“My insides quake. The thought of another man running his hands down Skylar’s perfect hips and thighs, across her stomach, has me seeing red. She’s mine. All f@cking mine. Derrick is right-I won’t be able to do this. If anyone tries to date her they’ll be sorry.”
4 stars! This is the conclusion to the story and it was beautiful!!! I really loved this series and the ending it to die for!

This is the conclusion to this series and it was a great ending! I don’t want to give too much away but I will say the story is so well written and the characters are hard not to fall in love with. Caleb is the sexy NFL wannabe, that you can’t help but want to fall for!! Great series and great book!!!

Caleb and Skylar have been together through thick and thin for the past two years and have been through many ups and downs, but one thing has stayed consistent - their love for each other. Now at college, life has been great with Caleb working towards his goal as an NFL player and Skylar working towards getting into Duke and studying Medicine. Life couldn't get any better and now they have been talking about moving in together. That is until Caleb recieves a letter, that he has been invited to participate in the tryouts for the early NFL draft - and for Caleb this is an awesome and amazing opportunity. The thing is though, he doesn't know how to tell Skylar as he loves her too much and he knows that she will give up her dream to be with him as she loves him just as much. That's why Caleb makes the hard decision to break up with her - reading this made me sort of angry as I knew where Caleb was coming from but it irritates me as it's like I'd rather break up with you and hurt you than let you make your own decisions as if she wanted to follow him - then Caleb let her, it's not your choice to make. So that's the sad moment in Rival Dreams , but can the pair make it through the hurt and discover that no matter their dreams and goals - that without each other they are useless as they would be miserable and not happy like one should be when presented with opportunites to recieve their dreams and goals.
If you are looking for a College Romance that borders on suitable for Teens to read as it read more like a Teen Fiction than New Adult and you love your Sports stars, then check out Natalie Decker's series "Rival Love" .

Such a cute book, with the perfect way to end the story. There were a few scenes that I skipped over due to inappropriate conduct for the young teenager age group, but other than that it was very enjoyable. The twist in the middle of the book was unexpected, and tied the whole thing together.

In the span of two days I've read the entire Rival Love series by Natalie Decker. I've seen and experienced the highs and lows of Caleb and Skylar's relationships. It's been a tumultuous ride. Rival Dreams is the last book in the series. Each book can be read as a standalone which is great. It follows Skylar and Caleb during their journey in college.
One thing this book had a lot of was drama. Even when I wanted to smack some sense into Caleb or Skylar, I wanted to know what was going to happen next. The angst and emotion is well written and will leave you hanging on to each page. Caleb and Skylar had great chemistry and while I would've liked to have seen more heat and action between them, I liked how the story maintained the YA feel in a new adult setting.
I liked seeing Caleb and Skylar handling most of their previous issues as adults. I liked seeing how they'd matured over the two years they'd been together, even the points and places where they hadn't. Natalie Decker has done a wonderful job at telling their story. There have been laughs and tears, happiness and sadness, but it was all worth it.

Natalie, you have my deepest and most heart felt respect for writing this incredible piece of a literature. It was the MOST HEART WARMING and BEAUTIFUL endings i have ever read! I recommend this to all teen and young adult romance novel fan to read this masterpiece and always cherish it. Natalia, i will be waiting for your next young adult/teen romance novel, hope you write your next masterpiece.

Perfect ending to a great series!
I wouldn't mind having a fourth book for this series. It's rare for me to want more despite the perfect ending but I feel like Caleb and Sky have a lot more growing up to do. And they are so perfect for each other. Their chemistry is palpable. In addition, I also want to see more of Lance and Kayla.
I highly recommend this series!

Great ending to this series. I felt the drama was a bit over the top for me and Caleb should have come clean way sooner than he did. I guess I wished for book 3 to be some minor drama with more happy ending but I got the opposite but I still loved this book and series.

One of the best trilogy I've ever read, in the span of five days I've finished reading these three books simply because I just can't stop reading it. Skylar and Caleb are perfect for each other. Giving all of these three books five star.

ONE WORD ....... "AMAZING".......... loved it. So much romance.... TEEN LOVE....... I would recommend this book to someone who likes teenage romances but in would say 15+

A nice final installment to Caleb's and Skylar's love story. All the drama you expect from Caleb and Sky, but with a true HEA.

DISCLAIMER: The author gave me this entire series for my reader's pleasure, and now I don't know what to do with myself!
I was dreading this series coming to an end. I admit it. I dreaded the ending of what is now part of me. Not joking around. This morning, after finishing it, I am at a loss for purpose. But that ending was awesome! So perfect. I do have closure, but now all I want to do is go back and read it all over again!

March 9, 2019I DNF'ed this book soon after what I called the "typical 2015 YA (secretly a little NA) MC whining" and I just didn't really enjoy this book at all.
