First rule of demonic possession: don't fall in love

Lacy Gordon, amateur paranormal investigator, is experiencing the supernatural world in a way she never expected. While climbing out the window of a haunted house, an unseen force collides with her, thrusting her into the unknown. She soon finds herself trapped in the depths of her own mind, desperately screaming for freedom. To her surprise, someone responds.

This disembodied voice belongs to Tonkitgrol, or "Kit," as he prefers to be called—a demon with somewhat of a heart. Even so, Lacy isn’t about to relinquish control of her body. Armed with relentless curiosity, she bombards him with questions, hoping to annoy him into leaving her be. As she delves deeper into the mystical realm, she uncovers more about Kit’s tormented past. Once human like her, he endured centuries of suffering in Hell before choosing to become a demon.

Despite their differences, Lacy and Kit forge an unlikely partnership. Together, they work on a submission for a paranormal investigation reality show contest that Lacy plans to win. As Lacy finds her feelings for Kit inexplicably deepening, she faces an agonizing decision: should she exorcise him and shatter her heart, or dive into the chaos of sharing her life—and her body—with a demon straight from Hell?

Thank you Love Notes PR and the author for giving me this copy in exchange for my honest opinion of the book.

It was a very pleasant surprise; I honestly didn't think I was going to like it so much.

Kit and Lacy are absolutely adorable; I loved their dynamic. Perhaps my only issue with the book is that it felt quite long, and I think it could have been a bit shorter, but otherwise, I enjoyed it immensely.

This book was a good time!! I loved the uniqueness of the story I haven’t encountered nor read a book like that before although I think I kinda watched a movie like it before. The MMC was soo funny and cute. He was a broken tortured golden retriever ( my fav type of MMCs ). The FMC was tough and kind. I loved their banter and their chemistry. The pace of the book was good I was able to finish it ( that is a big deal I haven’t been able to finish any novel since forever!!!)

The thing that I didn’t like was that I think that the problems they faced were solved too easy and rushed also the nickname kitten pls I hate it and what made it even worse that the FMC gave it to the MMC !! 😩

After having come straight from another Romance, I wasn't sure how this would hit as I like to mix up my genres, but a deadlines a deadline so I went straight to it!

I was able to read an ARC copy of I've got You Under My Skin and it did not disappoint! I was really happy with the balance of horror-paranormal/ meets romance mixed with a little comedy.

I've not read any of the authors previous books but I likely will now based off this one. Well paced, enjoyable, emotions in the right places. Likeable characters and the pet names didn't bother me as they didn't feel over used as they can.

Overall it was a feel good rom-com vibe that was a good way to help relax in the evenings.

Bonus points for the cat rescue ;)

I adored this book! My favorite show is Ghost Adventures and it's literally named in the first couple of pages - not to mention Kit really kinda looks like Zak Bagans and I ain't mad at it. 🤣

I LOVED all of the references to Millennial pop culture, including how they sit around and watch Friends. The banter was excellent and I was rooting for these two from the beginning. It's really hard not to fall in love with Kit right from the beginning.

It's a paranormal romance, so obviously some suspension of disbelief is a requirement for a good chunk of what happens in this story, but I absolutely adored it and didn't want it to end. Would absolutely recommend!

2 Chili Peppers - The slow burn is SLOW BURNING and it is good! Two chili peppers because while there is some descriptive sex on the page it's really towards the end of the book and only happens a couple of times - the main story really is told in the building of their relationship and the tension.

This book was it for me! I oddly loved them falling for each other while he was possessing her. A very intimate way to get to know the other person 🫣

Kit, the man that you are… yes possessing someone to protect them is unconventional but he made it work. He was like her guardian demon. His commitment to Lacy was a testament to him not being too far gone despite what he thought.

Lacy was a badass with an abandonment issue that she was ignoring, kinda. She didn’t take crap from anyone, not even literal demons. I liked that she stayed true to herself throughout all the craziness.

