I’m the stand-in maid of honour, he’s the silver fox uncle of the groom who saves the day when the wedding becomes a disaster, with a pet ring-bearer gone rogue, a drunk priest, a small incident with a gun, and a child with perfect comic timing.
But the dream Italian wedding continues, and the uncle and I sign as witnesses.
And if I try to flirt with him, I blame the romantic setting, wine, and the fact that although he’s twice my age, he’s the hottest man I’ve ever met.
His edge of danger, with his tattoos and the way everyone is nervous of him, gossiping that he’s a morally gray billionaire, only makes me want him more.
He turns me down with a touch to my cheek and a hoarse murmur that I’m too young and innocent for a man like him.
Back at home, my dull little life doesn't compare. Then a wedding certificate arrives at my door.
There’s been a mix up, and I’m married. To him.
Accidentally Marrying the Mafia Don is a sweet and spicy instalove romance with fluffy mafia romcom vibes and sizzling chemistry.
Evie Rose writes gleefully improbable bitesized instalove romances, with heroes who are all-in obsessed for their heroines.
She loves possessive alpha heroes, age gap, tons of spice, forced proximity, pining, and swoony romantic bits. She's the darker alter-ego of bestselling author Eve Pendle.
Anyone looking for an over the top, somewhat fluffy/cheesy, insta-love, very humorous and lovable MCs, this would be it. And it’s a Mafia trope too. Go figure.
All I will say, Al Poochino, you dirty little dog you!
Alpi finally sits down, and I think we’re in the clear. Until he rolls slightly, cocks his leg in the air, and starts licking his bum. The noise is… not ideal. He’s slurping. There’s an audible—maybe even loud—wet sound as he really gets involved. And then I notice it. Not only is he sucking his balls, Alpi is also giving an anatomy lesson about boy dogs. He has his lipstick out. A small, pink, and unmistakable little dog penis pokes up. In the middle of the wedding, at the front.
“Does Al Poochino think he’s losing his territory with Francesca? He’s acting like true Italian mafioso, ruthlessly disrupting this wedding. I lift the little dog up and stare him in the eyes. If his mission has been to fuck with my girl because I gave his girl away, he’s done an admirable job. One mafia don to another, I respect that.”
“He’s lucky that the dog’s disgraceful behavior has taken most of my ire—I knew he’d be trouble when Francesca named him Al Poochino after a mafia film star she’s too young to know about—and the mutt is above him on the list of people I’m considering murdering today.”
How are you? If you’re my wife, why aren’t you pregnant yet? How did you know I wanted you? Will you stay? Please, never leave me again, even if I tell you to.

"Tesorina, you're too young and innocent for a man like me."~Dante😭
"I'd live to be his toy. His cherished, petted, loved toy." ~Ruby😝
"That's all you need to do to be my perfect wife, Ruby. Love me, and don't let go. I couldn't bear to lose you." ~Dante😍
"Love is worth the risk, you know."~Lucia🤩
Ooooo, this book was insanely good.🎉🎉 I could not, would not, put it down. I was cracking up with the explosive shenanigans of a dog named Al Poochino. A destructor of epic proportions, making his mark, at a summer wedding in beautiful Italy. 22yr old Ruby Wilson, a hair stylist and secret artist of fan fiction or books in general, is thrown into the chaos of Lucia's daughter's wedding. 2 of the bridesmaids are sick, oysters, and well, fun fact there's a bag full of 'Exorcist 🤢confetti'🤢 that the dog ran away with.🤮🛍️🐕 The story began at high speed and didn't stop. Sweet Ruby wrangled the dog 🧀🧀🧀🧀, ran into the very tall and super attractive man that is Dante Angelini, he's the Uncle of the bride, Francesca, and she suddenly had to be a stand-in bridesmaid for the wedding to continue. It doesn't end there. The priest is also inebriated.🥴🍺🍺🍺 Drama. Drama. Alpi does more obscene things.🙈🙉🙊
Ruby is a total sweetheart. She loves books, a girl after my own heart, and genuinely wants to help everyone. A bit of a people pleaser but not in a bad way. And when she ran into Dante, with his green eyes, salt and pepper hair, tats, looking all hawtt, smelling good, and magnetic; well, Ruby fell.😘🥰 Who can resist that type of man? I couldn't.lol She wants to get to know him, she feels the attraction and hopes that, maybe, he does too. He certainly acts like it. Everything feels right. Until....
