Original Sinners #3

Beautiful Redeemer

Rate this book
Lucifer’s wife, Death’s lover, mother of the apocalypse—a young bride’s desire breaks all bounds in the explosive conclusion to Kait Ballenger’s Original Sinners trilogy.

I never asked to be the queen of Hell, but now the crown burns against my skin—and every choice drips with sin.

Lucifer, my devil of a husband, feeds me power kiss by kiss, lash by lash. Azrael, Death incarnate, tempts me with the brutal devotion only he can give. They both worship me. They both ruin me. And I can’t get enough.

I won’t be made to choose.

But indulgence has its price. The apocalypse is splitting the sky. The Righteous hunt us with holy fire, and New York drowns. On the eve of my unholy wedding, all the armies of Heaven descend and all-out war begins. My greatest weapon is the impossible child growing inside the secret that could save or damn us all.

To protect humanity and seize my dark salvation, I’ll fight. I’ll bleed. I’ll burn. And when the last seal shatters, I’ll rise again…or stay on my knees forever.

Beautiful Redeemer by Kait Ballenger
Original Sinners series #3. Conclusion. Romantasy. Dark romance. Erotic romance and mythology.
Charlotte has experienced unimaginable horrors and exquisite pleasures. Lucifer, Azriel, Greed, her father, trials, and pregnancy. And then the apocalypse. All in the hands of the Queen of hell.

🎧 I listened to an audiobook narrated by Troy Duran, Ethan Reid and Isabelle Turner who did the full series. The performances are intense, erotic and dark to follow the story. The characters and scenes come to vivid life in the audiobook and the tense situations are clearly felt. Immersive dialogue.
Recommend the audiobook unequivocally.

Dark, tense, erotic, and riveting.

I received a copy of this from NetGalley and Brilliance Audio.

Beautiful Redeemer by Kait Ballenger is a blend of two of my favorites, Lucifer and Fifty Shades Of Gray. I have been loving this series and Kait smashed it out of the park in the finale of the Original Sinners trilogy.

We have all the players, from gods and goddesses, to demons and humans. Christianity takes a hit when the righteous rise, thinking they know how the world should be run. Lucifer has a target on his back, and seeing he has lost his powers and his mortality, his life it at risk...and the righteous aren't the only ones who want to take him out. Charlotte, Queen of Hell, is determined to stop the apocalypse and, if she has to face off with God, that's not a problem for her.

This is my kind of romance. In your face, at times brutal, at other times sweet, but always passionate. Charlotte definitely has her hands full with Lucifer AND Azrael.

So, if you are the least bit squeamish, you may want to shy away from the Original Sinners. BUT, if you are like me and love walking on the dark side, come on in.

My thanks go out to Kait Ballenger, Montlake and NetGalley for the opportunity to review Beautiful Redeemer.

This was such a fulfilling ending to the Original Sinners trilogy. It was heavy on the spice (Not just one, but TWO Dom Daddies? Uh, yes please), interesting world building, emotional depth, surprising plot twists, and heart pounding battles. The audiobook was excellent. Troy Duran, Ethan Reid, and Isabelle Turner were fantastic at making me feel like I was part of this book’s world. I can’t wait to get a physical copy to complete my collection!

Make sure you check the trigger warnings for this one. I enjoyed and found this series fascinating, but it might not be for you.

Thank you so much to Kait Ballenger and Brilliance Publishing for the ARC and ALC!

Thank you to Kait Ballenger and Montlake for giving me access to this book in exchange for an honest review.

WELCOME BACK TO THE WORLD OF ORIGINAL SINNER! I have MISSED this deranged celestial playground.

The yearning in this book should be illegal. The longing is feral. The emotional stakes are sky-high, the spice is relentless, and every single character is thinking with their libido instead of their brain. Frankly? Relatable.

I screamed “WHAT THE FUCK?!” more times than I can count. The plot twists? Violent. The emotional whiplash? Criminal.

Lucifer and Azrael need to calm themselves immediately. The obsession, the desire, the sheer inability to behave even a little bit had me feral. Everyone’s minds are absolutely unhinged in this book, and that’s exactly why it works.

