the men here are so fine. except the og ml, that bastard is trash. fl is so slay, she's such a cool older sister, literally all the kids here love her💗

¿Qué puedo decir? Desde el principio tanto la trama como los personajes me engancharon en un mundo donde jamás pensé que me llegara a gustar tanto. A pesar de la brevedad de la historia hasta ahora, siento que pude conocer bien a los personajes sin que en ningún momento se volviera tedioso o cayera demasiado en el cliché (que sí, en ciertas ocasiones parece juego otome con tanto prospecto, pero con el giro divertido de cada uno es más fácil aceptarlo para mí).
Ahora bien, sí que me gustaría una segunda temporada porque le agarré un cariño enorme a los 3 pequeños diablillos del amor (˘ ε ˘ʃƪ●), con la mención honorífica a Isaac que no pude evitar verlo como la versión animada de Mingyu (por lo tanto mi gusto culposo) y a "su alteza" porque físicamente me recordó a aquellos tiempos de Mystic Messenger con Zen (my beloved).
En fin, Mel ¡te espero con ansias!

I somehow managed to drag myself all the way to chapter 40. This was honestly a very dull read for me. The main character has been reincarnated into the villainess and uses the money the duke gives her to "leave the household" to open a store for children. I don't know why it's called a stationary store, because the shop she has is very much NOT a stationary store. It's closer to a child boutique of some sort. There's some weird plot line that she's been cursed by a Dragon that I don't understand. The plot feels pretty random, as do the events that happen. I completely forgot the FL is technically a reincarnation character because it's literally not mentioned, except for once or maybe twice, for a brief moment. The art is pretty, I'll give it that.

[5/5] Primera temporada, capítulos del 1 al 40.
Ayy, ¡tantas cosas para decir de esta historia! Pero creo que podría resumirlo en que me encanta y que ha sido de las mejores sorpresas (y lecturas) que tuve este año.
No se trata de un manhwa muy conocido ni he visto a muchas personas hablar de él, y tal vez eso fue lo que dejó las puertas abiertas para que me sorprendiera y encontrara con todo lo que no esperé encontrarme: mucha comedia, una protagonista sumamente inteligente, empoderada, divertida y más dulce que la miel; una trama que aumenta de tamaño y se infla cual globo y un arte preciosísimo. Esta historia es un mejunje perfecto de romance, humor, suspenso, misterios y secretos, magia y criaturas fantásticas de todo tipo, amigos que llegaron para quedarse, enemigos que siempre estuvieron allí y que cada vez se hacen más imponentes, entramados sociales y varias posibilidades románticas interesantes (¡imposible decidirse por solo un bando!), además de un trasfondo y pensamientos profundos en cada uno de los personajes que los hace únicos y diferentes entre sí.
Empecé a leer esta historia sin saber qué me iba a encontrar en sus paneles, pensando que iba a ser un poco más de lo mismo, pero terminó siendo una aventura increíble, con muchos momentos dramáticos, otros muy chistosos, otros muy dulces (tal como las golosinas estridentes que vende la protagonista en su tienda) y otros muy intrigantes.
Destaco los personajes niños que son, aquí, un gran pilar para la historia y el desarrollo de la trama. Todos y cada uno de ellos se destaca a su manera, influencian en muchas cosas y en otros personajes, y me encanta que sean el verdadero huracán y no sus referentes adultos: que la protagonista se relacione más con el pequeño príncipe que con el heredero al trono, con la pequeña genio que con su hermano y excomprometido, y con el pequeño hechicero gruñón que con el que aparenta ser el posible personaje masculino principal. Me encanta también cada una de sus interacciones con la protagonista; Mel es alguien muy amorosa y amable, y de alguna que otra forma siempre termina ganándose los corazoncitos de los más pequeños como también lo hizo con nosotros los lectores, con su encanto, su simpatía, su ingenio y su gran interés en traerle felicidad a aquellos que la sociedad había dejado relegados a un segundo plano.
Creo que influenciaron algunas circunstancias personales mías relacionadas al trato con los niños al hecho de que esté leyendo cada vez más historias con pequeños como personajes principales o personajes importantes de distintas tramas. Es esta una de las mejores que he leído hasta ahora porque los proyecta de una manera especial, enfatizando en su inocencia pero también en lo genial que puede ser convivir con ellos, sus cabecitas y sus ocurrencias.
Me he encariñado no solo con los pequeños sino también con ese personaje del que sabemos desde el comienzo que se convertirá en uno de los mayores aliados de la protagonista y gran ayuda para cumplir su sueño de abrir una stationery store. Me encanta la relación casi de hermandad que mantienen, lo bien que se entienden y la dinámica en general en su convivencia y en el trabajar juntos para sobrellevar las locuras del día a día.
Como ya adelanté, los posibles intereses amorosos están allí, casi servidos en bandeja de plata, pero la protagonista (por ahora) no tiene cabeza para eso y es justamente eso lo que le da un toque refrescante y diferente a la historia en general. Más allá de eso, estos personajes se hacen querer e interesarse en ellos, en sus pasados, en sus personalidades y en sus sentimientos. Quiero conocerlos más y quiero verlos en acción cada vez más, como también espero ver más interacciones entre ellos con la protagonista y, ¿por qué no?, con los demás niños de la historia. Disfruté mucho de cada una de sus apariciones, aparte de que me agrada que los autores hayan decidido hacerlos todos green flag (dejando de lado a los villanos, por supuesto). ¡Qué buenos tiempos para estar vivos! ¿Por qué elegir uno si podemos apoyar todas las ships al mismo tiempo?
Mi fanatismo no me permite pensar en un análisis bien proporcionado de esta historia (no es muy común que le dé cinco estrellas a una historia que acabo de conocer), por lo que solo puedo reiterar que es muy divertida, que el arte es muy lindo y refrescante, y que vale la pena, sin ninguna duda alguna, darle una oportunidad. De hecho, tardé tanto en terminar esta primera temporada porque no podía soltarla, y eso para mí es un factor sumamente importante al momento de pensar en cuánto influyó en mí.
Espero leer, el año que viene, la segunda temporada y poder seguir disfrutando de la mano de estos personajes y de sus distintos trayectos, mientras apuntan a cumplir con sus respectivas metas y, en el caso de la protagonista, defenderla y apoyarla en su sueño de emprendimiento y de libertad.
¡No se queden sin conocer esta historia!

