle than I expected. I kept waiting for something massive to happen.

Also the princes father was such an a-hole. They should have gotten some sort of resolution there. And Arthur…like what happened there? I love her best friend and wanted him apart of the harem so badly. I think she might have set up for Arthur to get together with Sevrin’s sister. Maybe?

That said, it’s still a good series overall, and I don’t regret reading it at all.

A strong, enjoyable dragon rider series that just left me wishing the final conflict had gone a little bigger.