This was wicked, wild, emotionally loaded, and horny in the most unrepentant way. Kait Ballenger did not come to play. She came to ruin us, and I am thankful for that.

I need a lie down. Possibly a confessional.

A beautiful ending to a chaotic trilogy. This is one of my favorite series by far. The tension, obsessive love, and the rebellion was right up my alley. This book is the last book of the trilogy and I'm sad to see it end however this series will most definitely be on my reread list for a long time to come. I highly recommend its gripping, addictive, and overall an amazing series ❤️‍🔥

Beautiful Redeemer delivered an incredibly satisfying conclusion to the story. The balance of tension, danger, action, and romance was expertly done, keeping me fully engaged from start to finish. The battles were intense, the relationships complex and emotionally charged, and the chemistry undeniable.

Everything came together in a way that felt earned and complete, making this a strong and memorable finale. A captivating read that blends high stakes with heat and heart.

destruction, chaos, and the spiciest spice!

⭐️4.5| 🌶️3
Destruction, devious, dark and delectable 🥵.
What a way to end this series!! My favorite pairings back with so much depth, growth, yearning, and devastation. I loved seeing Daddy Death, Charlotte, and Lucifer.

From the first few pages we are thrust into where book two left off. There is chaos and Charolette trying her damndest to get things under control. I loved seeing the evolution of her and Az’s relationship. There are few 👀 spicy moments between these two, and it was soooo good!

I was pleasantly surprised by all the twists and turns in this book! Kait did a phenomenal job really leaning into the complex characters that are the deadly sins. Book 1 was giving tender and charismatic characters, book 2 a bit of scheming and tolerance… but this book, book 3 they kicked the door in and said step we are here to play with humans and make humanity pay!

Lucifer, my guy… he goes through it with this book. I enjoyed seeing him truly vulnerable. It was so beautiful! I was so excited to see the true origin of his and Azrael’s story. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. There are small moments throughout the book that peel away at his evil facade and show his true nature of protecting what is his.

Charlotte had several arcs in this book. She initially was hesitant with her confidence and decisions, but as the book progressed she fully owned her choices. I loved seeing her turn on lady death mode and take no Fs. I can definitely see how the support and trust she receives from her partner(s) fuels her to own herself.

Azrael… this man is so multilayered and dare I say more morally gray than the devil. I love daddy death, and was taken aback by many choices he made in this book. I still love him, but goddamn did I go through it with this book.

This was hands down the spiciest book in the series. Did I clutch my pearls, yes, yes I did. I loved every scene Kait put in this book!! The bratty sub, soft dom, mean dom, soooo good!

I loved this series so much. I hope to see more of these characters in the future.

Thank you NetGalley, author Kait Ballenger, and Montlake for this ARC opportunity!

The way I ATE this book is insane! I was addicted to Lucifer and Charlotte’s story. I literally read this in 2-3 days. The way that in this installment Charlotte got out of her shell and into her baddest self alongside keeping a huge secret is astonishing.

This is the 3rd book in the Original Sinners series. This was the first series I read as an advance reader and for that I’m always gonna be grateful.

This series is about Lucifer who has money. When Charlotte joins his company things change as they fall for each other.

In this 3rd book we see Death personified and how they explore a deliciously complication relationship. Charlotte has a secret she can’t tell anyone.. not even her lover Lucifer.

The audiobook narration by Troy Duran, Ethan Reid, , and Isabelle Turner was perfect! I felt very immersed into the story. I totally recommend the audiobook ❤️

This series has always been dark, sinful, obsessive, and completely unhinged…

Lucifer.
 Azrael.
 Charlotte.
I swear every single scene felt like temptation wrapped in holy fire and bad decisions. These characters are all absolutely down bad for each other and I ate up EVERY toxic, emotional, possessive second of it. The way BOTH of these men worship Charlotte in completely different ways.

Beneath the celestial war, apocalypse, spice, betrayal, and absolute madness…this story is really about love, belonging, sacrifice, and choosing each other even when the world is literally ending around you.

Angels.
 Demons.
 Holy wars .
Explosive twists.
 Biblical level destruction.
 Secrets everywhere.
And me sitting there at 2am whispering
“what the ACTUAL hell is happening” 😭

Also…this series is SPICY spicy.
 Like…

What a finale.

