Sophie is coasting through life—everything feels beige, predictable, safe. She doesn’t realise she’s losing her sparkle…
But someone does.
Someone has been watching her.
Waiting.
The first email feels harmless… Until it says things no stranger should know. Until he starts asking for more.
It’s risky. It’s reckless. It’s exactly what she didn’t know she needed.
Throwing caution to the wind, she plays along with the mysterious sender’s plans—because for the first time in a long time, she feels seen. Chosen. Wanted in a way that’s impossible to ignore—and even harder to resist.
One instruction. One step further. One line crossed after another.
And with every step she takes, the sender is right there… watching, guiding, playing with her mind and body.
Who is he?
And more importantly… how far will she let him go?
Welcome back to the Clarendon Golf Club—where the jobs are personal, the stakes are higher, desire comes with a price, and the men don’t just want Sophie…
They claim her.
This is an interconnected standalone in The Clarendon Playmates Kink Series. You do not need to have read Rosie's story (book 1-3) to enjoy this one.
Note reader. There is a surprise waiting for you amongst these pages. Enjoy my friend, I know I did procuring him for you.
Ruby Skye is an erotic romance author who writes addictive kink positive stories bringing to life fantasies and taboo desires.
Hi I’m Ruby, I'm an indie author who loves to write about relatable, hard working submissive women who are sexually open minded. My motto is less angst and more smut. I like my men strong, hot and confident in what they want and I love writing about what they'll do to my female main characters.
A few personal details about me. I have a wonderful husband, two children and a dog. I live in Melbourne Australia although I was born and raised in London, UK. I work for myself during the day and write during my spare time. And that’s around home life, kids’ sports, dog walks, the movies and dancing with my friends after a few glasses of Prosecco.
This was like reading 2 books for the price of one…. It starts off with her secret stalker and the big plan (interactive by the way; I literally nearly fell out of the bed) and then it alllllll gets sexy 🥵🥵🥵
Blending mystery, obsession, and intense kink exploration into a narrative I couldn't put down. I loved the constant sense of unease, as every time I thought I’d solved the puzzle, another twist shifted the ground beneath me. It was a masterclass in suspense that kept me guessing about everyone’s true motives until the very end.
The immersion was total, defined by palpable tension and the thrill of forbidden exploration. I particularly enjoyed watching Sophie step out of her comfort zone, as her personal evolution felt genuine and well-earned. The chemistry was undeniably electric, yet it always served the plot, deepening the emotional connection and heightening the stakes as the central mystery unraveled.
Most of all, I was captivated by the sheer, obsessive devotion the male leads showed toward Sophie. That specific dynamic, paired with genuine surprises and plenty of heat, made this a truly memorable reading experience.
It was an incredibly fun, addictive read that left me thinking about the characters and all their secrets!

Huge thank you to Ruby Skye & Hambright PR for the ARC! 😍 All my bookish thoughts are completely my own. ✨
As both a sensitivity reader and an incredibly grateful early reader, I can honestly say that The Secret Stalker exceeded every expectation I had.
Ruby Skye has created a story that is equal parts suspenseful, addictive, emotional, and unbelievably hot. From the very beginning, I was completely immersed in Sophie's journey. Every new character had me questioning their motives, second-guessing my assumptions, and trying to work out where the story was heading. I was convinced I had things figured out more than once, and every single time Ruby proved me wrong.
One of my favourite things about this book was how cleverly the mystery unfolds. The tension builds at exactly the right pace, with just enough breadcrumbs to keep you guessing without ever giving too much away. It kept me engaged from start to finish and had me constantly changing my mind about who I could trust.
The characters were another standout for me. Every interaction felt purposeful, every relationship brought something different to the story, and I found myself becoming attached to far more characters than I expected. Mack had my heart in a chokehold 😉. Ruby has a way of creating characters who feel layered and real, making it impossible not to become invested in their journeys.