I would definitely recommend this to a friend who enjoys paranormal romance!

Thanks to Love Notes PR and Kate Paige for the ARC!

I had a great time with this book, mostly because I haven't read anything like it! Talk about forced proximity: only one BODY! Kate wrote the spice for this particular situation in a magnificent and hot way!

Kit is our demon/golden retriever MMC and Lacy, the FMC, is fun and relatable, even of we're in a paranormal romance.

I loved it and recommend it if you want to read something unique!

Tropes to look for:

😈 Only one body
😈 Forced proximity
😈 Demon x Ghost hunter
😈 Loathe to love
😈 Paranormal romance

This paranormal romance was a game-changer. Kit and Lacy's characters were incredibly well-developed, and their progression was organic. The story was unpredictable, and the paranormal elements added so much depth. I was fully invested in their journey, feeling every emotion. Everything in this book blended so well together with the glimpses of the past and present. Kit and Lacy's story will linger in my mind.

ARC Review

✨ Description

I’ve Got You Under My Skin blends paranormal adventure with romance, following Lacy, a ghost hunter with a large YouTube following who spends her nights exploring haunted locations and attempting to communicate with spirits. When an investigation goes terribly wrong, Lacy wakes up to discover she’s no longer alone in her body. A demon named Kit has possessed her in order to protect her from a far more dangerous entity. What begins as a terrifying situation evolves into an unusual partnership as the two navigate demons, ghosts, and the blurred line between possession and companionship.

💬 Review (Spoilers Ahead!)

This book had such a unique premise, and the paranormal elements really pulled me in. Lacy’s life as a paranormal hunter with a massive online following already gives the story a fun, modern supernatural vibe, but the real hook is what happens when she gets possessed by Kit. Instead of immediately turning into a horror story, the possession becomes something far more complex — awkward, intimate, and surprisingly emotional.

The way Kit and Lacy interact inside the “void” of her mind was such an interesting concept. When Kit is controlling her body, Lacy exists in this mental space where they can see and interact with each other as if they were two separate people. It’s such a strange but clever way to develop their relationship, allowing them to talk, learn about each other, and slowly build trust even though they technically share one body.

Kit ended up being one of my favourite parts of the story. At first he tries to convince Lacy that he’s dangerous because he’s a demon, but the deeper we get into his backstory, the clearer it becomes that he’s far more complicated than that. Learning that he sold his soul at sixteen to save his nephew from leukemia completely reframes who he is. His years of torture under the demon Balores also add real emotional weight to his character.

I also really enjoyed the world-building around Hell and demons. The idea that when people die they can become tortured souls, demons, or fade into nothingness was such an intriguing system, and the way Hell itself was described felt surprisingly believable despite the supernatural premise.

The plot moves in some unexpected directions, especially once it’s revealed that Kit originally possessed Lacy to protect her from Balores, who was planning to take her body for himself. The connection between Kit secretly protecting Lacy in the past (even possessing someone she trusted in order to keep her safe) adds another layer to their relationship.

The final act really delivered for me. Lacy attempting to exorcise Kit even though she cares about him creates a powerful emotional conflict, and her determination to find a way to save him afterwards shows just how much their relationship has evolved. Kit’s return to Hell to confront Balores and ultimately defeat him raises the stakes nicely, and the resolution felt both satisfying and hopeful.

I also loved the side elements, like Matthias and his coven. Their magical world was fascinating and honestly made me want an entire book about them.

Overall, this was such a fun paranormal romance with a creative premise and a lot of heart. Watching Lacy and Kit go from unwilling host and demon to partners, both romantically and professionally, made the ending feel well-earned.

⭐ Rating: 4/5
🌶 Spice: 3/5 - mostly emotional intimacy with some sexy moments
💔 Tropes: Demon x human • Forced proximity • Supernatural partnership • Found family • Saving each other
✨ Vibe: Spooky, romantic, and imaginative - paranormal adventure with emotional depth

I don’t think I’ve ever read anything quite like I’ve Got You Under My Skin - and I mean that in the best possible way.

