Christopher Mason and his team build partnerships and cooperation

The new world the team has been sent to has plentiful life, the dominant life form being Colossi - massive tree-like beings. Think Tolkien's Ents on super-steroids. The planet is also overrun by an insect-like species led by a bug mastermind dominating and forcibly converting native species to slaves. Mason's team goal is to convert the bugs to allies in the fight against the Void. Looks like war. Feels like war. Smells like war. Must be war, but on whose terms? We'll see.
LitRPG. Previously not a fan, but I'm now a convert! Reading the story, but seeing the characters' stats raise and lower and affecting their abilities. I can almost hear the dice rattling, rolling at decision points. The characters are great! Each contributing strengths and abilities to the group, overcoming weaknesses and flaws. The giant rat called Bunny is my favorite, although the massive, feeble minded, tiny headed, ogre bodied strongman Chuck runs a close second. Unity and strength are built through practice and experience and this world offers plenty of each. Excellent storyline! Great team-building! This is an amazing read!

Quixotic but Fun and Interesting

The technical problem that i had with this book was that the Forerunners stats kept appearing even though the Forerunners were not present. I guess they were in their spaceships watching the action. I really enjoy this series and look forward to the next book!

Adventure extreme

Fantastic follow up the characters and world we were introduced to in book one. Even if you're not a LitRPG fan this is a reverting, action packed thrill ride from a true master. More please

Another great ride

Salvage System 2 was a lot of fun. The dangerous new world and intriguing new characters raises the bar. Once again I felt like I was playing an awesome video game in my mind. Can't wait for book 3.

Well that's different

Came for the apocalyptic earth. Found the Avatar/ET/various other franchises. Bugs and dogs and birds and trees and Russians and mountains.

Much easier to read than the first book. I thought there would only be two book in the series but it seems like there will be more. I enjoyed this book.