What I continue to love most about this series is its approach to exploring desires, boundaries, and self-discovery. Rather than presenting things through a lens of judgement, Ruby allows her characters (and readers) the space to learn about themselves and decide what works for them. It encourages curiosity, communication, and open-mindedness in a way that feels authentic and refreshing.
The spice was phenomenal, but what impressed me most was how seamlessly it was woven into the story. The intimate moments didn't just exist for shock value, they deepened relationships, revealed character growth, and strengthened the emotional impact of the book.
And then there are the twists. Without spoiling a single thing, all I'll say is that I audibly gasped more than once. The reveals felt earned, satisfying, and OH MY GOD THE SURPRISE! This was a divine gift and done so cleverly to immerse readers further into Sophie’s character and it worked a TREAT. 😮💨
The Secret Stalker is the kind of book that keeps you reading "just one more chapter" until suddenly it's 2am and you've finished the entire thing.
Thank you, Ruby, for trusting me with a sensitivity reader copy. It was an absolute privilege to experience Sophie's story before release, and once again you've left me desperate for more from this world. I would happily read the story of every single character you've introduced because you've made them all impossible to forget 🩵
The Secret Stalker, book 4 in the Clarendon Playmates Kink series
FMC Sophie has been working at the Clarendon for a few years now, but in just one week, her world is turned upside down. She agrees to be a sub for an online masked dom, and agrees to take on some jobs that he has instructed her to, only to find out these are clients she has had before. Desperate to find out who the masked dom is, she continues to play his game, and will soon learn the secret behind this sexy stalker.
I really enjoyed this story, and the way that the "stalker" designed this master plan to get what he has always wanted. Sophie is a little nervous at first, not knowing who the masked man is, but I like that she is looking for some excitement in her life, so takes the risk. It seems a little suspect initially, but really, what can someone do that is just online? With each job that Sophie takes, she gets one step closer to her masked man.
I was so intrigued to find out who this guy is! And I would have never guessed who it turns out to be. There is even an additional player to the game, that is not expected for either the masked man, or Sophie. I kind of had an idea of who he might be, but was not positive until the reveal! But I truly love the angle that the stalker himself even has a secret stalker watching everything going on between the masked man and Sophie.
The elaborate plan that is made for Sophie, seems like so much considering she may say no. I think it really shows the commitment for her.
If you enjoy a slow reveal, why choose, stalker romance, than this one is for you!
Thank you to Hambright PR for a copy of this story!
Some fav quotes: "Is it reckless to follow the instructions from a random emailer and take the job? Would I take it ordinarily? Yes."
"“Welcome to the club!” I reply good naturedly. “It’s addictive at the Clarendon. Why do you think so many of us don’t leave? Who gets paid this well to live out other people’s fantasies?”"
"We sit staring at one another, sizing each other up in the moment. I drink in the abs that beg for my attention below a wide chest and muscular shoulders that tell me he works out a lot and I appreciate it. There is an unusual hollowed-eyed cat tattoo on his chest covered in a dusting of fine fair hair. Who in the world is this"
"“If I wasn’t safe, I wouldn’t have sent you a link to talk to you Sophie, I would have taken you.” He says this so blase I’m not sure if it’s a threat or he’s just stating the obvious."
"“Are you ready for me to play with you now?” His gravelly voice makes the hairs on my arms stand up. I nod and manage to part my lips to utter a quiet, yes, wondering what our new normal is going to be."
"There really is something deliciously hot about seeing a man with a sexy black bike between his thighs. I must ask him to give me a ride some time."
"For a moment I wonder why I have never taken the opportunity to ask anyone to teach me how to play golf because right now I realise I have been missing out on one of the perks of my job—having hot men’s arms around me under the guise of learning."
"“You need to do what’s right for you. If anyone asks, just say you’re having a mental health break or something. Which is code for ‘I’m getting dicked too often at home.’”"
""We can love whoever and however we want to love. The only restraints we put on love are the ones we put on ourselves.”"
