beautiful and well written, the only issue i had was no trigger warnings BUT i loved the story.
taylor will always have a special place in my heart, the way she continued to fight even when things got tough. she held her head high against the evil man that took everything from her. she continued to fight even when she wanted to give up.
jake, mr jake freaking lawson what a man!!! he really stepped it up. he was there for Taylor every single second, he didn’t let her do it alone especially when she needed someone. he held her hand, reassured her and kept walking with her even when nights got worse and her nightmares never ended.
this book was powerful, showing everyone to never give up. always have your person next to you, whether it’s family, friends or someone you love. thank you for such an amazing book and giving me the chance to read it! ❤️

Emotional, Uplifting,and hard to put down 📚
The Road Between Us is a heartfelt romantic story that handles a tough subject with grace and depth. Taylor’s journey of overcoming her past is inspiring and keeps you turning the pages. The author’s vivid descriptions make you feel like you’re right there—walking the road, feeling the breeze, and experiencing every emotion alongside the characters. It’s an easy, immersive read that’s hard to put down. I’m already looking forward to reading more from this author.

This is such a wonderful book—deep and heartfelt, uplifting-giving hope to so many of us who have experienced similar situations. The Road Between Us is easy to read and hard to put down!

Great short read!
Jake and Taylor were best friends until they realized there was more to them. This story shows true and unconditional love. Jake helped Taylor through the good and bad times, grounded her, and never left her side! Excellent book!
The only thing I didn’t like was that the author referred to them as their full name throughout the book instead of just she/him.

Not the genre of book I usually read, but it was well written and I enjoyed it. Congratulations to Autumn on her debut as a novelist.