This paranormal romance completely pulled me in. It made me laugh, it broke my heart, and it stitched everything back together in the most satisfying way.

Kit and Lacey are two of the loneliest characters I’ve met on page in a long time. Hearing how Kit died genuinely made me tear up. The isolation, the grief, the sense of not belonging anywhere - it hit deeply and personally. Their connection felt so meaningful because they found each other when both of them were at their lowest.

And when Lacey and Kit found their way back to each other? I was fully squealing and kicking my feet. No shame. The emotional payoff of that reunion was EVERYTHING.

The concept alone is wildly unique: a demon and a ghost hunter sharing one body. The forced proximity, the banter, the slow burn tension, the reluctant trust turning into devotion - it was addictive. Kit is the ultimate broken golden retriever MMC: chaotic, funny, soft-hearted, and fiercely protective. When he saved Lacey from the higher demon? I was emotionally compromised. And when she tricked him and exorcised him? The regret. The devastation. I felt that loss in my chest.

As someone who ghost hunts in my spare time, this book felt especially personal. The paranormal investigation elements were right up my alley. And when Kit woke up in Eastbourne - somewhere I used to live - I had to pause. At that point it felt cosmically assigned to me.

I loved the worldbuilding too. The idea that all religions are simultaneously correct, and that Heaven and Hell operate like businesses, was both hilarious and thought-provoking. It added a sharp, dark comedy edge while still exploring grief, identity, belonging, and redemption.

Lacey was strong but deeply human. Her fear of abandonment and her willingness to go to literal Hell for the man she loves made her such a compelling heroine. She didn’t just love Kit - she fought for him.

If I had one small critique, it’s that the resolution surrounding Kit’s body felt slightly easier than I expected given the emotional weight leading up to it. I would have happily taken more struggle there. But it didn’t take away from how much I loved the journey.

I was genuinely sad to finish this. I wasn’t ready to say goodbye to Lacey and Kit 🥰👻

Thank you to the Author and to Love Notes for sending me the ARC 💕

I’ve Got You Under My Skin by Kat Paige was such a soft, cozy surprise - which is not a sentence I ever expected to say about a demonic possession romance… and yet here we are.

This book leans fully into its Black Cat x Golden Retriever, opposites-attract, forced-proximity dynamic in the most endearing way. Kit is the literal definition of a golden retriever MMC - sweet, patient, emotionally open, and so gentle with Lacy despite the very chaotic situation of, you know… sharing her body. The possession element sounds like it should feel dark and high-stakes, but the story instead chooses warmth, curiosity, and emotional intimacy, and I honestly loved that.

What really stood out to me was the tone. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop …for the pain, the betrayal, the big third-act devastation and… it never came. And for this story? That worked. Watching these two characters simply get to have their happy ending, no strings attached, felt comforting in a way that fit the cozy paranormal vibe perfectly.

The plot twist at the end was also a highlight for me, and I adored how the romance was layered through memories and flashbacks. The delayed meet-cute reveal was such a cute touch and made their connection feel even more fated and meaningful.

That said, this is very much a book where I wanted more showing instead of telling. The concepts are so vivid (Hell, demons, stone castles, the internal mindscape) and I found myself wishing the prose would fully immerse me in those spaces. I didn’t just want to be told where we were; I wanted to feel the heat, the scale, the atmosphere. With a more sensory, lyrical style, this world could have been absolutely unforgettable.

The spice level is mild - one (and a half, kind of) on-page scene that’s more about touch and emotional closeness than explicit detail, with everything else happening off-page. I’d place it in the older YA / New Adult open-door-but-soft range rather than full adult paranormal romance.

Also, knowing this is the author’s debut in the paranormal romance genre (after writing contemporary) makes this even more impressive. She brought her signature sweetness into a supernatural framework, and it created something that feels genuinely unique: a cozy demon romance.