This follows Sophie, who has worked at the exclusive Clarendon Club for nearly three years, balancing her role in the café while also taking on more explicit jobs and strictly following the club’s rules. But things begin to shift when an unknown stalker starts seeking her out, boundaries begin to blur, and the rules she’s always followed start to bend. What could go wrong.
I got the opportunity to read this early, and I’m so grateful because I just love the way Ruby writes her spice. Out of all the books so far, this one felt the most thrilling to me because of the forbidden elements sneaking around, breaking the rules, and that little sprinkle of taboo woven into the storyline.
This is very much a positive kink exploration story that’s written in a way that feels fun, safe, and addictive to read. I loved all the men and the way they came together when it came to Sophie. Reading this was such an immersive experience too, especially with the soft dom videos throughout that genuinely had me blushing while reading along.
Then towards the end, when the plot started escalating, I loved how everything shifted into making sure Sophie felt safe and cared for even though they are challenging circumstances. These men would do absolutely anything to protect her and take her mind off of the pain and to somewhere safe.
What really makes these stories work for me is the devotion. The way these men cater to her wants and needs, how completely obsessed they are and how much care goes into every interaction it just scratches an itch in my brain perfectly. It may not be realistic but it’s fictional romance.
Lastly, I will never forget one absolutely delicious scene in this that had that sprinkle of taboo energy. That hand on the neck moment was downright illegal I was screaming. I genuinely can’t wait to see what comes next.

Sophie works at the Clarendon Golf Club by day and is a Playmate in their exclusive and highly vetted club at night. Everything about her life feels mundane even the kinky playmate jobs she has been taking. She is just plain ole’ lonely and bored. One day while checking her emails she receives an email form a mystery man name Mack. What starts out as something harmless turns her taking jobs and risks. How far will she go? What do her normal clients and jobs have to do with it? Who is the masked man? Is there someone working with Mack? Who will claim who?
What a ride, but I am not mad at it!!
"Three years I have waited, three long, blue ball years." "We are a lovesick bag of misfits pining for a redheaded goddess".
The Secret Stalker is told in multi POV has a medium to fast pace, is plot driven, and contemporary with a world that’s easy to digest. It is FULL of kink and no one needs to worry about blue balls any longer. The “surprise” waiting for us readers was something new to me and a unique experience. I enjoyed reading about the different kinks Sophie was into and the ways her clients and selected men took care of her. The punishment portion was wild, but now I'm curious about what these owners of the kink club really enjoy. Good thing there are more books to dive into!
If you enjoy kinks, erotica, secret clubs, masked men and why choose romance, the Clarendon Kink Series may be for you. Please note, this is an interconnected standalone in the series, so you do not have read books 1-3 to enjoy this one.
A huge shout out to Ruby Skye and Hambright PR for allowing me to read and review Sophie’s story.
I just finished The Secret Stalker and absolutely devoured it! It was a fun, spicy romantic read, and I loved every minute of it. The FMC, Sophie, works at the Clarendon, a golf course by day that transforms into a secret kink club by night. She's bubbly, openminded, and starts to feel like something is missing from her life. The people who care about her begin to notice, and they set a plan in motion to help her find the happiness she's been searching for, leading to some very unexpected surprises. I loved each of the MMCs, as they all brought something unique to the group dynamic. I have to say, though, Mack was my favourite. He seemed like such a sweetheart, and when Tye was added to the mix, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed his character as well. I'm not sure if there are any plans for it, but I feel like Tye and Mack's father deserves a book of his own. He was mentioned briefly, but not in enough detail to satisfy my curiosity. I'd love to learn more about what he does behind the scenes and what shaped him into the person he is. I'll definitely be checking out more of this author's books!
I always hoped we would get a book all about Sophie and wow it met all my expectations!! I am obsessed with this series. Loved the secrets, the suspense, the online aspect! The added interactive element was a surprise too, never seen that in a book before!! If you are looking for a fun spicy read, this series is for you. Petition for the next book to be about Casey!!
