5/5 "Still here after all she went through, spitting fire. She wears her attitude like a cloak draped over her body. Not a shield, but an accessory. She's beautiful. " I freaking adore Levi and Tab!! We left off with not knowing how Tab was after the fire. E.M. does such a good job of writing books that feel so real. You can feel and understand Tab's pain as she tries to heal mentally and physically from the fire. Levi...oh Levi. I adore these men that are all in with their woman!! A reformed playboy? Check. Totally obsessed? Check! Another football player that falls first? Check!! These two are such a great pairing and I cannot wait to read about the next couple, especially if that teaser at the end is the next couple!!

I really wanted to love this. I was excited for Tab & Levi. I just couldn’t really see the chemistry and the way Levi was with Tab was mediocre. Yeah he climbed a fire escape and was persistent and funny, but how did he actually love Tab? I also feel like Raeanne and Micah weren’t themselves. Sure they didn’t need a large role but they felt off. I wish Tab had more of a backbone and Levi was less… Levi. Also being reminded all the time he was a playboy and stuff was irking.

MF Sports Romance

I loved it!!! And I’m not mad anymore 😂. I was so mad at the ending of the first book, but I’m better now. This is emotional, funny (the banter was top tier) and spicy. There’s definitely some twists I wasn’t expecting and we didn’t get it tied up neatly in this book but I’m assuming after that ending we’ll get those loose ends tied up in the next book in Davis’ story.

This starts a month after the events at the end of book one of the series. Tab is still recovering but she’s ashamed of being ‘damaged’ and refuses to think of herself as a victim. But she is starting to go stir crazy but both Raeanne and Micah have been taking care of her and keeping everyone away…. Or as Levi calls them, her wardens.
Levi just happens to be at the right place when Tab finally ventures out. He’s been asking about her and wanting to get to know her better and make her his, but the ‘wardens’ have been blocking him….. and now he has his opening.

A year ago Levi signed on to do a dating show….. he now knows that was a mistake when all he wants is to make Tab his.
He is such a sweet guy wanting to do anything for her to prove how sincere he is about wanting to be with her and being there for her during the thick and thin.

No cheating, no OWD, no third act breakup with a HFN

* Reformed Playboy
* Friends to Lovers
* Secret Relationship
* Boy Obsessed (but in a Green Flag way) 😉
* He Falls First
* Flowers 💐 🌺 & Fire Escapes
* Scarred FMC
* Pro Football Player MMC

Looking forward to the next book in this series!!!

“Seeing her lying on the sidewalk that day woke me up. It made me understand things in a way I hadn’t bothered to look at before. Our lives are precious. The people we have in it are too. I used to make fun of Micah and some of the other guys for acting like their girls walked on water. Now I understand they do.”

“I used to think I wanted the quick fling. The type where we could satisfy each other and leave, but in this moment, I know I had it wrong all along. I want someone to fall asleep with and wake up with. I want someone to talk about my day with and grow together.”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Even darker, hotter, and more addictive than the first book!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Even darker, hotter, and more addictive than the first book!

Catching His Obsession completely pulled me in from the first chapter and refused to let go. If you thought the obsession in the first book was intense, this one takes it to a whole new level.

E. M. Moore knows exactly how to write a hero who is dangerously possessive, completely obsessed, and absolutely devoted to the woman he wants. The male main character isn’t just protective—he’s the kind of man who watches, waits, and makes it very clear that once he chooses her, there’s no escape from the way he feels.

What I loved most about this story is the emotional depth behind the obsession. The heroine isn’t just someone for the hero to chase—she’s complex, guarded, and dealing with her own struggles. Watching her slowly realize that someone sees her, wants her, and refuses to let her face the world alone made the story even more powerful.

The chemistry between them is electric. Every interaction is filled with tension, jealousy, and those moments where the hero’s obsession shows in the most intense ways. The push and pull between them keeps the story addictive, and the spice is definitely there.

The football setting adds the perfect backdrop—high pressure, high stakes, and a hero who is used to winning but finds himself completely consumed by one woman.

E. M. Moore continues to build this world of powerful athletes, dark emotions, and consuming love in a way that keeps you turning pages long past when you should have stopped.

🔥 If you love dark sports romances with obsessive heroes, protective energy, intense chemistry, and emotional depth, this book absolutely delivers.