Overall, this was cute, comforting, and heartfelt, a low-angst paranormal love story with a sunshine MMC who completely stole my heart.

I've Got You Under My Skin is a paranormal romance featuring Lacy Marie Gordon and a demon named Tonkitgrol, aka Kit.

Lacy is a ghost hunter who has cultivated a bit of a following. She sneaks into spaces that are supposedly haunted and endeavors to communicate with the ghosts using her flashlight. She records her interactions and then posts her videos to her YouTube channel. Unfortunately things don't exactly go as planned one night as she finds herself trapped within her own body. She was possessed by Kit, a lower level demon.

Trapped within herself, the only thing she can do is talk to Kit and ask him endless questions. She wants to find a way to regain control of her body and evict the demon, but he isn't interested in leaving. Lacy learns that Kit was once human named Christopher Patrick Mitchell who was taken to Hell and tortured endlessly until he agreed to become a demon. He's not a very good demon though; most of the illegal acts he commits would be considered mere misdemeanors. Kit also wants to help Lacy with her contest entry which could potentially lead to her having her own paranormal investigational show.

Lacy and Kit share memories and learn more about one another. For a demon, she acknowledges that he's a really nice guy. Over time she starts to develop feeling for him. Still, she can't continue to ride shotgun in her own body and needs to find a way to exorcise Kit, sending him back to the place that broke his spirit.

Overall it was a cute story with a hint of spice. The characters were likeable and relatable. They definitely had chemistry together. Some aspects might be considered unrealistic but it is a paranormal story so it was easy to just accept and move on. I enjoyed their interactions and their conversations. I also loved the rescue cat.

If you enjoy paranormal romance, you might want to check out this unique take on forced proximity.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½ (4.5/5)

I can honestly say I’ve never read a love story about a woman falling for the demon possessing her body — and somehow? It works. Completely unique. Slightly unhinged. Executed so well.

Lacy and Kit use their forced proximity (read: sharing one body) to actually know each other. They trade fears, trauma, and the moments that broke them — and somewhere in the chaos, it turns achingly tender. I haven’t rooted for a human and a demon this hard since Buffy and Spike. What they have feels real.

Kit’s story wrecked me. Utterly devastated. He is the least demon to ever demon — his crimes include shoplifting makeup and drunken club dancing — and when we finally get his backstory? It clicks. Of course Lacy falls for him. There is zero universe where I would have exorcised that man.

I also loved Lacy’s dynamic with her coworker Matthias. Everyone deserves a work bestie who can clock possession at a glance and immediately enter research mode. Bonus points for actively trying to build a corporeal body for your demonic soulmate. That’s true friendship.

I absolutely adored Kat Paige’s Love in Edinburgh series, so I went in with high expectations — and they were exceeded. This supernatural pivot is bold, weird, and emotionally satisfying. I am fully on board for whatever she writes next.

I’ve Got You Under My Skin is a hilarious, heartwarming paranormal romance that will leave you feeling warm & content. Due to the ‘one body’ trope, it’s definitely not your typical love story but the differences make for a really fun reading experience. Romance novels can sometimes get slightly predictable so the unconventional twist is refreshing & really enjoyable!

Kat Paige did a fantastic job of bringing Lacy & Kit to life & I absolutely loved seeing them grow together. As mentioned, the one body trope was a unique, intriguing dynamic & I was constantly curious about what would come next. Their story never felt flat or boring as the sharp wit, sarcasm & love/hate banter was constant. It feels strange saying Lacy & Kit are similar because well, a bookstore worker & a demon (a demon with a heart!!)… but their personalities really did complement each other.

✧ F I N A L • T H O U G H T S ✧

Overall this book was so much fun & honestly, I wouldn’t expect anything less from the hugely talented Kat Paige! Lacy & Kit were evvvverything, I loved the will they/wont they dynamic & the ending was so satisfying. The pacing was on point, the chapter levels were ideal & it was a great book to read in one sitting. It was engaging & there was a lot more emotion involved than I initially expected which was a welcome surprise. Highly recommend!