Charlotte’s journey through love, betrayal, power, pregnancy, and the apocalypse came to an explosive end, and I was hooked from start to finish. The stakes were higher than ever, and the chaos never stopped.

Troy Duran, Ethan Reid, and Isabelle Turner absolutely crushed the audiobook. Their performances brought every dark, emotional, and intense moment to life.

Dark, addictive, and a satisfying conclusion to the Original Sinners tril.

Thank you @NetGalley and thank you@authorKaitBallenger for the audiobook! WOW, what a fun and active way to end this 3 book series! I really enjoyed the fast pass. I enjoyed the addition of Azrael !! Whoot Whoot Hot Fire.🔥🔥🔥. I know there are more planned books in this entire series, so my heart is happy. As for this story the FMC really woke up and became the woman she needed to be. While the 2 MMC s dealt with the FMC and together with all the politics and then all 3 became what they each needed to be whole! Also loved the addition of Faith! Just a warning this book has many biblical themes.

This audiobook is so, so good. The world building, the depth, and plot twists were written very well into the storyline. The spice was spicing in this. And the narrative is perfection. Troy Duran, Ethan Reid, and Isabelle Turner did an incredible job at narrating this. I enjoyed listening to them give a voice to the characters and bring life to the story. Overall, this book was the perfect ending to this amazing series. Thank you too Brilliance Publishing, Netgalley, and the author for a copy of this. All opinions are my own and freely expressed.

Well. What a gloriously blasphemous ride this has been.

Beautiful Redeemer closes the Original Sinner trilogy with exactly the kind of operatic chaos you’d expect from Kait Ballenger: irreverent, emotional, intense, hilarious in that wicked way that makes you gasp and then grin, and just dark enough to feel deliciously dangerous.

I’ll admit it — I felt a twinge of melancholy turning the final page. Not because it ended poorly. Quite the opposite. Because this trilogy has been one of the most entertaining descents into theological temptation I’ve taken in a long time. And I read a lot of dark books.

Let’s be clear: this series does not believe in gentle build-ups or moral hand-holding. It grabs temptation, theology, desire, and rebellion, throws them into a cocktail shaker, and serves the result with a wicked, unapologetic smirk. If religious imagery entangled with lust and irreverence makes you clutch your pearls, this book will absolutely scandalize you.

If, however, you enjoy watching sacred cows being elegantly poked with a stiletto heel? Welcome. You’re among friends.

The family drama? Oh, it’s there. Dysfunctional doesn’t quite cover it. It’s operatic, chaotic, occasionally over-the-top — and yet, somehow, it works. Because beneath the divine rebellion and celestial politics, this is still a story about belonging. About messy, flawed beings trying to love each other in the only ways they know how.

And the characters — every single one — earns their place in the narrative.

Charlotte? Still not my favourite. (I said what I said.)
Lucifer? Magnetic, problematic, undeniably compelling.
But Azrael? Now there’s a force to be reckoned with. I remain firmly and unapologetically Team Azrael.

This is why-choose romance at its most unapologetic — not coy, not timid, not asking for permission. Passion, betrayal, acceptance, power struggles, and yes… tenderness. Because here’s the surprise: beneath the dark settings, the rebellion, the delicious “to hell with the powers that be” energy, there is genuine sweetness. Real romance. Earned vulnerability.

And when everything finally converges — when the chaos settles into something that resembles grace — it feels earned. Wild. Unpredictable. But beautifully tied together.

Beautiful Redeemer doesn’t beg for approval. It doesn’t soften its edges. It embraces indulgence and dares you to come along for the ride. It’s scandal by design. It’s rebellion in heels. It’s one of the most entertaining trilogies I’ve read in a while.

As for me?

I’ll always choose the fallen over the sanctimonious.
Team bad. Now and forever. 🖤

Wow okay Kait you’ve blown me away. This was such a dark, twisty, fantasy romance that I didn’t see coming at all. I can’t really put my finger on it but wow. Just wow.
The world, the characters are so unique and the banter between the love interest and her has me shook.

