Erica is officially allergic to love. After her last relationship wrecked her heart, her finances, and—let’s be honest—her mental health, she’s done. Completely.
Love is for people who haven’t learned their lesson yet. Luckily, cynicism pays well when your new boss is the heir to Kouassi Chocolates, a company that literally sells romance for a living. Valentine’s Day is their Super Bowl.
Richard Perry is brilliant, impossible, and infuriatingly good-looking. He also happens to think “executive assistant” means “personal miracle worker.” Erica just needs to survive the season without quitting. Or kissing him. Or both.
But between twelve-hour days, impossible deadlines, and chemistry that should come with a warning label, Erica starts to realize that the one thing she’s sworn off might be the one thing she can’t resist.
A Valentine’s Day romance dipped in desire and hot, melting chocolate.

Within the first few pages, I was hooked! Erica and Richard's love story is so much fun! His hidden love for her pulled on my heart at the first chapter. Her frustration with her selfish boss keeps the mood light and funny.
I couldn't put this one down, it has so many fun twists and turns! Such a fun February RomCom!
Samara Jones' holiday series books are a must read!
3⭐2🌶️ ARC Dual POV First Person 258pgs Erica and Richard Felt like too many bad things were thrown at them, and then were mostly solved easily and quickly. Erica did have some growing/learning about herself, which I liked. The story felt very surface level, not very deep or all that serious.
