Welcome back to The Berry Home, where the cappuccinos are frothy, the pastries are dangerous, and Kylie Berry’s “slow week” lasts approximately six minutes.

When a college student working at Kylie's café is killed, the shock ripples through town—and suspicion lands fast and hard on one target. Everyone seems convinced the tragedy was meant for someone else… and that the wrong girl paid the price.

As rumors spread and tempers flare, Kylie finds herself staring down a tangled mess, including:

🧐 An unusual Support Group
📚 A glamorous dean
🎭 And way too many people with a grudge and a polished public smile

The deeper Kylie digs, the clearer it becomes that nothing on this campus is what it seems.

With her café closed, danger escalating, and her instincts in overdrive, Kylie teams up with her best friend to follow the clues wherever they lead.

Kylie + Zoey = amateur-sleuth chaos perfection: coffee runs, campus snooping, and that familiar “why are we always the ones finding bodies?” panic.

This laugh-out-loud Kylie Berry small-town women's fiction cozy romantic mystery is page-turning with exceptional world-building and characters who are amateur sleuths/female detectives, Kylie/Zoey, who are resilient, intelligent, captivating, and realistic. Their journey is enthralling with a berry caffeinated crime, humor, amateur chaos perfection/drama, coffee runs, campuus snooping, lattes, lies, an unusual Support Group, a glamorous dean, way too many people with a grudge and a polished public smile, danger, suspense that will leave readers on the edge of their seats, rumors spread, tempers flare, frothy cappucianos/abundance of decadent food and desserts, heartfelt emotions/emotional depth, action, adventure, and more. I recommend reading this book by an extraordinary author who knows how to captivate her readers' hearts and attention with a berry caffeinated crime and a humorous Kylie Berry mystery that is sure to transport readers into a world that is wildly humorous, intriguing, scrumptious, and unforgettable.

It's scary how much the world is changing and with all the technology out there, it proves you can't always believe what you think you know. This is entertaining if reading it in a book but terrifying if it is happening to you and to be honest I could easily believe it is already happening. I really enjoyed it as a story and think it is my favourite in the series so far. The level of manipulation and the twists involved kept you guessing as to who was involved. The mystery moved at a fast pace as they learnt everybody's secret and the way it was all connected must have given the author a headache keeping it straight. It's a good job she is a talented author because it means the reader has to just sit back and let it all unfold. I liked the characters, even the ones you were supposed to hate and I can't wait for the next book.
When Kylie is slammed in the coffee shop with unexpected customer, she calls in reinforcements. It's not the best time to try out a new coffee machine but not even she could have predicted it would kill a member of staff. Although things are not what they seem and it turns out the victim might have been trying to cause harm herself. She was just one of a number of members belonging to a support group and each member had a reason to hate Emily, another member of her staff. Who was the target and if the right person didn't die, will they try again? Kylie and Zoey set out to find out what Emily could have done to cause so many people to hate her. Can they figure it out before anybody else gets hurt?I

A busy night at The Berry Home turns deadly when one of Kylie’s servers, Jessica, uses a faulty coffee maker. Soon all fingers are pointing at Emily as the culprit. In fact, the support group gathered in the cafe are all supposed victims of Emily. Kylie can’t believe she’d been such a poor judge of character about Emily, so she sets off with Zoey to investigate at the college that links Jess, Emily, and the rest of the group. Kylie is surprised to see Brad working uncover there as well. Soon there’s another victim and an attack on Kylie. Zoey’s cyber skills turn up some surprising information that changes everything. Will Kylie put it all together before the real victim is killed?

The 15th Kylie Berry mystery is definitely a tangled tale of manipulation, revenge, and victimization. Just when you think you’ve figured it out, new clues emerge. The true victim might just break your heart, especially because it seems there was no reason behind it. Suspects litter the case and Kylie and Zoey have their hands full running around campus tracking them down. Jack comes up with a plan to keep Kylie’s cafe going as a mobile operation while it’s closed down for the investigation. Gregson moves in with Kylie to keep her safe, but of course she still gets caught in the killer’s crosshairs. An unlikely savior appears, and Kylie solves the case. But now there’s big changes in the air with Kylie and her boyfriends. No matter what series of hers I’m reading, I’ve yet to be disappointed by an A.R. Winters book.