I finished it already wanting the next story in the Gridiron Gods series.

I fell in love with E.M. Moore’s stories when I first read Spring Hill Blues, and Catching His Obsession just reminded me why. This is book two in the Gridiron Gods series, and while it absolutely delivers, you do need to read these in order since the overarching storyline that starts in Scoring His Obsession continues here.

And I’m just going to say it… I need book three immediately, because what do you mean it ends like that?!

One of my favorite parts of this series is getting little cameos from our favorite MMCs and their WAGs from past books. I was especially excited seeing Reid and Briar pop up throughout the story.
Levi Soucy — the blue-eyed, dark-haired MMC (because let’s be honest, they could be written with blond with green eyes and I would still picture dark hair every time 😅) — quickly learns why his friends and teammates had no problems settling down once the right woman entered the picture. The way he shows up for Tab in whatever way she needs is completely swoon-worthy.

If you’re looking for a football romance where the guy falls harder, a story where the girl’s long-time crush actually picks her, and a little bit of mystery woven through a storyline that spans multiple books and couples, this series is for you.

Now I’m just over here impatiently waiting for book three because that ending left me needing answers.

More than you bargained for....

This book kept me turning page after page, fighting newborn tiredness to get more of the story and I am here for it.

There is something charming about Levi Soucy and something so captivating with Tabatha (Tab) . Yes Levi is the hot alpha, with a playboy reputation and he falls first.and hard energy we love to read about. Annnndddd yes, Tab makes him work for it...but there is something so so enthralling about their relationship and their story. Then you add in the banter, the heat and the general brilliance that is Moore and you have one hell of a story.

This author truly brings something unique to all her sports romances that just makes the world disappear. The stories are always so different, I appreciate the way mental health representation is effortlessly intertwined into the story, it never becomes an add on or a characters only focus. Yes, It forms part of the characters journey but not their only story ; the chemistry always sizzles and the side characters make you feel emotions too.

I'd recommend this book to anyone who likes their romances, dreamy but with a hint of reality, fun with an edge and honest.

There are no real words to describe the feelings this book evoked and that ending...just 😱🤯😳...no words..... Thank you but also can I have book 3 now....please...

Catching His Obsession is book two in the Gridiron Gods Series. It is a steamy, emotional, football romance with forced proximity, trauma healing, and a possessive, reformed playboy who falls first. The story is told in first person with dual POV.

Things changed for Levi the night he saw Tab being pulled from a burning building. That was the night he realized that she was his. Tab is struggling with her injuries and the aftermath of the fire, but Levi is determined to help her heal and make her realize that she is his and he is hers.

This was such an awesome read. I loved Tab and Levi together. Their chemistry was amazing and their story was beautiful. I loved the emotion and the banter. I also loved catching up to Micah and Raeann again too.

The writing, pace, flow, plot, characters, storyline, storytelling, character development, relationship development, and world building were all amazing.

If you love a healing story with a possessive/obsessive MMC who will do anything for the FMC, then I'd definitely recommend this book.

Thank you so very much to E.M. Moore for the ARC; all thoughts and opinions expressed in this review are 100% my own

Tab isn’t just guarded for no reason. She survived an apartment fire that left her with severe burns and scarring on her arms. That trauma shapes everything — how she sees herself, how she lets people look at her, how she assumes she’ll be judged.

And then there’s Luka.

Yes, he’s the playboy. Yes, he has the reputation. But when he locks onto Tab? It’s done. What I loved most is how quickly he makes sure she knows she’s special. Not pitied. Not handled gently. Special. Desired. Beautiful. He doesn’t shy away from her scars — he treats them like they’re part of the woman he’s obsessed with.

And he is obsessed. Not in a toxic way — in a “your happiness is now my personal mission” way. He supports her, defends her, reassures her, and falls hard without apology. The contrast between his reputation and how he shows up for Tab is what makes this work.

Watching Tab slowly believe she’s worthy of that kind of devotion? That’s the emotional payoff.