Firstly,I want to thank LoveNotes PR & Kat Paige for trusting me with this ARC!
Lacy,a paranormal investigator, just happened to be at the wrong place the wrong time.
Kit,a demon, just found his new vessel.
And life will never be the same for either of them!

OKAYYY!I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
I've got you under my skin is a paranormal comedy that will make you cry from laughter FOR SURE.While giving you a wonderful romance to enjoy ! 🩷
Lacy, has always been the kid that was into paranormal stuff, and as an adult this interest only grew bigger and bigger. As a woman, she is literally so,so funny!I ADORED her lines so much!
As her story goes by,we read about a deeply emotional woman that will do ANYTHING for the man she loves, even if she has to go the Hell, itself.
Kit on the other hand,is such a softie, with that make me him so cute!It is seen that he doesn't want to hurt Lacy, and that maybe Hell wasn't his personal choice.
As a character,he has so much depth, something that we rarely see in those kinda of books.Paige did an amazing job writing him, exactly as he should be.
Their romance was something between crawling back to you and never touch me again & THAT'S WHY,LADIES AND GENTLEMEN,I devoured this book.
We don't know if they are gonna love or hate each other till the last 70 %,and oh boy YOU WILL NEED TO LEARN!
Ending,I can say that this is one of my favorite genres that is so hard to write and even harder to find out,so trust me when I say Kat Paige did a 👌🏻 job

This book was in a class of its own. I loved the whole paranormal, comical romance that was just chef's kiss. So Lacey was jumping out a haunted house window after a paranormal investigation to which she was kind of thrust into the unknown. She was screaming and begging for help that's when Tonkitgol aka Kit heard and I guess u could say possessed her. They do forge a very amazing partnership which I thought was actually amazing. They were both very protective and grew together. I will say that I have never laughed as much as I did with this book it was that good. I do like how Lacey gave kit the nickname kitten kind of fitting. He was this really I guess it's a golden retriever style demon. I did love the whole guessing game though with kit cuz you never really knew what he was going to say or what he was going to do he was just like fly by the seat of your pants kind of demon. Overall I do think this was a unique storyline with an amazing twist and turns and comedic value. I will say that even though he was a jokester he was in a sense a touch her and see what happens. I did like the aspect when the author put in there that kit was a demon that was human at one time but he suffered a good bit of hell and then chose to become a demon I really like that side note of it. I really like this I'm interested to see if it progresses further. But I most certainly will be reading more Kat Paige books in the future.

I enjoyed this book so much!! 4.5/5 ⭐️ I’ve Got You Under My Skin is a quirky, witty, and surprisingly heartwarming paranormal romance where a ghost hunter gets possessed by a demon. Having the main characters share one body brings a whole new level to forced proximity and I was here for it!! The characters are easy to like and I found myself rooting for them very early on. Loved the humor, the tension, and the banter between Lacy & Kit 😍

I think the book was paced very well. The different paranormal and/or supernatural elements were captivating and intriguing and kept my interest throughout. We get to experience several ghost hunts with some friendly and some not-so-friendly spirits. There’s a supernatural underground traveling black market, a demon poker night, a seance, some spells performed in graveyards, and a couple scenes take place in Hell.

What to expect:
🥰 Loathe to Love
👀 Forced Proximity
🤭 Only one...body
💞 Opposites Attract
📚 FMC works in a bookstore
👻 Ghost Hunter x 😈 Demon
🐈‍⬛ Black Cat x 🐕 Golden Retriever vibes (complete with an actual black cat!)
🔥 Slow Burn
✨ Flashbacks
🪄 Magic, 🔮 Witches, & 🪦 Graveyards (oh my!)
🌶️ Open Door Spice (2.5 🌶️)

👻💕 ARC REVIEW - I’ve Got You Under My Skin by Kat Paige 💕👻

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨

Paranormal romances will always have my heart, but a ghost hunter x demon pairing? Say less! I was already in. And somehow, Kat Paige made it even better than I expected.