A collage student working for Kylie is killed. Two collage students are working for Kylie. They are at a meeting where the discussion is a third student in a large support group of students from the college. It seems they all feel they have been wronged by her. Unaware of why a quiet girl could be the cause of so much trouble, that trouble lands itself in Kylie's cafe'. One student, trying to be nice, decides making a coffee as a piece offering would be nice. Some how she is electrocuted. The cafe' is closed down and Kylie and Zoey go into investigation mode uncovering a whirlwind of troubles. They have to work fast when a second girl is killed and the kicker is, both girls were killed in error, they were not the target. A suspenseful page turning, nail biting book!

Another winner!

From one of my favorite authors, comes the 15th wonderful book in the Kylie Berry series.

A student working at The Berry Home is killed, and Kylie (along with Zoey and Kylie's boyfriends - in different capacities) search for answers.

It's a rollicky romp, with twists and turns, and the always delightful characters and lots of humor. Well written, fun, and hard to put down...it's simply typical of this author's books. Every one I read, I am left wanting the next one. I'm ready for #16 !!!.

Caffeinated woes as the coffee maker blows. Well it’s at fault and Kylie’s cafe is in the frame but where exactly does the blame lie when one of the college student workers has to die.But was she in fact the unintended target. If so ,who’s next and what will spark it? Kylie and Zoey are of the mind ,why are they embroiled in crimes of this kind…Great writing by A.A.Winters who always gives us something to get our teeth into. Lattes ,lies and a surprise or three. Mercy me ,the Berry Cafe is in uproarious condition and a somewhat inglorious indisposition. Well written and fun ,I rather enjoyed this one.

Kylie finds herself in a tangled web when an explosion at her bakery that seemed meant for her kills someone else. As she untangles more and more details, a darker picture emerges where another one of her employees seemed to be the target or was she? The motive may be darker than anything she ever imagined and makes readers question the mind of humanity.

Emotionally darker than most of her cozies in this series but you can’t seem to put it down.

I was so excited to see there was another Kylie Berry cozy mystery. After a murder happens at the cafe, Kylie has to investigate to find the killer. With the help from her BFF Zoey, they are always sure to find out who the murderer is. I enjoyed how they investigated suspects at the nearby college. This book was fast paced and entertaining. There were several twists and turns all the way to the end of the book. The surprises really made you rethink who the killer could be. This was a page turner and I couldn’t put it down!

'Kylie + Zoey = amateur-sleuth chaos perfection: coffee runs, campus snooping, and that familiar “why are we always the ones finding bodies?” panic.'

The characters drove the storyline and they were so very appealing and likeable and quirky and mysterious things complicated. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced. World building continues to shine and excel. Overall a great addition to the series. Enjoyed immensely and highly recommend.

When the college student working for Kylie at the café is killed, Kylie and her best friend Zoey go into investigation mode. Rumors are flying! Was she really the target? There's plenty of suspects and things on campus just don't add up. With the death of a second student, one thing is certain-the danger is escalating! Can Kylie and Zoey find the killer? Great characters and a fun mystery make this the perfect read! There's enough twists and turns to keep you guessing until the very end!

This is the best cozy murder mystery I’ve ever read. This was sweetly intense and kept me reading. I loved the little cafe. When the college student is murdered, Kylie and Zoey go in the hunt to find out who did it. I was on the edge of my seat playing detective myself along the way lol. And I’m not afraid to admit that I was wrong. But I loved the thrill of trying to find the culprit. Great story, well written, and I can’t wait to read more.

Caffeinated Crime

Another great Kylie Berry Mystery. Kylie sure does know how to create the perfect mystery. It was very interesting to see how everything was going on and how she and her sidekick were able to make it all unfold. There’s mystery, danger, investigation and chaos. A mysterious coffee maker shows up at the cafe and ends up being the death of her. Great job by winters!

This is the first book I’ve read by this author, but it won’t be the last. Kylie Berry owns The Berry Home cafe in Camden Falls, Kentucky and has a cat named Sage. She got a free cappuccino machine that ended up killing one of her college student employees the first time it was used, and a second employee was killed in the dorm. Despite the twists and turns, she figured out who did it. I received this great cozy mystery from Book Sprout and am leaving an honest review.

A Caffeinated Easy Read

This one of the the fastest books of the series to read. In fact the whole story took place in around two days. Some of the writing style seemed to aim for younger generations “sus” which hasn’t been seen in the prior books. Some of the killings the reader could guess whom did it yet still left the reader interested especially with the final reveal.