Tab and Levi

This emotional story follows Levi and Tab. After the first book ended with a cliffhanger we start this one there just with a new couple.
Tabhita went through the worst when her apartment caught fire with her in it and she got out with burns and scars on her arms. Now she is full of trauma and how she sees herself and how other people will look at her.
Only Levi seems to be able to pull her out of her thoughts. He doesn’t care about her scars. He shows her that he is obsessed with her and does not handle her like he pities her.
Despite him having a certain reputation, the way he acts with Tabhita is completely different.
An entertaining story with banters, spice and more. Some things are still out there and that might be found closure with the next book in this series.

Catching His Obsession: Gridiron Gods Series Book 2 ) Perfection absolute perfection, that’s exactly what this series is . I mean we’re only on Book 2 , and I’m so freaking obsessed with the absolutely amazing Series / world E.M Moore has so brilliantly created . Each couples story really does have a piece of my heart ❤️. But something about Tab and Levi’s journey really did resonate with me . I really cannot put my finger on exactly what it was . Maybe The struggles they went through, both together and apart the progression of their relationship , I really was not prepared for how completely in love and invested I found myself in these two . I adored how Levi was able to break her walls down especially after the traumatic experience she went through. How he supported her. How he was able to make her feel beautiful and wanted . Their story was just so very beautiful and extremely emotional. It really did wreck me in all the best ways .

I loved this book! Levi and Tab are such a great couple. I am not someone who hated third act breakups, but I absolutely LOVED that this book did not have one.

From the very start you are able to connect with these characters and see their growth throughout the book. Levi was depicted as the typical playboy in book one, but this book you really get to see him go through the transformation of figuring out that there is more to life. I love how patient and uplifting his was to Tab throughout the book. I also really enjoyed how Tab was able to vulnerable and feel her emotions and Levi because that safe space for her.

Lastly, the banter in the book was absolutely top tier. It made me laugh and fall even more in love with the characters. I highly recommend not only this book and series but this author in general. You will not be disappointed.

Get ready to add to your book boyfriends!

After the cliffhanger from Raeann & Micah’s book, I couldn’t wait to see what happened in this world next. The relief is real. I was literally desperate, panicking and crying at the end that this book healed me a little. My heart broke for the changes the FMC is having to live with but I absolutely adore her. The way she overcomes all her doubts and feelings, and still chooses to open her heart to Levi, you couldn’t help but love her. Levi is literally book boyfriend material, as soon as he finds his one, he’s all in and the way he pursues and woos her, you’ll find it hard to resist falling alongside her. I love their relationship, and seeing a lot of the side characters, new and old that I’ve come to love.
I can’t wait for the next book! Enjoyed every moment of it.

OMG so many feels with this one. In the aftermath of that doozy cliffhanger from book 1, we continue the story with a new couple, Levi and Tabitha. Scarred both mentally and physically, Tab is struggling to reacclimate with the outside world but the one person to pull her out of her head is Levi. And once Levi has his sights set on Tab, there's no stopping him from getting what he wants. Overcoming the mental obstacles she's facing, Tab shows immense strength in overcoming her hangups. And Levi is everything you could ever want in a man. Like... top level boyfriend material! But don't think it's all sunshine and flowers after that... Erin throws in some more last minute twists and turns to leave you hanging on the edge of your seat for the next installment.

E M Moore has an uncanny ability to suck you straight into a story, and make you love her characters! We all love Tab from Scoring His Obsession and I was so excited to finally have more of her story. She and Levi were so perfect together and he was exactly what she needed when she was at her lowest! The banter was so fun, and I felt the genuine emotions from both characters. This book did come across a little rushed compared to some of her other work, but that didn't take away from the enjoyment at all!! Loved this book, and can not wait for the next installment 🖤🖤🖤

I love how obsessed Levi is with Tab, without crossing into full-on crazy (for the most part). He was very clear from the beginning that Tab was it for him. I really felt for Tab, I cannot imagine surviving such a traumatic experience, then having to go through multiple surgeries to not be fully recovered. Her physical appearance will literally never be "normal"; that is a difficult thing to reconcile. Levi is the most smitten cinnamon roll to ever be frosted. I loved the female friendships as well as how the guys are all in for each other. I cannot wait for the next book!

E.M Moore has done it again! What a great second book to an amazing series. You don’t have to read the first book to love this book but you understand the characters and their backgrounds a little better if you do so I suggest making sure you read the 1st book. I loved Tab in the first book she was such a great friend and I am so happy we got to see her story especially after what happened to her! Levi is an amazing leading man! The right kind of obsession/stalker but still sweet. This is a must read and I cannot wait for the next book in the series.

