After a successful 25-year career in software development in IoT, smart utilities, agriculture and education, Steven pivoted to fiction. Augmosis is his first novel.
Like most authors, his writing journey began as a young reader. Fantasies by Jane Yolen and Victor Kelleher, and classic science fiction by Robert A. Heinlein and H. G. Wells (including Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds) were an inspiration, as were other genres including thrillers and crime, and of course, the film and television of the 80s.
He loves to cook, sing, play with chainsaws, lose balls on the golf course and make my children roll their eyes at him.
In addition to writing, Steven is a capable speaker, trainer, workshop facilitator and business leader.