This was such an easy, addictive read - the kind you pick up “just for a few chapters” and suddenly you’re halfway through with a stupid smile on your face. It’s fun, it’s sweet, it’s a little spooky 👻

The tiny ghosts introducing each new chapter? Adorable. Obsessed. I loved that little detail so much - it added personality and charm in such a subtle way 🥰

And the dynamic? ELITE.
Grumpy x grumpy is criminally underrated. Watching two stubborn, emotionally constipated characters circle each other while clearly caring too much?? Delicious. The way he kept trying to protect her - even when it cost him - and the way she refused to give up on him, fought for him, chose him until the very end… yeah. That’s my weakness.

Also… hypothetically speaking…
Can I also be possessed by a cute demon? 😈
Asking for research purposes only (and hoping my bf doesn’t read this 🤭 ily 😘)

Thank you Kat and Love Notes PR for the ARC!

He’s a demon possessing her, with full control of her body. And she’s awake, fully aware, and extremely not having it. Oop.

Trust me when I say you NEED to pick this up because Kit, our naughty demon, is everything 😩😮‍💨 I don’t know about you, but I’ve definitely never read a book with such a cute and unique plot, and let me tell you, I am here for it!! I had the absolute time of my life reading this, and Kat has officially gained a new fangirl. Her writing is gorgeous, hilarious, and absolutely unputdownable. I honestly wished it was longer because I didn't want it to end!

I think the only thing that knocked this down a star for me is that whenever there’s a conflict, it gets resolved way too easily. I don’t mind a few hurdles or complications because it would have made the story feel a bit more real and satisfying!

Read this if you like:

👻 “I hate you” but in a way that sounds suspiciously like foreplay

🖤 Human x demon because opposites attract duh

👻 ONLY ONE BODY. Not one bed. ONE BODY. I will not elaborate

🖤 a slow burn so slow you start aging in real time fr

👻 flashbacks that would answer your questions but also break your heart

🖤 open door spice that would make you..🙈 but also 👁️🫦👁️ but also 😍🥹 because it was beautiful

ARC REVIEW

Antecdotal thoughts while reading
This will be my 1st paranormal type book, let's see how it goes....
Lacy - Ghost hunter type medium person? Ghostbuster??
Wait, wait, wait...your "re-entry into this world". Where are you from?
WTH just happened? Was that a ghost/spirit?
Not my idea of a good time, searching for ghosts.
Welp, at least you are being nice and respectful to the voice and not freaking out.
Wait, wait, wait....is this voice going to make her dinner or something??
Terms and Conditions from back in 2013??

I’ve Got You Under My Skin completely pulled me in from the very first chapter and didn’t let go.

Kat Paige has created a story that is both haunting and deeply emotional, blending supernatural elements with very real themes of grief, healing, and connection. The writing made everything feel vivid and personal, and there were multiple moments that genuinely made me emotional.

What stood out most to me was the character development. Watching the relationships evolve throughout the story felt natural and meaningful, and I found myself becoming more attached to the characters with every chapter. Kat Paige has a talent for making you feel exactly what the characters are feeling.

There were scenes that gave me goosebumps, scenes that broke my heart, and scenes that made me pause just to take everything in. By the second half of the book, I was so invested that I stopped taking notes entirely because I didn’t want to pull myself out of the story.

This book is atmospheric, emotional, and beautifully written. It explores darkness and vulnerability while still holding onto hope.

I’m so grateful to have received this as an ARC, and I would absolutely recommend it to readers who love emotional paranormal stories with strong character connections.

I've Got You Under My Skin by Kat Paige delivers a fresh and wildly entertaining twist on the demonic possession trope. Lacy Gordon is an amateur paranormal investigator who gets far more than EVPs and cold spots when a mysterious force sends her spiraling into her own mind, where she discovers she’s not alone.

