This was like reading 2 books for the price of one…. It starts off with her secret stalker and the big plan (interactive by the way; I literally nearly fell out of the bed) and then it alllllll gets sexy 🥵🥵🥵

This story completely consumed me.
Blending mystery, obsession, and intense kink exploration into a narrative I couldn't put down. I loved the constant sense of unease, as every time I thought I’d solved the puzzle, another twist shifted the ground beneath me. It was a masterclass in suspense that kept me guessing about everyone’s true motives until the very end.
The immersion was total, defined by palpable tension and the thrill of forbidden exploration. I particularly enjoyed watching Sophie step out of her comfort zone, as her personal evolution felt genuine and well-earned. The chemistry was undeniably electric, yet it always served the plot, deepening the emotional connection and heightening the stakes as the central mystery unraveled.
Most of all, I was captivated by the sheer, obsessive devotion the male leads showed toward Sophie. That specific dynamic, paired with genuine surprises and plenty of heat, made this a truly memorable reading experience.
It was an incredibly fun, addictive read that left me thinking about the characters and all their secrets!

ALC Review (Audiobook) 🎧 - Just got the ALC!!
This was such a ridiculously spicy audiobook, and the multicast narration made it even better! Sophie’s story had me hooked as she got pulled into the mystery surrounding her masked admirer and the men who had their eyes on her. I loved the why-choose dynamic and how each of the MMCs brought their own kinks while still being completely focused on Sophie and what makes her happy. The suspense kept me curious, but the spice was definitely the main event, and the narrators brought so much personality and chemistry to every character. The interactive audio was also such a fun surprise and made certain scenes feel even more immersive. Between the mystery, the twists, the chemistry, and all that spice, this was such a fun listen from beginning to end!
It was lovely coming back to this book again!

As both a sensitivity reader and an incredibly grateful early reader, I can honestly say that The Secret Stalker exceeded every expectation I had.
Ruby Skye has created a story that is equal parts suspenseful, addictive, emotional, and unbelievably hot. From the very beginning, I was completely immersed in Sophie's journey. Every new character had me questioning their motives, second-guessing my assumptions, and trying to work out where the story was heading. I was convinced I had things figured out more than once, and every single time Ruby proved me wrong.
One of my favourite things about this book was how cleverly the mystery unfolds. The tension builds at exactly the right pace, with just enough breadcrumbs to keep you guessing without ever giving too much away. It kept me engaged from start to finish and had me constantly changing my mind about who I could trust.
The characters were another standout for me. Every interaction felt purposeful, every relationship brought something different to the story, and I found myself becoming attached to far more characters than I expected. Mack had my heart in a chokehold 😉. Ruby has a way of creating characters who feel layered and real, making it impossible not to become invested in their journeys.
What I continue to love most about this series is its approach to exploring desires, boundaries, and self-discovery. Rather than presenting things through a lens of judgement, Ruby allows her characters (and readers) the space to learn about themselves and decide what works for them. It encourages curiosity, communication, and open-mindedness in a way that feels authentic and refreshing.
The spice was phenomenal, but what impressed me most was how seamlessly it was woven into the story. The intimate moments didn't just exist for shock value, they deepened relationships, revealed character growth, and strengthened the emotional impact of the book.
And then there are the twists. Without spoiling a single thing, all I'll say is that I audibly gasped more than once. The reveals felt earned, satisfying, and OH MY GOD THE SURPRISE! This was a divine gift and done so cleverly to immerse readers further into Sophie’s character and it worked a TREAT. 😮💨
The Secret Stalker is the kind of book that keeps you reading "just one more chapter" until suddenly it's 2am and you've finished the entire thing.

