It is used by Jehovah’s Witnesses to support their worldwide work, which includes publishing Bibles and Bible-based literature.
According to its charter, the corporation’s purposes are “religious, educational, and charitable,” in particular, to “preach and teach the gospel of God’s Kingdom under Christ Jesus.” Membership in the corporation is by invitation only and is not based on how much a person has donated. The corporation members and directors assist the Governing Body of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

The 2015 Yeartext was - “Give thanks to Jehovah, for he is good.”—Psalm 106:1.
How many individuals do you know whom you would classify as “good”? True, the word “good” is often used to describe people who stand out in some way. They may be those who are pleasant, agreeable, honorable, virtuous, loyal, kind, competent, skillful, and so forth. In fact, the Bible tells us that “a good name is to be chosen rather than great wealth.”—Prov. 22:1.
That is just a thought to start the 365 daily thoughts off with that are spread throughout this year of 2015.