I am a BIG fan of this authors works, I loved the first 3 books in this series and have re read them multiple times since they came out. I have also enjoyed both other books by this author and find them interesting, fun and well written. Unfortunately this book was not for me at all- and let me tell you why:
- the “interactive” aspect of this book ruined it for me completely. For those wondering what it means by interactive, it is a webpage at the end of chapters where there are videos of a masked man acting as though he is Mack from the book. It is so low production value, the mask looks like a retro Batman mask, it barely covers his face and it is SO cringey. I made the mistake of going onto the webpage thinking it might be additional content but as soon as the video popped up it gave me the ick so bad it ruined the book. I didn’t watch anymore. Every time I read about Mack who is a main character I get the ick and it makes me judge Sophie (the fmc) because why would she find someone so cringey attractive? The book felt like it was trying to sell me online Doms, as it kept mentioning how great a concept it was? Not sure if they have teamed up with Mr cringe to try and sell his service, but it made the book feel like an advertisement? - the thing I enjoyed about the first 3 books is that it felt fun and was so interesting seeing all the clients “interests”. Due to the storyline of this book you barely get that as it only really focuses on Sophie and her men. So it’s just a story about her secret admirers. Which was kinda boring. - she tells everyone not to break the rules but she continues to break them significantly herself? I know she acknowledges this but it’s really annoying. - she falls for these men like instantly and makes it feel like there’s no chemistry. She mentioned in the previous books how much she loved one of her clients and his interests, and briefly mentioned another but she really emphasized only one of these men and so in this book it felt like she was “yeah okay why not”. -no build up or tension, Sophie was a boring character in this book and didn’t seem to carry on her more bubbly fun demenour from the previous books. - the fmc also made it seem like she didn’t care about book 1-3 FMC despite them being really good friends in those books? She literally says in this book about how you just click with someone you meet like lost souls ABOUT THE NEW GUY SHE WORKS WITH?! and she casually says she’s looking for a new lunch buddy but it made it seem like she was faking the friendship of the first books.
I genuinely have nothing positive to say about this book. Which is a shame because I lvoe this author, love the previous books and I am a sucker for why choose
🩵 AUSTRALIAN DOM, you say? 🥵 Ruby heard my call and said, "Hold my beer." You want stalking? Done. You want Why Choose? Done. You want a masked man who lives rent-free in your head? Oh, sweetheart... DONE. 😮💨 I had the absolute privilege of alpha reading Sophie's story, so yes, I'm biased when it comes to Ruby Skye's books—but I'm also honest. And when I say she's an absolute little ripper, I mean it. The Secret Stalker is everything I've come to expect from the Clarendon Playmates Series, but somehow Ruby has managed to elevate it even further. Yes, there is spice. A lot of spice. The kind of spice that makes you suddenly aware that your family can see your facial expressions while you're reading. The kind of spice that has you checking you've still got battery life because putting the book down simply isn't an option. But for me, what makes Ruby's books stand out is always the characters. Sophie's journey pulled me in from the very first page. Watching her rediscover herself, find her confidence, and embrace the things she didn't even realise she was missing made me emotionally invested long before the story had me blushing. And trust me, there was plenty of blushing. 😏 Ruby has this incredible ability to balance heat, humour, emotion, and connection. You're not just reading for the next spicy scene. You're rooting for these characters. You're invested in their happiness. You're desperate to see them get their happily ever after. Now... Can we please discuss the surprise waiting inside these pages? Ruby and River, what have you done? 😱 Talk about bringing Masked Mack to life. I genuinely wasn't prepared. If I owned pearls, I would have been clutching them. If I had a fainting couch, I would have been dramatically throwing myself across it. And if my Kindle could talk, it would probably be filing a formal complaint. The interactive experience takes an already fantastic book and launches it into another stratosphere. It's clever, unexpected, ridiculously fun, and one of the most memorable reading experiences I've had in a very long time. Ruby Skye didn't just write a book. She created an experience. One that had me laughing, swooning, gasping, clutching imaginary pearls, and immediately wanting to talk about it with everyone. Consider this your warning. And your temptation. 🩵
Ruby Skye absolutely delivered with The Secret Stalker. What started as a seemingly simple story about a woman stuck in the monotony of everyday life quickly spiraled into an addictive, pulse-racing romance that had me glued to every page.