Enter Tonkitgrol, aka Kit: a demon with centuries of torment behind him and just enough humanity left to make him dangerously compelling. The banter between Lacy and Kit is sharp, funny, and emotionally charged, turning their forced coexistence into an irresistible slow-burn connection. What starts as annoyance and interrogation evolves into trust, vulnerability, and a romance that feels both impossible and inevitable.

Paige skillfully balances humor, paranormal intrigue, and emotional depth. Kit’s tragic past adds weight to the story, while Lacy’s determination and curiosity keep the narrative lively and engaging. The paranormal reality show subplot adds a fun, modern twist that keeps the pacing brisk and entertaining.

At its core, this story is about identity, choice, and what it means to share a soul, literally and emotionally. The stakes feel real, the chemistry crackles, and the emotional dilemma at the heart of the story makes every moment count.

I’ve Got You Under My Skin by Kat Paige has such a fun and unique premise, especially with the whole demon possessing a ghost hunter situation. Lacy is an amateur paranormal investigator who ends up stuck sharing her body with Kit, a demon who’s doing everything he can to avoid going back to Hell, and it creates this constant tension between them.

Kit is not someone you can hate but someone you grow so intrigued. He comes across as someone is lost and trying to survive due to a teenage choice he regrets at his worse moments.

Lacy deals with grief the best way she knows how and that’s to avoid anyone who she could grow attached to. Due to everyone always leaving.

The banter between Kit and Lacy is funny and honestly surprisingly sweet. Watching their relationship slowly shift as they’re forced to trust each other was one of my favorite parts.

Being possessed brings a whole new meaning to forced proximity, and dealing with your emotions first hand.

Overall, I’ve Got You Under My Skin by Kat Paige is an emotional, slow burn paranormal romance with fantastic tension, strong character dynamics, and a relationship that feels vulnerable, complicated, and really hard not to get attached.

I found myself deeply involved and emotionally attached to this story almost immediately! Lacy and Kit are two of my most favorite characters I've read in quite some time 🥹

This takes you on a heart-warming, emotional journey as Lacy and Kit fight to defeat evil and take back their soul(s). I was simultaneously on the edge of my seat and incredibly cosy the whole time - at no given point did I know Kit's next move (in the best way). Kit is such a sweet, sweet golden retriever - I love the time and attention he paid to Lacy, and the way that he came to love and fight for himself, too.

I really loved the way the plot was wrapped up in a bow! Although there were times with suspense and sadness, the ending it was cosy and low-stakes in a fresh-baked bread right out of the oven type of way.

An unhinged, swoon-worthy, wild ride - and worth every. single. second. I devoured this in one sitting and was sad to close the book when it ended. It's not often I wish the story would keep going, but it was hard to say goodbye to Lace & Kitten.

Thank you so much to Love Notes PR for an eARC of this book!

thank you to the author and Love Notes PR for the arc!!! xxx

good lord i love paranormal romance !!!!
I loved Lacy’s strong character, how she genuinely thinks everyone leaves her on purpose and how that fit so well into her and Kit’s story. Her employment arc was also super fun. I also want to work in a bookstore (and then go on to do what she does after, obviously). I loved just how human she was, from tv show references, to caring how well she tended to a cat that didn’t belong to her. Thanks to her cousin, she is so adventurous when it comes to paranormal things, and is so driven when it comes to talking to ghosts. She was a wonderful main character to follow.

Getting more hints and clues about Kit’s past throughout the book was also super cool, because it gave me a chance to guess what kind of person he was, even though he’d totally be okay robbing a bank… maybe. at least it would be for Lacy’s benefit lol.

I loved the overall adventure that went on here, i loved the time they spent together, the reasons behind it… just everything was perfect. I also loved Matthias as a side character. He was such a lovely friend.