The Secret Stalker, book 4 in the Clarendon Playmates Kink series
FMC Sophie has been working at the Clarendon for a few years now, but in just one week, her world is turned upside down. She agrees to be a sub for an online masked dom, and agrees to take on some jobs that he has instructed her to, only to find out these are clients she has had before. Desperate to find out who the masked dom is, she continues to play his game, and will soon learn the secret behind this sexy stalker.
I really enjoyed this story, and the way that the "stalker" designed this master plan to get what he has always wanted. Sophie is a little nervous at first, not knowing who the masked man is, but I like that she is looking for some excitement in her life, so takes the risk. It seems a little suspect initially, but really, what can someone do that is just online? With each job that Sophie takes, she gets one step closer to her masked man.
I was so intrigued to find out who this guy is! And I would have never guessed who it turns out to be. There is even an additional player to the game, that is not expected for either the masked man, or Sophie. I kind of had an idea of who he might be, but was not positive until the reveal! But I truly love the angle that the stalker himself even has a secret stalker watching everything going on between the masked man and Sophie.
The elaborate plan that is made for Sophie, seems like so much considering she may say no. I think it really shows the commitment for her.
If you enjoy a slow reveal, why choose, stalker romance, than this one is for you!

This follows Sophie, who has worked at the exclusive Clarendon Club for nearly three years, balancing her role in the café while also taking on more explicit jobs and strictly following the club’s rules. But things begin to shift when an unknown stalker starts seeking her out, boundaries begin to blur, and the rules she’s always followed start to bend. What could go wrong.
I got the opportunity to read this early, and I’m so grateful because I just love the way Ruby writes her spice. Out of all the books so far, this one felt the most thrilling to me because of the forbidden elements sneaking around, breaking the rules, and that little sprinkle of taboo woven into the storyline.
This is very much a positive kink exploration story that’s written in a way that feels fun, safe, and addictive to read. I loved all the men and the way they came together when it came to Sophie. Reading this was such an immersive experience too, especially with the soft dom videos throughout that genuinely had me blushing while reading along.
Then towards the end, when the plot started escalating, I loved how everything shifted into making sure Sophie felt safe and cared for even though they are challenging circumstances. These men would do absolutely anything to protect her and take her mind off of the pain and to somewhere safe.
What really makes these stories work for me is the devotion. The way these men cater to her wants and needs, how completely obsessed they are and how much care goes into every interaction it just scratches an itch in my brain perfectly. It may not be realistic but it’s fictional romance.
Lastly, I will never forget one absolutely delicious scene in this that had that sprinkle of taboo energy. That hand on the neck moment was downright illegal I was screaming. I genuinely can’t wait to see what comes next.

I LOVED The Secret Club (book #1 in the Clarendon series), and I think that gave me really high expectations that just weren’t met in this story. It was a very easy read!
This was still spicy — especially the punishment scene — but the book just didn’t capture my attention as intensely. There was more mystery in this, we are wondering who these men are, and what in the world is going on? That situation did make me interested enough to continue.

How did the speed of the story feel? I am finding it hard to have an opinion on this. It felt fast in some ways, progressing from sex scene to sex scene but I also felt like it was slow but because nothing much happened other than sex scenes...I guess medium to fast?
When mains are first on page together: she’s on page pretty quick with at least one of the heroes but there are a number of them and some take a few chapters to interact with
Cliffhanger: No, this ends with a happily ever after for the mains

This is fine alone. (this is part of The Clarendon Playmates Kink Series and the author states that Rosie’s story is books 1-3 but you don’t need to read them to enjoy this one. I didn’t read it and found it fine alone)

I think if you want a sex focused M/F/M/M/M romance all focused around the heroine this is definitely one you should give a go!
As it was though, I found myself getting a bit bored. There was some mystery in the beginning, but without me really knowing the characters, combined with the instalust for them all, I found myself just not intrigued by it. There’s a lot of sex scenes, most of the book goes from scene to scene and the in between just didn’t deliver the connection I found myself wanting between them all. I really felt like I didn’t know anything about any of them.
I also wasn’t in love with how the ending worked out. The slight build up of some of the men’s father hanging over their heads was a bit interesting but then the carryout of the end was a bit weird to me and almost anticlimactic?