Sophie was such an easy character to connect with. Her life feels safe, predictable, and colorless until a mysterious email arrives from someone who seems to know her better than she knows herself. Watching her step outside her comfort zone and rediscover parts of herself she’d buried was incredibly satisfying.
The mystery surrounding the sender kept me hooked from beginning to end. Every message had me questioning everyone, and I found myself obsessively trying to figure out who was behind it all. The tension builds beautifully, creating that delicious feeling of anticipation where you know something explosive is coming but have no idea when the bomb will drop.
The chemistry is electric. The push and pull between curiosity, desire, trust, and danger creates a captivating dynamic that made it impossible to stop reading. The emotional intensity was just as compelling as the romance, giving the story depth beyond the intrigue.
If you love: ✨ Why Choose Romance ✨ Secret Admirers ✨ Obsessive Heroes ✨ Suspenseful Romance ✨ Emotional Awakening ✨ High Tension Chemistry ✨ Club Setting & Hidden Secrets
Then The Secret Stalker deserves a spot on your TBR immediately.
Ruby Skye crafted a story that is seductive, suspenseful, and completely binge-worthy. I devoured this book in one sitting and was left wanting even more from the Clarendon Playmates world.
The What We follow Sophie as she continues working at Clarendon Club, where her life starts to feel increasingly unsettled when she realizes she may be being watched. What begins as an uneasy feeling quickly turns into something harder to ignore, especially as she becomes more curious about the mysterious man. As Sophie slowly opens herself up to exploring this connection, she starts to uncover that his interest in her is far from simple attraction and he might not be the only one.
The How This book is written from multiple POV’s. The writing kept me engaged and it’s an easy, fast read, but the structure felt a bit overloaded. There was definetly more spice than plot. There were multiple characters and storylines competing for attention, which didn’t exactly work for me.
The Vibe Dark romance, why choose, stalker, hidden identity, kink club, praise x punishment, consensual NC, dom x sub, voyeurism.
The Hit Sophie’s growth was the strongest part of the book. Watching her come into her own and not accepting a boring, vanilla life felt liberating and I was happy for her. The spice is always good in Skye’s books so really no shock there!
The Miss There were too many moving parts, which made the plot feel scattered. I really didn’t like Tye’s kink exploration, and the “punishment” dynamic involving his father felt weird and really random.
The Rec This is still a worthwhile read if you’re invested in the series and characters, but not the strongest entry. It works more as a continuation of character arcs than a tightly executed standalone story.
The Overall Overall, I would rate this book as follows:
We first met Sophie in Rosie's story, and now it's her turn to find her forever! When a mysterious email comes across her work email from a mystery man demanding she take a job. Then follow a link with a promise that it wasn't a virus. This mystery man claims to be Mack and will explain everything. But isn't the job, nor the next that he demands Sophie takes. But both men are the ones she loves playing with and are both in love with her, like Mack. Turns out they all want her and want more. What none of them were counting on was Mack's brother also being serious about wanting Sophie too and pretending to be Mack at night. So what happens when it's discovered that they're all breaking the club's rules?
Sophie and her four men get their happy ending in this standalone book in a series.
This book had an extra feature I've never seen before, and I loved and hated it! I definitely recommend checking it out as it was fun! While I could not put this book down, I do wish there had been some interaction between some of the men, even though that was never promised. The secret stalker was a bit of a surprise, as I was wondering if Mack was Tye at first, with how they had interacted for so long. I do wonder how long this relationship would actually last outside of fiction with these four strong personalities and semi-conflicting kinks.