Dante is a Don, he's a part of the London Mafia Syndicate, aka London Maths Club. Secretly.🤫 He likes Ruby instantly. He could indulge and take Ruby home, but he can't bring her into his dangerous world. He wants to but it wouldn't be the right thing to do. He may be a criminal but he can't do that to her. Plus, he's dwelling on his age. Dante is 40. He's interested, very much so, but he can't give in, not even when Ruby kissed him and made his heart feel a certain way.💋❤️🔥💋 Rejection is the only way.
Months later finds Ruby back in London receiving a letter in the mail. A certificate of marriage. Why was Ruby labeled as a spinster on that form?😨 That's. Rude funny.🤭 How did this happen? Remember the dog. Yeah the wedding certificate got torn and chewed up.... So now Ruby and Dante are officially married. Huge mix-up. Or is it the intervention of the Universe?🌌 Ruby has to find Dante and let him know. And when she went to his guarded up home, remember the Mafia Syndicate, well they're all there watching, questioning, and wanting to search Ruby.😂😂 It's insane. Hilarious. Off the wall bonkers.👥🔰👥🔰👥🔰 Dante keeps his emotions in check, he's happy to see her, even though he's been secretly stalking her.👤 Not in a dark unhinged way. Until Ruby said she's his wife.🫢🫢🫢 Whaaatt!!
The world building grew as Dante and Ruby lived together while waiting for the annulment. Their romance is a slow burn as they navigated this unexpected event. Dante is hooked on Ruby. Over-protective. Supporter. Obsessed. He's in love with his wife. But he's waiting. Ruby wants her husband. She wants to please him, have him desire her, keep her as his wife.🫦💍 Girl tries hard. But she isn't sure if he wants her? Ruby. Can't you see? He offers an allowance for books. It's a ton of money. A black credit card. I can't with Dante.🥰
Danger lurks. Enemies are everywhere. Spies. It does get spicy and steamy later. Holy moly!!!🔥🌋🔥🌋 Naughty talk. Breeding kink. Emotional connection. Even adult conversations happen. I loved Dante and Ruby. This is a funny, well written book. The book cover is great. I highly recommend. If you like rom-coms and high heat, this book is for you. The epilogue is cool!! Well done, Ms Rose.🎆🎆 Shout out to Al Poochino🐶. Happy reading. *•>§<•*❤️❤️❤️❤️

Evie Rose’s latest, Accidentally Marrying the Mafia Don, was just the story I needed. And Evie Rose’s novellas always hit the spot with the right balance of romance, spice, and a touch of humor in the mix. This one, though, had me chuckling quite a bit right from the goof-up in the beginning. She’s the maid of honor, and he’s the silver fox uncle of the groom. What could go wrong? Lots! Because these two are the ones who end up “accidentally” married.
But it wouldn’t be an Evie Rose story without the Mafia component, which she weaves in. Dante is the Mafia Don, and there are expectations. Ruby is inexperienced and makes efforts to be everything she believes he would want in a wife. Her efforts were both humorous and quite touching. At 141 pages, readers should expect the romance to move quickly—that’s what I like and expect from this author. And the spice is pretty hot.
Thank you to Author Evie Rose for the gifted e-copy. I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Dante and Ruby meet when she is the hairdresser for his nieces wedding. They both get hit with the special Evie Rose insta bug. However he thinks she is too young, she thinks he wouldn’t want her! Move forward a few weeks and someone has managed to get a marriage certificate showing Dante and Ruby are in fact married. An annulment? Read the book to find out. Lots of insecurities, then passion, lots of witty moments (scatter cushion on their bed!), melting sweet moments and a wonderful epilogue. One of my many highlighted moments include…. He kisses me like there’s a time limit and he has to get as much in as he can before an imaginary bell rings.

