I'm in my final year of the forensic behavioral analysis program. My life hasn't exactly been rainbows and butterflies but if I can do anything right, it's this. Until I decide to join my roommate for a night out and everything goes south, fast. I can't let it distract me from finding the person, or people, who took my family from me. I think this might be my favorite book by this author & it’s so different from everything else she writes.
Natalie, Lucas, and the Widow Maker as main characters was so fun to navigate. This book is full of twists and turns that you won’t see you coming. Just when I thought the book was going one way, bam something different happened.
Overall, I really enjoyed this book and seeing all the things Nat went through. The cliffhanger at the end will need you in need of more immediately!

Ava! My gosh this book was fantastic! twists and turns, secrets and spice! I could not put this down! It has the exact right amount of suspense, spice, and twists to keep you turning those pages! I cannot wait to read more!

Ava absolutely killed it with this one! This psychological thriller is a bold and brilliant shift from her usual work—aside from the signature spice, of course. The twists were nonstop, the suspense was intense, and I couldn’t put it down. It had everything I love in a read: surprises, tension, and just the right amount of heat. Ava’s writing in this genre is next-level, and I seriously hope she keeps going in this direction. If you're craving a thrilling, spicy page-turner, this one’s a must-read. I’m already counting down the days until her next release!

Silent Spaces pulled me in from the start and never let go. The tension, the atmosphere, and the emotional depth made this such a compelling read. Ava Wylde does an amazing job creating characters that feel raw and real, and the slow unraveling of their connection kept me glued to the pages.
I loved the way the story explores silence—not just the absence of sound, but the unspoken emotions, trauma, and longing between the characters. Every interaction felt loaded with meaning, and the chemistry simmered in a way that made each moment hit harder.
The pacing was perfect, the emotions were heavy in the best way, and that ending?? It left me needing answers immediately. I’m fully invested in where this story is going next.

This book sits heavy in your chest long after you finish. Silent Spaces is dark, emotional, and deeply unsettling in the way only A.V. Wylde can do. The atmosphere is thick with tension, and the silence between the characters speaks louder than words.
The story explores trauma, pain, and survival in a raw, unfiltered way. It’s uncomfortable at times, but intentionally so. The characters are flawed and broken, and while some moments felt slow or repetitive, the emotional impact never faded.
This isn’t a feel-good read, and it’s definitely not for everyone, but if you enjoy dark, psychological stories that make you sit with the discomfort, this one delivers. It left me thinking about it well after the last page.

This was a good read. I love books that have the profiler aspect in it and I love them even more when they're darker romance. This story had twists that I didn't see coming at all. There were times that I thought I had figured something out or even thought "ok obviously this is what's going to happen" only to find out later than I was wrong. Every character finds a way to surprise you throughout the read. It kept me hooked until the end and I'm looking forward to reading the second one. I loved Lucas and Nat together. He is definitely green flag energy. If you are into insta love, crime thrillers, and darkish romance then I would definitely recommend this one.

I liked the concept for the story and it definitely has a twist I wasn’t expecting it does all tie together well. The character depth just wasn’t deep enough for me and I don’t get a feeling of connection to Natalie and Lucas. This is a quicker read not a full length so it was fast. With the epilogue it seems like there will be more to come with this series.

I NEED MORE!!!
Silent Spaces is my FAVORITE read of the year! I was LOCKED IN after page ONE && that doesnt happen often. Avenged Sevenfold just SET THE MOOOOOOD🤌 I DEVOURED this book in under 24 hours. I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. This is one of those trust no chapter, trust no character books. I love how SMOOTHLY the different POVs flowed together. Not to mention from the kil!3rs POV?! FLAWLESS. This book left me craving more and I am SO HAPPY theres a second 😍

AMAZING!!! I absolutely loved this book. It was so intense. The storyline was mind blowing. I loved the twists and turns in this. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. It was suspenseful and spicy. This is the first time I’ve read this surge, and it definitely won’t be my last.

This is a new author for me. I really liked this book. She put lots of twist, turns, secrets and oh the spice! Twist I didnt see coming. This book kept my interest from start to finish. I look forward to reading some of her other books.

Whew, what a ride!! I did not see the twist coming! There was a little bit of spice, and a whole lot of intrigue! Honestly, I've loved everything written by this author so far!

Who doesn't like a vigilante serial killer? This was a good book, I loved the writing style. Only thing that could have made it better was for it to be longer. I'm glad that it continues on.