I received an advance review copy from Hambright PR, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Ok, Sophie has been working at the Clarendon for years, living her quiet little routine until one week turns her whole life inside out. She signs up as a sub for a masked online dom, thinking it’s just harmless fun, and suddenly she’s taking on “jobs” that feel a little too familiar. Every task pulls her closer to figuring out who he is, and the tension had me glued to the page.
What I loved is how Sophie leans into the risk. She’s nervous, sure, but she’s also craving something more, and that spark of curiosity is what makes her feel so real. And the masked dom? The way he orchestrates this whole plan to get what he’s always wanted… I was entertained. I was invested. I was suspicious of everybody.
And just when I thought I had it figured out, Ruby said “actually, no you don’t.” There’s an extra player in the mix someone watching the watcher and that twist took me out. I loved the layered mystery and the way everything snaps together at the end.
Secret Stalker is fast, spicy, twisty, and just messy enough to keep you hooked. Ruby Skye knows how to build tension without spoiling the fun, and this one delivered.
THIS BOOK! Whew! 🥵🔥 I loved meeting Sophie’s character in the first series The Secret Club and could not wait for her to have her own book and this DID.NOT.DISAPPOINT!! I love this world that Ruby has created- just a normal golf country club with a secret kink club membership with playmates ready to fulfill every members fantasy. These books are high spice but also have so much character connections and emotions. I felt myself rooting for each character and loving them! I loved the mystery of who’s who and how that played out. I had my suspicions but even I was surprised to learn how two of the MMCs knew each other. These men are obsessed but in the best way. Sophie is such a fun and kind hearted character. I really enjoyed her banter with Casey her coworker it felt so authentic. This book is deliciously good and I did not want it to be over! I really enjoy the Clarendon Playmates Kink series and hope we get more!

The Clarendon Playmates Kink Series has been packed with spice, romance, and plenty of kink, so I knew from the start that I was going to love Sophie's story. She may have started as a side character, but she absolutely shines in her own book.
What Sophie doesn't realize is that she's had secret admirers for quite some time. Not one, but four men have quietly fallen for her. When she receives an anonymous email from Mack offering to become her online Dom, her world begins to change in ways she never expected.
Mack, Flynn, Rory, and Ty each bring something different to the table, but they all share one thing in common, they're completely devoted to Sophie. I loved how each of them cared for her in their own unique way and wanted to be there for her no matter what. Sophie is open minded, so the idea of having four men interested in her doesn't throw her off nearly as much as you might expect. As the identities of her admirers slowly unfolded, I had my suspicions, but the suspense kept me eagerly turning the pages.
If you're looking for a romance packed with heat, tension, and a group of men who are utterly obsessed with one woman, this book delivers exactly that.
Wow. This was a page turner! A lot of kink exploring and a little bit of plot to go along with it!
I gave it 4 ⭐️ because I couldn’t put it down. It was a teensy bit repetitive but really fun to read. Was there a lot of depth to the characters? Nope! 😂 but the kink exploring was just a fun ride.
Sophie works for a super exclusive golf club that has a top secret playmate society where members can post their deepest desires and hope a playmate chooses them and fulfills all their fantasies. When 4 of the members realize that they’re all madly in love with Sophie, they come up with a plan to make her theirs and to fulfill her every wish. Literally…their only goal is to make her happy.
Do I recommend? Yes. It’s a fast read about a girl who basically wants it all the time and 4 hot men that are more than willing to give it to her 😂.
The Secret Stalker was the kind of book that had me saying “just one more chapter” until suddenly it was 2 a.m.
Sophie was such an easy heroine to root for. Watching her get pulled deeper into a web of secrets, anonymous messages, and complicated feelings kept me completely invested. The mystery element added just enough suspense to keep me guessing, while the romance delivered all the tension, longing, and spice I could ask for.
What really made this book stand out was the dynamic between Sophie and the four MMCs. Each man brought something different to the story, and none of them felt interchangeable. Z, Ty, Rory, and the others all had distinct personalities that made the relationships feel layered and believable.
