What if everything you thought you knew about your life was a lie?
After the tragic death of her mother, Emma’s carefully sheltered world unravels. A hidden birthright stirs awake inside her, revealing a dangerous heritage tied to the secret realms of Faerie—a world where Vampires, Witches, Shifters, and Fae walk in shadows beside humankind.
Thrust into a reality her mother tried desperately to keep hidden, Emma must navigate courtly intrigues, ancient magic, and a prophecy that whispers of her role in a conflict that could reshape both worlds. Yet her greatest challenge may be resisting the magnetic pull of the future Alpha whose presence both unsettles and ignites something deep within her.
As enemies close in and allies become harder to trust, Emma must decide who she is, what power she carries, and whether destiny is something to fight…or to claim.
Fans of dark fantasy, slow-burn romance, and richly woven supernatural worlds will be captivated by Emma’s journey into a legacy she never asked for—and a fate she can’t escape.
So I don’t necessarily know if this deserves five stars because there were a couple grammatical errors nothing too big but there were some. I was hesitant to read the book in the first place because all the reviews were nothing but five stars and I get a little bit wary when I see that but this book was actually really excellent. It’s very simple yet engaging it reminds me a bit of books from back in the day when we were reading about basics of fantasy books. Some people may like that some people may not I really enjoyed it and I would definitely recommend. The book is not a standalone so we’ll have to wait for more books. Hopefully, they’ll come out soon. I’m looking forward to reading more of Emma.
What...noooo...Where is the rest, when will it be written or released? The story line was great, the relationship between the characters believable, the pace wonderful. This book kept me reading until I was at the end, way to soon and with a cliff hanger. Please Ms. Myers, let me know when I will be able to read the continuation of Emma's story.