It somehow reminds me a little bit of One Dark Window but this has more sexual tension and is more on the adult side of the reading spectrum. Definitely going to be revisiting the series at a later date.

Thank you to NetGalley and the author for providing me with the reading material. I would also like to note before anyone goes into this one please check trigger warnings.

4.25stars--BEAUTIFUL REDEEMER is the third and final instalment in Kait Ballenger’s contemporary, adult ORIGINAL SINNERS dark erotic, urban fantasy, romance series focusing on twenty-three year old, preacher’s daughter Charlotte Bellefleur, the prince of darkness Lucifer Apollyon aka Lightbringer, and his brother the Angel of Death, Archangel Azrael. BEAUTIFUL REDEEMER should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up after the events of book two WICKED BELIEVER

NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there WILL BE triggers for more sensitive readers, as well as numerous religious overtones and references, menage and daddy kink.

Told from three first person perspectives (Charlotte, Lucifer, Azrael) BEAUTIFUL REDEEMER picks up immediately after the events of WICKED BELIEVER. Charlotte Bellefleur, the daughter of a self-proclaimed profit has walked away from her father’s religious cult, and into the arms of the Devil himself but there is a power struggle for control of Heaven, and Lucifer’s numerous siblings are vying for a position at the top. While his mother Lilith has plans of her own, Lucifer finds himself falling for a woman who is the catalyst to destroy the world. Meanwhile, Lucifer’s brother Azrael, the Angel of Death, has also fallen for our story line heroine, and Charlotte finds herself pulled between brothers, brothers of whom she loves equally yet apart.

The world building is complex, detailed, and wrapped in various blended themes of Judaism and Christian mythology and folklore. As the Angels and Archangels battle for control, Charlotte, as the new Queen of H*ll must choose, and in doing so, save the world or bring on the apocalypse.

The relationship between Charlotte and Lucifer is provocative and intense. Lucifer believes he cannot be redeemed but his love for Charlotte proves the Father has never abandoned Lucifer for his sins. Meanwhile, Azrael’s love for both his brother and Charlotte is caught between determination and destruction, and once again, Azrael, like his brothers and sisters, must chose a side in the heavenly war. The $ex scenes are erotic and passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful, familiar and angelic secondary and supporting characters, most of whom play a role in Judaism, Christianity and numerous religions, spirituality and concepts. We are reintroduced to Lucifer’s assistant Imani, Charlotte’s best friend Jax, original sinners: Asmodeus (Lust), Mammon (Greed), Belphagor (Sloth), Satan (Wrath), Leviathan (Envy), Beelzebub (Gluttony): Gabriel , Uriel, Raphael and Michael, as well as Lilith and Father Brown. The requisite evil has many faces.

BEAUTIFUL REDEEMER is a story of power and control, belief and destruction, forgiveness and love. The character driven premise is detailed, dramatic, complex, dark and edgy. The romance is energetic and profound; the characters dangerous, desperate, determined, charismatic and resolute.

Beautiful Redeemer was an absolutely wild, chaotic, emotionally charged finale to the Original Sinners trilogy, and honestly? It delivered everything I wanted from this gloriously unhinged world. Dark celestial politics, dangerous desire, apocalyptic stakes, morally black love interests, emotional devastation, and enough tension to combust an entire cathedral... this book fully committed to the chaos and I ate up every second of it.

This series has always thrived in the space between temptation and tenderness, and Beautiful Redeemer balanced both beautifully. Beneath all the wickedness, violence, lust, and rebellion was a surprisingly emotional story about love, belonging, forgiveness, and choosing each other despite the destruction surrounding them.

The emotional stakes in this book were sky high from beginning to end. Every relationship felt messy, complicated, obsessive, and deeply earned. Lucifer and Azrael absolutely dominated every scene they entered in completely different ways, and the tension between all three characters was intense in the best possible way. The yearning, possessiveness, emotional vulnerability, and absolute inability for anyone in this book to behave rationally made the entire reading experience feel deliciously chaotic.

And the chemistry? Completely feral.