this is just for the first season which i think is less than the 69 chapters i read
really good! the art is pretty and i like that the fl didn't even entertain the idea of taking the og ml back which is a breath of fresh air bcs there are so many stories where the fl does that even though he killed her in the original story or sm crazy like that. also like how she's not overly kind and naive while also not being cruel. lots of regression/transmigration stories have the fl either be so nice its self detrimental and foolish or unreasonably cruel, both of which are hard to read, but this is a good middle. she's also really smart and doesn't hesitate to put her knowledge to her advantage (none of that "i can't change the plot of the original novel!!!" bs thank GOD) like when she got dominic out of the sword before the og ml or when she made the og ml confess to his affair and plans in front of everyone in a ballroom w/magic
the characters in general are so refreshing too- i like how she genuinely cares abt the kids, esp marissa despite her being the sister of her ex. the male lead candidates are refreshing too, nothing like the usual "cold duke of the north" or "tyrant crown prince" bs- there's the crown prince who while acknowledges he likes her + realizes she doesn't like him and doesn't make a move and also doesn't do any weird favours that are unfair considering his position which is good bcs he's literally the crown prince- i hate when they do stuff like that bcs you're supposed to be an unbiased ruler omg. and the main ml candidate is great!!! rarely do you ever see a fl end up with a tower master and he isn't the typical tower master either (who are usually mischivious, have long hair, are thinner/frailer looking, are pale with white or other strangely coloured hair, and wear robes).
FINALLY an ml who actually cares abt kids!!! there's two kids who are part of the magic tower and he's soooooo gentle and sweet with them, and is also so sweet with other kids like the second prince and marissa, not to mention other bakcground characters. i'm so tired of seeing mls that are emotionally closed off, toxic, and downright cruel to the fl by being overly possesive and controlling and he's not like that at ALL. first of all, hes dark skinned with black hair and dark eyes and i'm SO HAPPY it's never expanded upon. usually in manhwas there's some sort of offensive or "exotic" reasoning/backstory, like the fact that characters are tan bcs they're "dark" or "cursed/evil" or that they are or are the children of "exotic desert or cursed ppl" and so on which is just racist (either overtly or subtely) which takes me out immediately. those characters also tend to be weird and will do anything for the fl which perpetuates the stereyotype that dark skinned men are creepy and obsessive which SUCKS. this ml is so normal??????? he likes the fl but isn't weird or possessive of her and never oversteps any boundaries, even remarking that he doesn't wanna overstep and will wait for her to ask him for help instead of barging in assuming he can help just bcs he likes her. he's also very different from other tower masters bcs his outfit is more akin to that of a knight's casual clothes + cape, hes built for some reason (not complaining), tan, kind, cares abt kids, not obsessive, etc., i could go on forever
theres probably more stuff i liked that i missed but it's okay, i think i got across how much i like this with what i already have, and if i add more it's gonna become an essay as opposed to a review TT