This story kicks off with the kind of gloriously unhinged chaos only a rom-com can deliver without tipping headfirst into farce. Ruby, a hairdresser-in-training, finds herself swept into the rarefied air of a jaw-droppingly luxurious wedding after tagging along to Italy with her boss. She’s wide-eyed, dazzled, and very much out of her depth, until some rogue oysters take down the bride’s maid of honor and Ruby is abruptly promoted to emergency stand-in, complete with ring-bearer wrangling duties. And yes, we have to talk about the ring bearer—because Al Poochino (Alpi to his friends) is an absolute menace and an early scene-stealer. From stealing the re-emerging incriminating oysters (don’t ask) to proudly flashing his furry family jewels during the ceremony, this dog-gone little devil injects pure comedic gold into every scene he’s in. Toss in a drunk priest, a chewed-up marriage certificate, and a small boy whose life goal is to secure some cake, and it’s honestly miraculous the wedding survives at all. Ruby couldn’t have muddled through without Dante, the bride’s uncle—though distraction might be more accurate than helpful. The tattooed silver fox radiates danger and undeniable chemistry, leaving Ruby doing her very best impression of a functioning human while internally short-circuiting. The attraction is mutual, but Dante plays the noble card, gently rebuffing her by claiming he’s far too old for someone as innocent as Ruby. (The whole mafia don thing might also be a factor.) So, Ruby heads back to her normal life…until a marriage certificate shows up in the mail declaring her the Don’s new wife. Surprise! Dante is just as stunned, but he quickly realizes the situation might be the perfect excuse to get what he’s wanted since that disastrous wedding. Under the pretense of protection, he moves Ruby into his home, promising to keep her safe until the marriage can be annulled. Naturally, the longer they live together, the less appealing that annulment becomes. This is one of those light, bubbly romances you can’t help but binge-read while kicking your legs in glee. Ruby is warm, funny, and full of dazzled wonder at how wildly her life has veered off course, while Dante is the quintessential obsessive, protective, possessive mafia man. The crackling tension as he tries—and spectacularly fails—to keep his hands off her is delicious, and Ruby’s earnest attempts to be the perfect wife are genuinely heart-melting. Sweet romance, laugh-out-loud chaos, and just the right amount of spice—it’s a winning combination. All I can say is I sincerely hope there are many more London boroughs hiding mafia dons, because I am not ready to leave this world yet. Can I give this book more than 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? Because I LOVED it! Actually this whole series is awesome, so do yourself a favor and read them all. It is a standalone read, but interconnected, dealing with different characters. Loved these because the previous book characters are either mentioned or appear on page. The theme in all these books is London Mafia Syndicate, and London Maths Club and of course how it started. Innocent women and obsessive men. In this book we have Italian Dante Angeline forty and our MMC. He’s huge, muscular with forest green eyes and silver in his dark hair. Has dangerous looking tattoos going up his neck, chest and on his hands. He’s also Mafia Boss of Clerkenwell and the brides Uncle. Ruby Wilson twenty two, is our MFC. She’s innocent, sweet, beautiful, petite with big brown eyes. Shes with her boss doing hair for the Angeline bridal party. These two have an instant and very strong attraction for each other. With Dante immediately knowing after his forty years on earth, Ruby is the one for him. And Ruby is so drawn to the older, obviously experienced Dante, she wants to claim him, something that’s never happened to her. The bonding with these two both physically and mentally was so sweet and touching. Through unfortunate happenstance Ruby is put in the wedding part and in charge of the infamous Alpi (Al Poochino) the brides little dog during the wedding ceremony IT IS HILARIOUS!! Ruby and Dantfe bonds in canine-crime prevention. Lots of funny moments, spice, danger and second guessing what the other was feeling. Duel viewpoints really let you feel what they’re thinking and feeling. When an “accidental glitch” occurs in the form of Dante’s loving sister, and an unauthorized marriage lincense come about, Dante and Ruby gets a chance that could lead to a happy ending for both of them. Has light mafia with the hero having fast, real, caring, possesive, protective and obsessive feelings for the heroine. It’s the Perfect length to sit, read and enjoy. As I said LOVED IT!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️.