What really surprised me, though, was how much heart existed underneath all the darkness. For a series packed with morally questionable immortals, celestial war, and religious rebellion, there were still moments of genuine softness and emotional intimacy that hit surprisingly hard. The story never loses sight of the emotional core beneath all the destruction.

I also loved how cinematic everything felt. The battles were massive, the stakes constantly escalated, and every twist felt dramatic in that addictive “just one more chapter” kind of way. Kait Ballenger knows exactly how to balance over-the-top chaos with emotional investment, and it made this finale impossible to put down.

The audiobook narration deserves praise too because the narrators brought so much intensity and personality to every character. The emotional scenes landed perfectly, and the darker moments felt even more immersive because of the performances.

This series absolutely will not be for everyone, and readers should definitely check content warnings beforehand. But for readers who enjoy dark paranormal romance with morally black characters, celestial warfare, obsessive love, emotional damage, and unapologetic spice, this trilogy delivers exactly what it promises.

A wickedly entertaining finale full of passion, destruction, longing, found family, celestial chaos, and love stories that feel just as dangerous as the war surrounding them.

Beautiful Redeemer by Kait Ballenger left my head and heart spinning till the very last chapter! It was sinful and scorching hot for sure but the angsty and heartbreaking parts were simply magical. Luciferi. Azrael. Charlotte. Their bodies and souls are locked in a battle of love and lust but they are also facing an apocalyptic celestial war. It will stretch their limits and expose their true weakness and strengths. An epic finale to an epic series.

🖤 paranormal/ romantasy
🖤 MMF/ MFM
🖤 BD&M themed
🖤 antihero
🖤 epic second chance

The plot is very complex and I apparently skipped book two. Charlotte has achieved immortality because her fiance Lucifer has gifted her his redemption but they still need to save the world. Lucifer has lost almost all his power and his celestial siblings aka the seven sins are not very reliable alliance. Azrael aka the Reaper is the only one he can trust. Or can he? They have long standing history, from the day of creation and decisions ripped them apart. Sharing Charlotte isn't easy at all but she is all who matters. As Charlotte struggles with her own power and their impending doom if Lucifer's father aka God decides to bring Apocalypse along with Michael opening the seals of the Four Horsemen..she also has to decide what to do with her love for both Azrael and Lucifer.

I am extremely jealous of Charlotte. She has two soul mates. Lucifer shows his love with pain and Azrael with praise. And they are so devoted to her. To the level that they can put their millenia long issues aside to protect her. Lucifer refuses to show his vulnerabilities or his weakness towards Azrael as he is still operating on anger and destruction. Azrael have secrets and plans but all he ever did was to protect Lucifer even though it broke his heart. Charlotte is torn between two immortals who own her at different levels but this last saga is all about her elevation to the wicked and powerful celestial she really is. It was about embracing her dark side while staying true to the humanity. I was once again enthralled by the writing. It was so poetic. The emotions pierced my heart over and over again. The celestial power play was magnificent. I was barely keeping myself together through the explosive revelations, the dangerous strategies, the endless twists and the devastating turns. It was a hard earned happily ever after for everyone. But not before almost losing it all. Two powerful celestial falling for the woman they love beyond any immortality..it cannot be anymore romantic than this.

A dark and devilish ending to the Original Sinners trilogy by Kait Ballenger

Beautiful Redeemer begins where Book 2, Wicked Believer, ended. This series was a wild and sexy ride, and I loved every minute of it. I loved the dual-narrated audiobook narration by Isabelle Turner (Charlotte), Ethan Reid (Lucifer), and Troy Duran (Azrael).

An unholy wedding, a wicked war, and a whole lot of adult situations. Since this is the final book, I will not get into details of the story, so here is a list of what to expect.

Dark Paranormal Romance set in NYC
Devil x Daughter of Religious Leader x Death Incarnate
Seven Deadly Sins in Human Form
Dark Paranormal Romance
Stalking
Sibling Rivalry
Apocalyptic Devastation
Emotionally Damaged FMC
Morally Black MMCs
Touch Her & ☠️
Found Power / Awakening Desire
Immortal x Mortal
Celestial war / Angels vs Demons
Religious Trauma
Abuse Survivor
A Whole Lot of Cursing
Why Choose - SPICY

"I'm in love with the Angel of Death and the Devil.
Because for some love stories, death isn't the end.
It's just the beginning."

