This book is for people who feel like they’re not performing well at work—or want to level up. It offers very practical tips on how to take notes, participate in meetings, facilitate discussions, and communicate effectively with your boss. One idea I found especially fresh was using your notebook sideways to organize thoughts more clearly.

What bothered me, though, was the use of disrespectful second-person pronouns like “omae” and “anta” when referring to the author himself during his junior days. Even if it reflects a real experience, it made me think I’d hate working in such an environment. A more neutral term like “○○-kun” would’ve felt more professional.