How did the speed of the story feel? I am finding it hard to have an opinion on this. It felt fast in some ways, progressing from sex scene to sex scene but I also felt like it was slow but because nothing much happened other than sex scenes...I guess medium to fast?
When mains are first on page together: she’s on page pretty quick with at least one of the heroes but there are a number of them and some take a few chapters to interact with
Cliffhanger: No, this ends with a happily ever after for the mains

This is fine alone. (this is part of The Clarendon Playmates Kink Series and the author states that Rosie’s story is books 1-3 but you don’t need to read them to enjoy this one. I didn’t read it and found it fine alone)

This was an amazing book and such an immersive experience, from the audiobook being amazing with the multicast narration, to the little videos we got from Mack 🥵
Ruby Skye did a fantastic job bringing this story to life, from the characters to their introductions and how everything played out. The mystery had me on edge trying to figure out who Mack was, and who the stalker was. I'll admit I had my guesses... but I wasn't truly set on who each person was since I had a few guesses 😂
One thing I loved is how everyone was obsessed with Sophie. They were all in with her from the beginning and didn't want to play with anyone else except her. They enjoyed their various kinks and played into each other's obsessions to give her exactly what she needed and what she craved.
There was heat, spice and total love and care for her, and it was truly a fun read/listen.
I hated the boys dad though. That D-bag can rot in hell!
The audiobook was fantastic too! The narrators were phenomenal. There were a few new-to-me narrators, but they did an amazing job bringing Sophie and her men to life!

I just finished The Secret Stalker and absolutely devoured it! It was a fun, spicy romantic read, and I loved every minute of it.
The FMC, Sophie, works at the Clarendon, a golf course by day that transforms into a secret kink club by night. She's bubbly, openminded, and starts to feel like something is missing from her life. The people who care about her begin to notice, and they set a plan in motion to help her find the happiness she's been searching for, leading to some very unexpected surprises.
I loved each of the MMCs, as they all brought something unique to the group dynamic. I have to say, though, Mack was my favourite. He seemed like such a sweetheart, and when Tye was added to the mix, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed his character as well.
I'm not sure if there are any plans for it, but I feel like Tye and Mack's father deserves a book of his own. He was mentioned briefly, but not in enough detail to satisfy my curiosity. I'd love to learn more about what he does behind the scenes and what shaped him into the person he is.
I'll definitely be checking out more of this author's books!

I always hoped we would get a book all about Sophie and wow it met all my expectations!! I am obsessed with this series. Loved the secrets, the suspense, the online aspect! The added interactive element was a surprise too, never seen that in a book before!! If you are looking for a fun spicy read, this series is for you.

DNF 60%.
I am a BIG fan of this authors works, I loved the first 3 books in this series and have re read them multiple times since they came out. I have also enjoyed both other books by this author and find them interesting, fun and well written. Unfortunately this book was not for me at all- and let me tell you why:
- the “interactive” aspect of this book ruined it for me completely. For those wondering what it means by interactive, it is a webpage at the end of chapters where there are videos of a masked man acting as though he is Mack from the book. It is so low production value, the mask looks like a retro Batman mask, it barely covers his face and it is SO cringey. I made the mistake of going onto the webpage thinking it might be additional content but as soon as the video popped up it gave me the ick so bad it ruined the book. I didn’t watch anymore. Every time I read about Mack who is a main character I get the ick and it makes me judge Sophie (the fmc) because why would she find someone so cringey attractive? The book felt like it was trying to sell me online Doms, as it kept mentioning how great a concept it was? Not sure if they have teamed up with Mr cringe to try and sell his service, but it made the book feel like an advertisement?
- the thing I enjoyed about the first 3 books is that it felt fun and was so interesting seeing all the clients “interests”. Due to the storyline of this book you barely get that as it only really focuses on Sophie and her men. So it’s just a story about her secret admirers. Which was kinda boring.
- she tells everyone not to break the rules but she continues to break them significantly herself? I know she acknowledges this but it’s really annoying.
- she falls for these men like instantly and makes it feel like there’s no chemistry. She mentioned in the previous books how much she loved one of her clients and his interests, and briefly mentioned another but she really emphasized only one of these men and so in this book it felt like she was “yeah okay why not”.
-no build up or tension, Sophie was a boring character in this book and didn’t seem to carry on her more bubbly fun demenour from the previous books.
- the fmc also made it seem like she didn’t care about book 1-3 FMC despite them being really good friends in those books? She literally says in this book about how you just click with someone you meet like lost souls ABOUT THE NEW GUY SHE WORKS WITH?! and she casually says she’s looking for a new lunch buddy but it made it seem like she was faking the friendship of the first books.
I genuinely have nothing positive to say about this book. Which is a shame because I lvoe this author, love the previous books and I am a sucker for why choose

