Another five-star Dragon Masters adventure from our family! 🐉❤️

We were so excited to jump into the newest book in the Dragon Masters series, and the adventure with the Ruby Dragon definitely did not disappoint!

One of my favorite parts of reading this series with my kids is watching them become more and more involved in the story. My oldest daughter especially loved making predictions throughout this one about what she thought was really going on—and she was SO excited when her predictions turned out to be right in the end! There’s something pretty magical about watching a kid put all the clues together and realize, “I KNEW IT!” 😂

I also really loved how this book didn’t just give us another fun adventure—it started setting things up for what’s coming next. It definitely feels like we’re at the beginning of a bigger storyline that will continue through the next couple of books, and now we absolutely cannot wait to find out what happens!

The Dragon Masters series continues to be such a hit with our family. Five enthusiastic stars from my kids! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Another fun installment in a long time favorite series at our house.

Drake and Bo set out to help save the kidnapped royal family (THERE IS A BABY!!) and we get a new villain, a visit to favorite Dragon Master friend, Jean, and a totally new wizard and dragons.

I continue to enjoy reading these books (we re-read them ALL last summer and it was great fun) and I know some day Tracy West will retire the series or we will actually grow out if it, but neither of those things have happened yet!

Another lovely addition to the Dragon Masters series! My children were hooked from the first chapter title. I love the new villain. She's original and interesting (quite the feat at 32 books in!). It was good to see the original four Dragon Masters tackling problems together again. The only minor qualm I had was with a riddle that was offered about halfway through the book. It was a bit cliche, and even my 8yo figured it out before Drake and Bo. But overall, this book was everything we love about the Dragon Masters series!

My 8yo and I have loved this series and were excited to read this next grouping of adventures for Drake, Worm and the others. This is the first in what will be (at least) three interconnected installments within the larger series in which three gem-inspired dragons (Ruby, Diamond and Emerald) help defeat an evil fairy Agrona who has captured King Roland and his family. More creatures! More complexity to the story elements! This was a great illustrated chapter book for early readers who love fantasy.