This is an adult book meant for 18+, and trigger warnings should be reviewed before diving into this series. It's a story about the devil, so of course it's wicked. I love a good dark romance, and Kait delivers. Thank you, Kait, for the ALC of this book before its release on 5/26. I loved every minute of this story.

Thank you Brilliance Audio for the ALC.

PHEW, what a RIDE this series was, start to finish.

If you're going to give this series a go, I HIGHLY recommend the audiobooks! All of the narrators were incredibly fantastic, and they NAIL the spicy content--get ready to take a cold shower or 12! I generally listen at 2.5x speed, and didn't have any issues with words being garbled or cut off when listening. Overall an A+ listening experience.

And the story? I mean, TWO dom daddies, and they're Death and Lucifer? It hurts watching other people live your dreams. Sure, there's an apocalypse to deal with and Lilith/Michael are on some BS, but it's fine. Totally worth it.

If you've read the first two books, you already know what you're getting into--Charlotte's a brat, still working on healing from her longstanding trauma at the hands of her church. And she's still working through things in this book. As much as I understand that it's a process and requires a LOT of unlearning, I wish that by the end of this she had been more healed and part of "team burn it to the ground" vs team "understanding and still processing trauma." I mean, I could let go of things pretty quickly if I was Lucifier's girlfriend and had...other things going for me on top of that.

But overall I LOVED this series and devoured it in less than a week. I'll take any and all spin-offs IMMEDIATELY, thanks!!

🌟🔥 Beautiful Redeemer is the breathtaking, explosive finale of Kait Ballenger’s Original Sinners trilogy! This story is a rollercoaster of passion, power, and divine chaos that kept me utterly captivated from start to finish. 😍👑

The heroine’s journey from reluctant queen of Hell to a fierce, unstoppable force is so inspiring. Her desire breaks every boundary, she’s bold, fiery, and unapologetically sinful. 💋🔥 Lucifer, her devilish husband, teases her with kisses and lashings, feeding her power and temptation in the most seductive ways. And Azrael, the mysterious angel of death, tempts her with brutal devotion that’s impossible to resist. She’s caught in a whirlwind of love and war, and I couldn’t look away. 😱💖

The stakes are sky-high, apocalypse looming, sky splitting, and the righteous hunting them with holy fire. The heroine’s secret, her greatest weapon, is a tiny, hopeful miracle growing inside her—a symbol of salvation or damnation.

This story is a perfect blend of dark romance, divine conflict, and raw emotion. It’s a powerful conclusion that will leave you breathless, eager to see if love can survive even the most apocalyptic battles. 📚 If you love stories about forbidden love, celestial wars, and a heroine who rises from the ashes, Beautiful Redeemer is a must-read—an epic, fiery finale that will stay with you long after the last page. ✨🔥💕

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC of this book. I have chosen to write this honest review voluntarily and it reflects my personal opinion.
The author has put in a lot of work to take religious tales / beliefs and turn them into credible events, and this works very well within the plotline. There is a page of warnings at the start of the book for the very explicit descriptions, and readers should be aware of this - those who enjoy this genre will not be disappointed.
Like the previous book there are a lot of characters and I found this confusing at times; there is a short list of the main characters at the start of the book, along with their alternate names, but it became quite disruptive to keep flipping back and forth. The character of Charlotte is developed but I thought her emotions and behaviours came across as indecisive and very confused, not the strong female she is meant to be.
I believe many other readers will enjoy this final book but it wasn't for me and I gave up just over halfway through.