I had a really good time reading the fourth installment in the Clarendon Club series by Ruby Skye.
This one felt a little different from the previous books because it focused less on discovery and more on Sophie's relationship.
I love an obsessed man, and this book absolutely delivered on that front... and then some with 4 obsessed men. 😏 Some of the scenes were incredibly hot, and the chemistry between the characters kept me turning the pages.
That said, Sophie isn't Roxy for me. Roxy is still my favorite character in the series, and I cannot wait to read the third book centered around her.

Wow!! Once again Ruby has treated my ears to the most spicy listen and I loved every minute of it
This follows Sophie one of the best employee's at the Clarendon Golf Club especially in the Playmates part of her contract. She has regular clients that love her, and also finds a new admirer online that causes her to break a Clarendon rule. Little does she know her online admirer and his friends have already chosen Sophie as theirs. As I said this is spicy hot! With each member having their own kinks that Sophie is all to happy to fulfil and their biggest collective kink is making Sophie happy. She is one lucky lucky lady. This was the hottest narration and the multicast narration brought every character to life in the best way.

This is Sophie’s book and I enjoyed it parts of it

There is a lot of repetition and I just couldn’t get past it. Unfortunately It just never fully clicked for me. I wasn’t connecting the way I wanted to, and I found myself struggling to stay engaged.
Lately, I’ve been trying to be more intentional with my reading and stick to books that truly pull me in and spark that can’t-stop-reading feeling. As much as I wanted this one to be that book, it just wasn’t the right fit for me at this time.
I’d still encourage giving it a try, it might hit completely different for you.

I was sent an eARC of this book, and I am grateful for the opportunity to read it. This review reflects my honest opinions.
The Secret Stalker is the fourth installment in Ruby Skye's Clarendon Playmates Kink Series. I have not read the previous books, but I did not feel I needed to understand the overall premise. I appreciated that, as "interconnected standalones" can sometimes be more interconnected than expected.
This story follows Sophie, a playmate at the Clarendon Golf Club. The first half of the novel focuses on uncovering the identity of Sophie's stalkers, with the reveal occurring around the midpoint. The second half leans more heavily into the reverse harem romance, culminating in a final confrontation.
For me, the characters lacked depth. I wanted to learn more about Sophie's personality, as well as those of the male main characters. To be frank, I struggled to identify defining personality traits for any of them. They were clearly obsessed with one another, but I never fully understood why. Was Sophie especially kind or compassionate beyond the scope of her job? Was Mack funny? Did any of the relationships develop because of shared experiences or meaningful conversations? I never felt like I got those answers. Instead, I came away knowing far more about the characters' kinks than who they were as people. While that may have been the author's intention, the romance didn't have the emotional impact I was hoping for because I never felt invested in the characters themselves.
I also want to be clear that this is not intended as kink-shaming. This is simply a matter of personal preference. For me, the fact that the brothers are biologically related, combined with some of their scenes together and the scene involving their father at the end, felt too incest-adjacent and ultimately pulled me out of the story. I also felt that the final confrontation could have been handled differently. I was left wondering how the father discovered the relationship between Mack, Tye, Flynn, and Rory and Sophie, as the story never seemed to address it.
Overall, I think readers who enjoyed Den of Vipers may also enjoy this book. Likewise, readers looking for a romance that prioritizes spice over character development or plot may have a very different reading experience from mine. While this book ultimately wasn't for me, I appreciate the opportunity to read it and recognize that every book finds its audience!