Stalker light sports romance. It’s the Diet Coke of stalker romance, just one calorie, not quite stalkery enough. 😂 Levi is absolutely adorable in his obsession. He’s everything Tab’s could want or need and she’s completely perfect for him. While part of a larger series with overreaching plots, it can definitely be read as a standalone without missing a beat. I’m looking forward to Davis and Nala next and need to go back and revisit Micah and Raeann. 💜

The banter in here was fire. And the scene where Raeann comes to give Tab her meds and Levi keeps her distracted was one of the funniest and most creative I've ever read. Levi seemed shallow before, but we really got to peel back his layers and fall in love with him. Tab was strong, but she needed a partner who could anticipate her needs when she couldn't vocalize them. Levi fit that bill, and he made sure to keep showing up when she pushed him away. They had great chemistry!

Reading slump gone. The way I devoured this book was one for the books. I absolutely love the Gridiron Gods. A terrible accident leaves Tab recovering and feeling lost and scared of her future. Levi hot professional football player was there the night of the accident and felt a connection unlike hes ever felt with before.

These two are absolute fire and its so fun getting to read how their relationship turns from friends to forever.

I highly recommend making this your next read !

Sports romance books are either really good or really bad. I have read books that are on both sides of this. I am glad to be able to say that this is one of the good ones. Tab starts off the story struggling with self esteem after an accident that left her with visible injuries. How could anyone possibly see past them if she can't. Pity is not something that she wants. Can a playboy like Levi be serious? Pick up this book and watch as the situation unfolds.

Catching his Obsession is book 2 in the Gridiron Gods and follows Tab (whose friend and business partner - Raeann was the focus of book 1) & NFL player - Levi. Tab is suffering from the reprocussions of what happened at the end of book 1 which has left her with emotional and physical scars. That was the barricade stopping her from getting on with her life until Levi breezed into it with his own brand of easy going nature. That slowly broke down her barriers with plenty of banter and flirting. Which was kind of endearing in a way. I really liked Tab & Levi's dynamic in this book. With that ending I can't wait to see where that will lead in the next book.

What can I say…It’s a fantastic story for Tab and Levi! He falls hard and does everything right to make her believe he’s sincere about his feelings and he’s everything she needed to move forward after the fire. The banter between the characters, old and new, was great. I love how the story lines are coming together to figure out who the bad guy is and prove it. Can’t wait for the next story after that cliffhanger!!

I was so glad Tab got her happy ending. I loved Levi for her. I really liked the way he showed her his love. I liked the bit of suspense that was wove into the story. I like that it going to be an overreaching storyline even if the end kind of made me want the next book now. Overall it was a good read.

OMG I could not put this book down Levi has been in love with Tab since the fire. Tab is just trying to figure out what is next and how her life will be. This book was amazing Levi did everything to show her he was perfect for her and she was perfect as she is. This book left off on small cliffhanger from the over arcing story and will be with a new couple.

This was so sweet! I loved seeing how Levi became the man he knew deep down he wanted to be. And with Tab no less! She’s such an amazing character. She shows such strength trying to overcome everything after the fire. I think Levi inserting himself in Tab’s life with no shame definitely helps accomplish things. I am definitely curious to see how things progress with McNally!

After book one’s shocking ending, I wasn’t sure what to expect.

I did get a yummy, overly obsessive jock who could make my panties melt. And a heroine who you root for from the start.

Levi and Tab(itha) are cute together and the way he is there for a traumatized woman is just so adorable.

Steamy slow burn and of course with another shocker at the end for the next book.

This series is absolutely amazing. I'm thoroughly enjoying the stories, and Levi's one is no exception. I love how he's all in with Tabitha and is devoted from the very start. He's gentle when he needs to be and doesn't let her put herself down. I can't wait to see a certain person get what they deserve. The cliffhanger was brilliant, and I'm on tenderhooks for the next book.

Tab and Levi are so beautiful together.

Levi does everything he can possibly think of to help Tab recover and regain confidence after a fire left her scarred. Hes patient, attentive and becomes fully obsessed with the girl that captured his heart.

This book is full of heartwarming moments, steamy scenes and banter to keep you laughing past bedtime.