The chemistry was off the charts, the emotional moments hit when they needed to, and the constant feeling that everything could unravel at any moment kept the pages flying by.
If you love why-choose romance, obsessive heroes, secret identities, online D/s dynamics, mystery, and plenty of spice, this is one you won’t want to miss.
Ok, this book is INTERACTIVE!! Yes, you read that correctly. The coolest book I have ever read. Trust me when I say click the envelopes!! Obviously the spice was phenomenal but I got so caught up in the suspense that I didnt want to put the book down. I literally wanted to carry my kindle with me every step I look 🫣 I thought I'd be reading a story about a woman looking for excitement, breaking out of what she called a beige life. Instead I was delivered an addictive, pulse - racing, double checking to make sure certain things are charged, romance. The emotion in this was just as intense and well written as the spice. A girl who wants it all the time and FOUR, yes four! Hot men who are oh so willing to give it to her. Thank you Ruby Skye.
The only reason I took a half star away was because I felt like there were a few things I would have understood a little better if I had read the previous books. But with that being said I was still able to follow along and enjoy this as a stand alone.
Thank you to Hambright PR and Ruby Skye for an arc of The Secret Stalker in exchange for an honest review :) 5⭐️ || 4.5🌶️ [releasing june 5th] Ruby Skye does it again. I’m going to keep this sooo vague because the book isn’t out yet, but I’m obsessed with Sophia and her tender and loving heart! My favorite scene was a beautiful moment with just her after she is paid for a job. You’ll know it when you read it. Now remember folks…this book is fiction and it’s supposed to be fun. It’s not real life. Check your trigger warnings…if it’s not for you, that’s fine! As per usual Skye’s new book is spicy as hell, but it’s so much deeper than that. To keep it simple (and vague), it’s about not settling in life and searching for more, unapologetically. And the men…yep. Yes. 🫠 Okay I should leave it at that. My lips are sealed 🤐
Sophie was a side character in the first three books of the Clarendon Playmates series and while I do feel like you could read this book as a standalone, don't. Go back to the beginning and read all the spicy nuggets from Rosies stories too! The series really is too good to miss!
Sophie is still working at the cafe in the mornings and now has a new side kick, remember Rosie retired, he's a blast and just past his 6 month marked of time with the Clarendon, iykyk his world is changing too. Sophie recently parted ways with her boyfriend and is in a funk, until everything around her starts to shift. Small things at first, flirty looks with her driver, golf lessons with a member... One thing leads to another and she finds herself faced with a bigger question... is she willing to break the Clarendon rules to explore a something new?! Is she willing to risk her lifestyle to explore a whole new kinky one?!

Here I was thinking that 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛 was one of my favourite books but nooo!! In walks Ruby, casually dropping this fabulous gem of a read & I am completely blown away!! I freaking adore Sophie!! And her men! Oh my, her men!!
Readers of the series have met Sophie, work bestie of Rosie (FMC of books 1-3) before, it’s not imperative that you read the previous books (having said that, I do highly recommend them!!).
Although she’s a prized playmate at The Clarendon, Sophie has been feeling a little unsatisfied, that is until a mysterious online masked Dom appears in her life. Add in some intense sessions with two regular club members & another mystery man, Sophie’s world explodes into colour & multiple… org- experiences 💥😏.
In true Ruby fashion, the kinks come in hard & fast & defiantly won’t disappoint.
Please, please read this!!! Ruby has truly outdone herself with this book!!! And it’s interactive, yes you heard that right!!
I wish you all luck because Masked Mack is waiting… 😉

I'm so happy Ruby finally gave Sophie her own story! From the very beginning, I knew she was more than just a side character, and wow... what a book.
I was absolutely not prepared for this story. The chemistry? The tension? The heat? Let's just say it was on fire. 🔥
And the boys... OMG. I honestly don't have enough words for them. What I loved most is that this story isn't just about wanting her—it's about love, connection, and that undeniable need to be together. But I think I've already said too much... 🤭
Oh, wait, wait, wait! I haven't even told you about the interactive chapter!