I had the absolute privilege of alpha reading Sophie's story, so yes, I'm biased when it comes to Ruby Skye's books—but I'm also honest. And when I say she's an absolute little ripper, I mean it.
The Secret Stalker is everything I've come to expect from the Clarendon Playmates Series, but somehow Ruby has managed to elevate it even further.
Yes, there is spice.
A lot of spice.
The kind of spice that makes you suddenly aware that your family can see your facial expressions while you're reading.
The kind of spice that has you checking you've still got battery life because putting the book down simply isn't an option.
But for me, what makes Ruby's books stand out is always the characters.

Apparently, my detective skills need some work because I was CONVINCED, I had things figured out multiple times... and Ruby Skye just kept moving the pieces around. 😂
The Secret Stalker was such a fun, ridiculously spicy and surprisingly immersive experience. The mystery surrounding Sophie and her masked admirer kept this ticking along beautifully because there was always another question sitting underneath the one, I thought I'd answered.
What really worked for me was Sophie herself. I loved watching her step outside her comfort zone and explore what she actually wants. There's a real sense of curiosity and self-discovery throughout the story, and I appreciated that the kink exploration isn't treated with judgement. There's an emphasis on communication, boundaries and discovering what works for you, which gave Sophie's journey more emotional weight.
And then we have the men.
THE DEVOTION. 😮💨
They're all bringing something different to Sophie's life, but that collective obsession with making sure she's happy, cared for and getting what she needs? Yep. That scratched a very specific fictional-romance itch in my brain.
Also: Mack.
Mack had my heart in a chokehold. That is all. 😂
The mystery was probably my favourite part outside of the relationship dynamics. I kept changing my theories about identities and motivations, and there were reveals toward the end that genuinely made me gasp. I love when a book lets me build a theory confidently before cheerfully kicking the legs out from underneath it.
I listened to the audiobook and the multicast narration made everything even better. There were several new-to-me voices in the cast, and they brought so much individuality to Sophie and her men.
But the REALLY clever addition was the interactive element. You're directed to a website connected to the story where there are character videos, and I haven't experienced anything quite like that before. It took an already immersive audiobook and suddenly extended the fictional world beyond my headphones. Such a cool idea.

Well this was hot and filthy 👀🔥
The Secret Stalker follows Sophie, who works at the Clarendon Golf Club and also works as one of the Playmates. Things have become a bit boring for her though, until she starts getting emails from a mystery man who knows a hell of a lot more about her than he probably should.
Instead of doing the sensible thing and ignoring him, Sophie decides to play along. Obviously. And before long she’s following his instructions, taking on different jobs and trying to work out who the hell is behind it all.
I had so much fun trying to figure out who Mack was. I had my guesses, changed my mind about 400 times and was suspicious of basically everyone at some point. And I got it wrong and right haha!
And then we have Sophie’s men. I loved all of them! They all had very different personalities and very different kinks, so there was A LOT happening, but it worked. These men were also completely obsessed with Sophie. Half the time they were plotting something filthy and the other half they were making sure she was happy.
And YES, this is spicy. Very spicy. Ruby definitely introduced me to a couple of things I hadn’t come across before and there were moments where I was sitting there thinking well… that’s new 👀
The audio was SO good too. With this many men, multicast duet was definitely the way to go. Zaria Blackwood, Danny Burgh, Tristan Blue, Vincent Shabah, Sean Masters and Anthony Davis did such a good job with it. I loved having a different voice for each character because it made it so much easier to follow who was who, but it also made the whole thing so much hotter. Some of those scenes in audio… jeepers! 🔥
This was fun, kinky, a little bit WTF at times and exactly the kind of why choose audio that works for me. If you like obsessive men, stalker vibes, masked men, kink exploration, mystery and a ridiculous amount of spice, definitely give this one a go.