He’s the groom’s uncle. She’s the backup bridesmaid. Now they’re accidentally married.
Ruby’s just a junior hairdresser caught in wedding-day chaos with a rogue ring-bearing dog, a drunk priest, and a tuxedoed stranger who looks like danger and salvation rolled into one. She never meant to flirt with him. She definitely didn’t mean to marry him. But when the paperwork says otherwise, one signature ties her to a man no one dares cross.
Dante never meant to fall for the sweet, anxious girl who wears her heart on her sleeve and burns herself making breakfast. He only meant to protect her. But once she’s his wife, even by accident, he’s all in. Her softness disarms him. Her presence steadies him. And he’s not about to let her go.
Ruby steps into a world of secrets and power, trying not to fall for the man who sees through every one of her defenses. She turns his cold home into something warm, while he proves his love through loyalty, protection, and obsession she never expected. When danger closes in, she’ll have to choose if loving him is worth the risk.
She grows from overlooked and uncertain to someone who stands her ground and knows she belongs. He learns that love isn't weakness, and that trust can be the strongest weapon of all. Together they turn an accident into something undeniable, messy, consuming, and real.
A steamy, instalove, age gap, accidental marriage, forced proximity mafia romance with a possessive, praise-filled, tattooed don and the soft-hearted artist who never meant to marry him. It’s about finding home in the last place you expect, learning to trust through fear, healing what you never meant to share, and being fiercely chosen by the last person you imagined. What starts as a mistake becomes obsession, safety, and a love that transforms them both.
The Elevator Pitch: One wrong signature and she’s married to a tattooed mafia don with a possessive streak and a house full of secrets. He says it’s just for protection, but the way he touches her, praises her, and calls her his says otherwise. It’s spicy, intense, and full of accidental love that hits fast, claims hard, and refuses to let go.
Accidentally Marrying the Mafia Don by Evie Rose is the kind of book that grabs you by the hand, shoves you into a sun-soaked Italian wedding gone wildly wrong, and dares you not to fall in love with the mess.
Ruby is only supposed to be the stand-in maid of honor, a dog-wrangler, chaos coordinator, not an accidental bride. But between a rogue ring-bearing pup, a drunk priest, and a marriage register that meets a very messy end, fate has other plans. Enter Dante—the bride’s silver-fox uncle, tattooed, dangerous, morally gray, and radiating do not touch energy that Ruby absolutely wants to touch.
Their initial chemistry is instant and electric, but what makes it even better is Dante’s restraint. He wants her. He knows he shouldn’t. And that internal battle? Delicious. So when Ruby returns home to her very normal, very dull life—only to receive a marriage certificate declaring her the wife of a Mafia Don—the story truly takes off.
What follows is a perfect blend of laugh-out-loud romcom chaos and swoony mafia possessiveness. Ruby marching into Dante’s London home and loudly announcing she’s his wife in front of other dons is iconic. Dante immediately switching into full “mine, protect, move her in” mode? Peak book-boyfriend behavior.
Ruby is endlessly relatable—warm, funny, and slightly overwhelmed in the best way—while Dante is everything fans of older, dominant MMCs crave: protective, controlled, deeply obsessed, and utterly undone by the woman he never planned to love. The age-gap tension crackles, the “my wife” energy is off the charts, and the humor keeps the story light even when the stakes rise.
This novella delivers exactly what it promises: fluffy mafia romcom vibes, sizzling chemistry, and a story you’ll inhale in one sitting with a grin on your face. If you love accidental marriages, forced proximity, possessive silver foxes, and chaotic weddings that lead straight to forever, Accidentally Marrying the Mafia Don is an absolute must-read.

This is part of the multi author Accidentally Marrying series and is also interconnected with the author’s London Mafia Bosses and London Maths Club books which I swear, I can’t help but laugh at whenever I think about them. Pretty much the same as the beginning of this one; I laughed my butt off at Alpi, the little fuzz ball ring bearer’s antics and would dearly LOVE to be a fly on the wall if such ridiculousness were to ever actually happen.