When I got to it, I was literally staring at the link thinking, "Should I open it?" Well... I did. And let me tell you, I was NOT ready. I was blushing like a teenager. 🫣
So now I have a question for you:
Are you ready to open the link and discover a whole new world? 👀✨
Firstly… the spice is absolutely outrageous. This series is very much kink-forward. Everything goes, and it’s oddly liberating in a way.
Secondly… I was not expecting all the mystery, twists, turns and surprises. I spent a great deal of this book trying to figure out who was what and what was who. IYKYK. And let me tell you, the grand reveal… Aaaaahhhhhhhh. So effing good. I was giddy, shocked, and absolutely feral.
Lastly… the interactive element completely caught me off guard. I wasn’t expecting it, I’ve never experienced anything like it before, and it was so much fun.
All in all, I absolutely loved this book. It kept me hooked from beginning to end, and I’m completely invested in these characters.

Any readers who know my reviews know I adore a bit of spice with my romance, this book had it in spades and something tells me that the rest of the series does too. I haven't read them, but I guarantee that I will be when I have the time to dive into another reverse harem.
This book gave me chills and so much build up of anticipation, I couldn't put it down until the ipad went flat.
This book is a why choose, and I completely understand the question of why would you choose when you get handed four men who want nothing but to adore you. I loved the mystery of trying to figure out who the secret stalker was, unlike my usual, ''ignore the clues, be surprised'' ideology.
Thank you to Ruby Skye and Hambright PR for the opportunity to read and review this book. I look forward to reading as many books as I can from this author.
ARC REVIEW I had high hopes for this and was really excited to get the ARC. That being said i havent read the other books in this series and it was the first book I have read by this author. I found this book to be a little bit confusing and im not sure if it was intentional because Sophie doesnt know the identity of Masked Mack and the author was trying to be mysterious with the reader or if it was something with the writing style that just didnt click. Most of the spice was good (the scene with the chocolate mousse lol) but my main problem was that the MMCs have very little personality and their main distinctions are their kinks. I love a why choose but I just didnt really feel the relationship was deeper than kinky sex.
4.5 Stars The Secret Stalker is the 4th book in The Clarendon Playmates Kink Series. It is a “why-choose” romance. You can read this book as a standalone or read Rosie’s story in the first 3 books. I was intrigued that this is an interactive reading experience. This time it is Sophie’s story. As well as Zee, Tye, Flynn & Rory.
I really enjoyed the reading experience that came with this book. It gives the reading of this book a little somethin’, somethin’ extra! Not that Ruby Skye’s book needs anything extra because she goes all out in these sexy as you know what kind of books!
I sure hope there will be more in The Clarendon Playmate Kink series! I love these why-choose kinky romances! I want more!
Sophie has been working at the club for years. When she gets a mysterious email, will her whole life change?
I thought it was good. This is book four in a series, but it can be read standalone. I read the first one in the series and even if I had not it would not have affected me reading this one. Whereas book 1 had different things going on in each chapter, this one is more about a group situation. Four men in love with one woman.
The spice was niiice. I will say it was mostly stuff that is not my thing so i would just skip those things. There were a lot of moments I that I did enjoy as well. Check your triggers and know what you are getting into.
Overall, interesting and spicy story about a secret club.
When they say kink 🥵 This is book 4 in the Clarendon playmates series Sophie our MFC has been working at Claredon private golf club a few years.. But to all that haven't read Clarendon is a private golf club and its also a private kink club where men and women get to live out there wildest desires. Sophie gets to pick and choose through an online forum who she wants to take a job for!!! The higher the level the more money you get 😏 Sophie takes on a job for a Masked Dom but Sophie is starting to wonder which man is said Masked Dom at the golf club. She will continue to play his game and let's just say she soon learns who her secret stalker is or maybe its 2.... I loved this and its about the bigger picture and all being part of a plan. It was hot, kinky and a 5 star from me.💗
