Turns out the line between wanting to fight someone and actually wanting them is thinner than I thought. And I'm about to cross it in a spectacularly stupid way.

I transferred to escape my father's shadow. Instead, I got Becker—a podcasting menace who turns everything into content and makes me feel things I've spent twenty-four years not feeling.
About anyone. Especially not men.
But a tiny cabin does things to a person. Things like noticing how Becker's chaos somehow makes sense. How his smile makes my carefully controlled world tilt sideways. How badly I want to kiss the smirk off his face after he calls me a "hockey robot" for the thousandth time.
When we finally stop fighting long enough to kiss, everything changes. But my father doesn't do change—he does ultimatums. One hot-mic incident later, and he's threatening to blacklist Becker from the league.
And I'm about to break his heart to save it.

I liked Becker and Kane together and I think they complemented each other quite well, their personalities being so different. I loved the setting of having to share a room and how it gave lots of opportunities to bring them closer but I think this was underused.
I also had a hard time believing Becker would be allowed to have such an open podcast without any PR interference whilst being an NHL player. Everything was very messy around that and after the second time he accidently broadcasted what he shouldn't have, it became boring. And surely there are better ways of speaking to your father than broadcasting it to (apparently) 800k people.
I haven't read any of the erotic short stories from this author but I think they have potential and I would love to see where they go from here. They do need to tidy up their stories a bit and get a better editor because there were quite a few typos.

Same as book 3 in this series. Very over the top, completely unrealistic and ridiculous, unoriginal story, but quite funny nonetheless.
I don’t think any team would allow one of their players to actually have a podcast. And what I also don’t think made sense is how little success Becker had with because if he’s a known player (and he’s been around for a few years), with so much personality, he’d have more than 20 listeners. Even if he’s as bad as it seems.
Kane/Jayden didn’t feel like a real person either (nor a robot). As in a person that could actually exist. His ,om dies when he’s six years old, and taught him some figure skating. And 20 years later he still knows the basics to a degree that he can lift? Also: he colorcodes his socks and organizes spices for the host at a birthday party, but he conveniently forgot he’s miked, during a filmed game, minutes after it was mentioned? And that is the time he talks about kissing, not in their cabin away from anyone? That was ridiculously out of character.
Also annoying how early in the book the team called they were going to fight or fuck. I know I was reading a mm romcom, and they leads were going to get each other. I did not need the team to tell me. Leave some of the magic of the story alive please…
Just like the other book in the series I red, it was very funny. I think it this author would get some exercise in creative realistic writing and leave the ridiculousness and over the top (and unnecessary) lazy choices behind her, she’d have gold on her hands. She’s amazing at writing actually funny bantering, most authors could learn from her. Just now combine with an actual story without spelling out the end and I’d be fan for life.
So in conclusion: I wouldn’t advise anyone to buy this book, because it’s really not good. It’s just a lot of fluff, lots of smut, and a mean father. It entertained me for a few hours though. So if that’s what you’re looking for, enjoy 😁

Straight off the bat, I loved this book because it hands down has some of the best humor, making me laugh through the whole thing. The chemistry between Becker and Kane was there from day one along with some of the best banter but then you add in the rest of the team's wit making it such a fun read!
The storyline itself was decent but I will be honest and say that the way the book ended was 50/50 for me, the worst being the situation with Kane and his father as it just felt a little blah but everything else was top notch and adding in the wit, made it a 5 star.
What I do want to point out is that there is not a single player or person within their team that is against their relationship as they are so inclusive and encourage what's going on between them which is so refreshing because all other MM hockey romances usually always have that one dick head who has to be against it.
Defiantly worth the read 👏🏼

This was a fun book to read. A few legit hilarious moments.
We met the chaos agent Becker in the previous book so we knew how this would go, even if circumstances had him getting serious for a while in this book. Then we have the 'robotic' Kane.
he's a tough one to crack and carries his own issues that have to be dealt with.
I enjoyed the story a lot and look forward to the next book. This is a great team to follow and a fun series to read.

this was hilarious and i had a great time reading it. would've been a five star, but there were a lot of grammar/typos/spelling mistakes. definitely needs another round of editing to fix all that but i still would recommend this for anyone who loves a story of pure chaos.

I really like this book, easily one of the funniest MM romances I've read. I don't know if it was just the version I read (downloaded a free version) but there were several spelling mistakes and halfway through one scene there's a POV Change with no indication of one which threw me off

Most unfortunate cover for this book and I’m glad I didn’t “judge the book by its cover” because this was so sweet, fun, and funny.
Great banter! Doesn’t get too weighed down in the heavy stuff. Just lots of crazy hockey boy shenanigans.