When the bride’s gorgeous uncle stumbled across the pretty little hairdresser before the wedding, sparks flew but knowing he wasn’t good enough for the innocent beauty, he forced himself to walk away leaving her feeling humiliated for daring to think he could ever be interested in her. Imagine both their surprise when, two months later they find that instead of the witnesses they’d actually been, they receive a marriage certificate listing them as the bride and groom!!!
It’s not often that I love the FMC as much as the MMC but it was impossible not to with Ruby and Dante. They were clearly so crazy about each other and there was so much pining going on that I’d catch myself getting frustrated with them… if only they had had an honest conversation, they could’ve been put out of their misery long before they actually were. I couldn’t get TOO upset with ‘em though because they were obviously miserable thinking the other didn’t care but I was never so glad as when they finally got their heads outta their rear ends and talked to each other!
Fans of instalove and mafia romances are gonna love this book! Even for instalove however, it was still a little bit of a slow burn before they finally acted on it so don’t be surprised but it was SO worth it in the end. If any of that sounds like something you even MIGHT enjoy, I urge you to check it out, I think you might be surprised at how much you like it!.

The Vibe: A fast-paced, high-chemistry "accidental marriage" story that focuses more on the sparks between the leads than the darkness of the underworld. What I Loved The "Accident": I loved the twist on the trope! Instead of a drunken mistake, it was the Don’s sister who did the heavy lifting with the marriage certificate. It added a fun layer of "wedding hijinx" right from the start. The Chemistry: I was rooting for these two from page one. Their connection felt genuine and immediate, making the "accidental" transition into a real relationship very satisfying. Pacing: This book absolutely flew by. I finished it in about 90 minutes because I simply didn't want to put it down. It’s the perfect length for a quick, binge-worthy escape. The Balance: While it's a mafia romance, the "mafialand" elements are light. It’s just enough to establish that he’s a powerful, dangerous man without taking away from the central romance. Final Thoughts If you're looking for a short, steamy read with a satisfying HEA and great banter, this is it. It doesn't get bogged down in heavy subplots; it stays focused on the two leads and their journey from "oops, we’re married" to a real connection. Evie Rose does it again with another charming, funny, and swoony installment in her London Mafia world. Accidentally Marrying the Mafia Don delivers all the things I’ve come to expect—and love—from this author: sharp banter, laugh-out-loud moments, a deliciously silver-fox MMC, and that signature blend of sweetness and spice.
The accidental marriage setup is peak romcom perfection, especially set against the chaos of an Italian wedding gone spectacularly wrong. Dante is every bit the morally gray, tattooed mafia don you want him to be—dangerous, controlled, and completely undone by the woman he insists is “too young” and “too innocent” for him. Their chemistry crackles from the start, and the humor throughout is classic Evie Rose.
The only reason this didn’t quite hit a full 5 stars for me is the miscommunication arc. While the tension absolutely worked, I would’ve loved a bit more spice payoff after waiting so long for them to fully come together. That said, the emotional payoff is satisfying, and the journey is still wildly entertaining.
Overall, this is a cozy, sexy, mafia romcom with heart, humor, and a whole lot of charm. Another great addition to Evie Rose’s London Mafia universe—and proof that even a tiny “oops” can lead to something deliciously unforgettable.

Get ready for a funny and crazy wedding adventure with crazy dog escapades.
Ruby can’t believe she’s attending a beautiful wedding in Italy where she literally runs into the bride’s Uncle Dante while trying to coral the bride’s ring-bearing dog. If that’s not enough chaos there a drunk priest and the dog eats the wedding register.
To make matters even worse, Dante is drawn immediately to Ruby but feels she’s too young and doesn’t want her involved with his mob dealings and Ruby is equally drawn to him. When Ruby gets the marriage certificate in the mail showing her as the bride and Dante the groom, she immediately goes to Dante and from there further riotous misunderstandings arise.
When Dante insists that Ruby live with him since word has gotten out about their “marriage,” it proves difficult for both of them to ignore their blazing connection. There are brief visits from some of the London Math’s Club and London Pizza Club members.