The Secret Stalker completely pulled me into its dark, mysterious, and addictive story from the very beginning.
Sophie works for an exclusive adult club where she accepts online assignments through a virtual platform. One day, she receives an anonymous message from someone who quickly becomes her mysterious stalker. He asks her to become his virtual submissive, giving her tasks and challenges that she agrees to complete through the club’s services.
As Sophie follows his instructions, she begins meeting several clients, unaware that each encounter is bringing her closer to uncovering the truth behind the man hiding behind the screen. The mystery kept me guessing because every new revelation completely changed what I thought I knew.
One of my favorite parts of the story was discovering that the person communicating with Sophie online wasn’t who she believed he was. The plot twists just kept coming, and every answer revealed an even bigger secret. I honestly didn’t see some of those twists coming.
What starts as a dangerous game slowly evolves into a complicated polyamorous relationship involving four men who become completely devoted to Sophie. Watching their relationships develop while all the hidden truths came to light made the story incredibly entertaining.
I also loved how the author balanced the mystery with the romance. It wasn’t just about the attraction between the characters there were secrets, deception, suspense, and plenty of unexpected moments that kept the story moving.
The ending wrapped everything up beautifully, giving all five characters the happy ending they deserved while staying true to the unconventional relationship they built together.

We follow Sophie as she continues working at Clarendon Club, where her life starts to feel increasingly unsettled when she realizes she may be being watched. What begins as an uneasy feeling quickly turns into something harder to ignore, especially as she becomes more curious about the mysterious man. As Sophie slowly opens herself up to exploring this connection, she starts to uncover that his interest in her is far from simple attraction and he might not be the only one.
The How
This book is written from multiple POV’s. The writing kept me engaged and it’s an easy, fast read, but the structure felt a bit overloaded. There was definetly more spice than plot. There were multiple characters and storylines competing for attention, which didn’t exactly work for me.

There were too many moving parts, which made the plot feel scattered. I really didn’t like Tye’s kink exploration, and the “punishment” dynamic involving his father felt weird and really random.

I really enjoyed this one! After reading another book in Ruby Skye's Clarendon Playmates series, I knew I was in for plenty of spice and kink exploration, and The Secret Stalker definitely delivered.

This is a very spicy why choose romance with stalker vibes, mystery, hidden identities, and plenty of kink exploration. I had so much fun trying to figure out who was behind the messages, and the mystery added an extra layer that kept me curious throughout.
And once again, Ruby Skye managed to introduce me to some new things I definitely hadn't encountered in my previous reading adventures. 😂 This series does not hold back when it comes to exploring different kinks and dynamics, and I genuinely enjoyed seeing where the story would go next.

And once again, Ruby Skye managed to introduce me to some new things I definitely hadn't encountered in my previous reading adventures. 😂 This series does not hold back when it comes to exploring different kinks and dynamics, and I genuinely enjoyed seeing where the story would go next.
If you're looking for something spicy, kinky, a little mysterious, and completely unapologetic about what it is, this was a fun read!

The way he orchestrates this whole plan to get what he’s always wanted… I was entertained. I was invested. I was suspicious of everybody.
And just when I thought I had it figured out, Ruby said “actually, no you don’t.” There’s an extra player in the mix someone watching the watcher and that twist took me out. I loved the layered mystery and the way everything snaps together at the end.
Secret Stalker is fast, spicy, twisty, and just messy enough to keep you hooked. Ruby Skye knows how to build tension without spoiling the fun, and this one delivered.

I loved meeting Sophie’s character in the first series The Secret Club and could not wait for her to have her own book and this DID.NOT.DISAPPOINT!! I love this world that Ruby has created- just a normal golf country club with a secret kink club membership with playmates ready to fulfill every members fantasy.These books are high spice but also have so much character connections and emotions. I felt myself rooting for each character and loving them! I loved the mystery of who’s who and how that played out. I had my suspicions but even I was surprised to learn how two of the MMCs knew each other. These men are obsessed but in the best way. Sophie is such a fun and kind hearted character. I really enjoyed her banter with Casey her coworker it felt so authentic. This book is deliciously good and I did not want it to be over! I really enjoy the Clarendon Playmates Kink series and hope we get more!
