The Spark reimagines creation as a daring experiment in free will.
Through the eyes of Elion, a young creator who gifts his beings the power of choice, this short yet sweeping work of literary fiction explores love, suffering, and the divine spark that burns within us all.
At once mythic and deeply human, The Spark is a story of imperfection and resilience—of what it means to falter, rise again, and discover the quiet beauty of becoming.
The Spark is a beautiful take on creation that made me think about life in a new way. Watching Elion give his creations the gift of choice felt both hopeful and heartbreaking. The writing is simple but powerful and every page holds a quiet kind of wisdom. It shows how struggle and love are part of what makes us human. This story may be short but its message stays with you long after you finish it.
This is an interesting celestial take on the story of creation and the world of the gods that envisioned this Earth. An ethereal exploration of the state of humanity, free will, and the role of the creator. There are strong religious themes in this story, which generally I don’t connect with, but this was pretty well written, and a thought-provoking piece.