Lady Meldenik is a Duke's daughter living a cold & tough life. No one in her home cares about her or loves her. Her father who married another woman after her mother's death doesn't care either. Her step-sister is having affair with her fiancé. She isn't allowed to go out much. So, one day when a modern day woman who loved this novel, dies and travels to the body of Meldenik, she decides to live differently. So, Meldenik leaves her father's home. Becomes disowned by her family & breaks up her engagement with her fiancé who is a total douchebag.
She starts a stationary shop with the help of a Dominic who is a spirit living in a holy sword. She meets the cute young prince who is studying in the academy in front of her shop. The young prince tells her, he will bring his older brother, who he thinks is going to be a good match for the lady. However, another kid who is friends with the prince has another idea -the Mage Tower's head will be the best for the lady. & then there's little sister of the jerk-ex-fiance who is sorry towards the lady & wants to help find true love for her. The Three Musketeers take their mission to help the lady very seriously. They fell in love with her after all.
So, who will the lady fall in love with? Dominic, the Crown Prince, The Tower Master or someone else? Who the hell is the villain of our girl's story? Dunno!!! The manga is on going & I currently don't want to go for the web-novel. I might soon though, the suspense is killing me and the Manhwa will probably take another year to complete the story. Still, look forward to the completed Manhwa someday. I liked the art & I wanna see more of the story. Its fun to read Manhwas.

the villainess's stationery shop has interesting ideas, but the narrative gets stunted by vibe-killing random info dumps. one panel the protagonist would be excited about opening up her shop and the next panel would suddenly trauma dump. there was a panel where she was literally like, "i was homeless, i was orphaned, etc" right after laughing about how she wanted to set up her shop. the whiplash was borderline-annoying. i don't like when trauma is used like that. i really like the idea of her sword, but his personality is lukewarm and almost-nonexistent. the actual villain is a misogynistic dipwad and, while his behavior does get checked by the villainess, i don't feel like the payoff is worth it because i know it's setting up for him to remain in the story. i might continue this but it's not a high priority for me.

Espere casi... tres meses por esta historia, por que llegara al final de su primer temporada y disfrutarla... PERO COMO LA VAN A TERMINAR ASÍ, VOY A TENER QUE ESPERAR UN AÑO AAAAHHH
bueno, de manera civilizada diré que es una historia buena, atrapante aunque su traducción al español me confundió un poco... ya que papelería se supone que es como una librería y acá era más como una... dulceria? Un kiosko? Supongo que eso al inicio me desilusionó un poco porque ya tenía una idea y cambió a lo loco.
Pese a eso, es interesante, no es la mejor historia que leí pero es safable Y EL QUE CREO Q ES EL PROTA OMG QUE GUAPO ES, muy pocas veces hay hombres morenos y dios que guapo que lo hicieron.
El dibujo le doy un 10/10

Pese a eso, es interesante, no es la mejor historia que leí pero es safable Y EL QUE CREO Q ES EL PROTA OMG QUE GUAPO ES, muy pocas veces hay hombres morenos y dios que guapo que lo hicieron.

4.25 - Hope the author uploads season 2 as well because this one only covers season 1 and I stopped at ch.80 (season 2 finale). This was so good overall and I'm so excited for season 3.
It's going to be a regular thing for me now to add my manhwas on goodreads as I've been in such a bad book slump for almost a year now but I still want to reach/exceed my goodreads annual reading challenge, and the only material I've mostly been reading these days are manhwas.
Praying I get out this reading slump for good and get back to consistently devouring novels too, soon I hope.
It's going to be a regular thing for me now to add my manhwas on goodreads as I've been in such a bad book slump for almost a year now but I still want to reach/exceed my goodreads annual reading challenge, and the only material I've mostly been reading these days are manhwas.
Praying I get out this reading slump for good and get back to consistently devouring novels too, soon I hope.

Leí en un aproximado de tres días los 80 capítulos que estaban disponibles de este manhwa. Aparte de que noté cierta carga de mercadotecnia que a mi corazoncito mercadólogo le gustó, la historia se me hizo súper tierna y amé a cada uno de los personajes. Denme más manhwas de este estilo, porfa 😔💜

Me gustó que el amigo no resultó ser el protagonista másculino, nada en contra, pero ya era hora que no fuera tan obvio con quien se quedará la prota. De ahí en fuera nada más destacable.