Pardon me while I go simultaneously cry and laugh and scream into the void. This whole trilogy was absolutely incredible, and this book, in particular, was nothing short of a masterpiece! Kait Ballenger gave us such an amazing cast of characters, and I could not have loved this any more!! Getting to see the continuation of Charlotte's journey and healing was so stunning and I absolutely adored getting to see her find her own power and strength! Not to mention the absolutely gorgeous path that we got to see Lucifer on, and how he grew and came to the most stunning self-realizations around his identity and relationships! And Azreal was just sheer perfection, and I have no other words for him! This whole book was just incredible, and once again had the ideal blend of story, heart, and spice! I cannot say enough about how much I loved this trilogy, and this book!! Overall, if you're a dark romance person, I highly suggest that you do NOT skip over these books!! 5 stars; 4.25 chili peppers

"Beautiful Redeemer" by Kait Ballenger was a beautiful ending to the "Original Sinners" trilogy. I have absolutely loved reading these books, and this book did not disappoint. The second book had me wanting the third book as soon as I was done reading it. Now that I had the chance to listen to an advanced reader audiobook from NetGalley, I can't wait to read them again. Kait has a way of capturing your attention and having you wanting more. I enjoyed following Charlotte and seeing who and what she would choose in the end. The way she handled things was absolutely fantastic. I can't help but love the relationship between Charlotte, Lucifer, and Azrael. Lucifer is definitely my favorite character in this book. There are many scenes that I absolutely loved, I don't want to spoil anything, so I recommend giving this book and series a read. The narrators for the audiobook did a wonderful job. Overall, Kait did an amazing job with this book and has made me a fan of her writing style.

Thank you so much to NetGalley, Montclair and Kait Ballenger for sharing this ARC with me, in exchange for my honest opinions and thoughts.

Beautiful Redeemer is an epic conclusion to Ms. Kait's Original Sinners trilogy. A super intense, dark, paranormal romance, this book is ALL the things I needed. The character development and world building is perfect. The flow is fast, but not in the confusing way. Ms. Kait added just the right amount of morally grey spice and chaos, and I'm here to devour all of it LOL. Is this book dark and twisty? Yes, yes it is. Am I in love with this book? Also, yes.

I wholeheartedly recommend that y'all get y'alls hands on this book. Y'all can trust me on this one.

The central relationship between Charlotte, Lucifer and Azrael perfectly deliver the high stakes expectation of dark romance, but it is the overarching storyline that truly sets this book apart. Kait demonstrates exceptional skill in world-building, developing intricate character backgrounds and a distinct setting that feel entirely fresh. Furthermore, the audiobook adaptation is such a piece of art. The voice talent brings remarkable depth to the performance, masterfully articulating the characters' emotional complexities and internal conflicts.

Great ending, overall, amazing series.

Thank you to Kait, her team and NetGallery for allowing me to preview this book before its release tomorrow!

An Explosive Conclusion

Dark intense sensual read full of action, deception, obsession, forbidden desire with some shocking twists that will captivate all your senses as the plot goes deeper and deeper.

The sizzle and steamy moments get hotter and hotter as the tension increases to give you a satisfying conclusion to this trilogy that you won’t forget for a long while.

A seriously dark emotional page-turning read which I couldn’t put down!

I voluntarily read and reviewed this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

Thanks to NetGalley, Montlake, and Kait Ballenger for the ARC in exchange for my honest thoughts.

Beautiful Redeemer is intense and dark, but for me, it didn’t land the way I hoped. The world-building and character development were okay, but the pacing felt rushed in places, and the tension and romance never fully pulled me in. The morally grey chaos and “spicy” moments were there, but I just couldn’t connect with the story or the characters as much as I wanted.

Overall, it was a decent conclusion for fans of the series, but not a favorite for me.

This is messy in all the best ways, the drama keeps you turning page after page. The narrators did a fantastic job and the both the plot and the spice are *chef kiss * it’s like hades x Persephone, supernatural and 50 shades of grey all rolled into one. Honestly props to the three of them because I don’t think I’d find the time or energy to hump like rabbits during the apocalypse but they make it work. Priorities. The narrators added the perfect inflection and emotion to really bring this to life . Thanks to netgalley, the author, publisher and the narrators for my alc.

4/5 stars Beautiful Redeemer is a fun, high-energy wrap-up to the original sinners trilogy with lots of tension, drama, and heat.
The characters are intense and messy in a way that keeps things interesting, and the paranormal elements are easy to get pulled into.
It does lean into some familiar tropes, but the pacing is solid and the emotional moments land well. Overall, it’s an entertaining, satisfying read and a great choice if you enjoy spicy paranormal romance.