The pacing was just right, everything belonged in this book, and not one second of it felt rushed. I'm also obsessed with the little ghosts at the start of every chapter!! I've been loving paranormal romance this past year, so this was a perfect addition to my collection. Them sharing a body was so interesting as a concept, and I thought that the way the inside of Lacy's head was described was quite fun!

Special thanks to Kat and LoveNotes PR for kindly sending me a copy of this book!

This was such a fun read from start to finish. I loved the premise of what the book is about and I love a good paranormal romance. I also am a huge sucker for ghost hunting and love watching shows/movies with that sort of vibe. If you love a good slow burn, this is for you. Kit and Lacy have some amazing banter and I loved their chemistry together. They also share one body and that was a fun dynamic that I have never read before but really enjoyed it.

I think that this is a great year round read but I think it would be super fun to read around spooky season. Because Kit and Lacy shared one body, the spicy scenes were also unique but I love how they were done. Kit is like a big ole' golden retriever and it was fun to watch him fall for Lacy, all while possessing her body. Lacy is also a fun and cute quirky character and has a lot of charm about her. This was definitely the perfect read for February.

I received an ARC from Love Notes PR and Kat Paige in exchange for my review.
I can honestly say that I have never read a book quite like this one. The paranormal investigator background was a really unique twist and I found myself really pulled in by it. My heart ached for Lacy and the more I learned about her the more I was rooting for her. Kit was the exact opposite of what I expected and I loved the little tidbits we learned about his life as the story progressed. Lacy and Kit together were so much sweeter than I expected from a story that started out the way it did. Once I started reading I really couldn’t stop and I finished it in less than a day. The pacing was great and it didn’t feel like there were any lulls that dragged on. One of the overall themes of this book, aside from grief, is the idea of right and wrong and what makes someone morally grey. It was well done and painted in a much more positive light than I’ve seen before. Overall, I found this to be a fun, easy read that had some darker elements that added depth.

3.5 stars⭐️

thank you to love notes pr for another arc (and kate)!!💌

as a sam and colby girlie (iykyk) i absolutely loved this!👻 i don’t typically gravitate towards paranormal romances but this one had me hooked from the very beginning. lacy and kit’s banter was hilarious. i had a lot of fun reading this! i was constantly wanting to know what happed next.

this started off very strong for me, the first half was easily 4 stars. however towards the end i lost a little traction. i typically love happy ending but the ending felt a little far fetched and i think it would have made for a better ending if kit was forced to start a new life with lacy and not be reunited with his family and friends.

i do want to give the author props for the only one body trope. i was really skeptical about it going in but it was so well done!

overall, this was a great read and has made me want to dabble into more paranormal romances.

thanks again for the arc!🖤🏚️

I’ve Got You Under My Skin was a fun read, sometimes funny.
Unfortunately, at moments the book truly felt long with a lack of rhythm, especially around the end where there wasn’t a true conflict anymore. There were also a lot of references to pop culture. I loved the regular Friends watching, as an habit building between both MCs, but there were so many more that it felt too much for me, but if you like that kind of thing you should have a great time with it.
I loved the plot’s originality, and how it allowed a super different way for the MCs to build intimacy and get to know each other. That also felt a beautiful metaphor for Lacy who builds walls around herself because of her grief.
The resulting romance was pretty unexpected with all these differences, resulting in one of a kind story.

Honestly, this book was amazing. This was my introduction into paranormal romance. I was a bit nervous going into this book because I really wasn't 100% sure what to expect. I loved that it was a Book that gave you happy ending all the way around for everybody involved. I do wish that we could have had more kit moments where he shared his point of view. Overall I would have liked to have seen more of like a 50-50 in the viewpoint. I felt like it was more of like a 10% kit. 90% per viewpoint and I it just overall it was amazing. But I just like I said I kind of wish it had been a bit of a equal split or as much as it could have been. I think that we needed more of an equal split. I do have questions about characters though that I'm hoping maybe I'll get answers to in her other books.
