Fantastic inside look at the local traditions and people that make Bled so magical. The author covers the traditional and touristy side of Bled, but also gives tremendous insight into the lesser known places, practices and people that made the village what it is today. My family and I have visited Bled many times over the past 20 years, have seen it change, and have loved it every step of the way. We now have a new list of things to do, courtesy of the author's connections and experiences.
As a sidenote, Mr. Charney, I recently spoke with Toni Mezan when we were visiting Bled, about the possibility of starting an English-speaking school (Lake Bled International School?). I'd love to get your insight/input as well. If you're interested in a conversation, please reach out. You can find information about me on my school's website: www.maharishischool.org. You can reach me at bpotash@maharishischool.org. I look forward to connecting with you!