I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a quick, fun and spicey read even if you haven’t read one of Evie’s previous books. I think you’ll become a fan once you do.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ridiculously Fun, Spicy, and Impossible to Put Down
This was pure romcom gold with a mafia twist—and I loved every second of it.
Accidentally Marrying the Mafia Don is laugh-out-loud funny, wildly spicy, and surprisingly sweet. The chaotic Italian wedding alone had me hooked, and the accidental marriage setup was executed perfectly. Ruby is relatable and charming, and Dante? Absolute top-tier book boyfriend material. Tattooed, possessive, dominant, morally gray, and fully aware he shouldn’t want her… which of course makes him want her more.
The age gap tension, the “my wife” energy, and Dante’s mix of restraint and obsession were chef’s kiss. He falls hard, fast, and completely—and watching him struggle between protecting Ruby and claiming her was delicious. The chemistry crackles, the dirty talk hits, and the humor keeps everything light and binge-worthy.
This novella delivers exactly what it promises: fluffy mafia romcom vibes, high heat, and a story you’ll devour in one sitting with a grin on your face. If you love possessive older MMCs, forced proximity, and accidental marriage chaos, this one is a must-read. 🔥💍🇮🇹.

Accidentally Marrying the Mafia Don by Evie Rose is another addictive win in her mafia romance lineup. Set against the lush backdrop of an extravagant Italian wedding, this story introduces Ruby, a sweet, hardworking hairdresser’s assistant whose life takes a sharp left turn thanks to a mischievous dog, a drunken priest, and one devastatingly handsome mafia don.
Dante Angelini—powerful, controlled, and the kingpin of Clerkenwell—is everything Ruby shouldn’t want and everything he insists he can’t have. Their instant chemistry crackles from the first encounter, even as Dante fights it at every turn. What starts as utter chaos quickly becomes a deliciously tense “oops-we’re-married” situation that follows them back to London, where reality (and a very official marriage certificate) comes crashing in.
Evie Rose delivers all the things I love: undeniable chemistry, emotional push-and-pull, and a heroine completely out of her depth but impossible not to root for. This book perfectly balances humor, heat, and heart—and proves once again why Evie Rose’s mafia romances are an automatic must-read for me. 💍🔥
The London Maths Club is back and this one is hilarious! It’s a mafia romance and it’s a rom com, which might seem like an oxymoron, but it works perfectly. Ruby is an assistant hairdresser who gets roped into participating in Dante’s niece’s wedding as a dog wrangler. The antics the dog gets up to during that wedding made me laugh out loud. A mixup leaves Ruby legally married to Dante, a London mafia boss who fell in love with her at first sight. Hilarity ensues when she announces to the London Maths Club, the name of the gathering of London mob leaders so named because one of the wives didn’t know its true purpose, that she and Dante are married. Ruby thinks that if she can be the perfect wife, then maybe Dante won’t want to annul the marriage. I particularly liked the scene where he questioned the use of throw pillows. Heck, I don’t even know what they’re for and I love them. Underneath the laughter is a caring relationship between two people who are secretly in love with each other and very compatible. I liked it.

Accidentally Marrying The Mafia Don by Evie Rose is the first title I've read by this author and as part of the multi author Accidentally Marrying series I wasn't disappointed. As an instalove, age gap mafia romance the plot and storyline was engaging especially with the main characters of Dante, the older Mafia Don and, Ruby, younger, independent but somewhat lost in terms life direction and innocent meet at destination wedding under somewhat comedy circumstances. Mutual attraction is instant and strong but Dante's age and profession hold him back from taking things further with Ruby but it doesn't prevent him from keeping an eye on her back in London. There are some highly amusing moments through the story that made me smile and, in some instances, laugh out loud so the rom com vibes are definitely evident and that with the steam and spice and main characters sizzling chemistry kept me turning the pages all the way to their HEA. Overall an entertaining read and I look forward to trying other stories by this author.

Ruby is a hairdresser at an expensive Italian wedding, when the bridesmaid become ill she becomes the stand-in maid of honour. Dante’s the silver fox uncle of the groom who saves the day when the wedding becomes a disaster, with a pet ring-bearer gone rogue, a drunk priest, a small incident with a gun, and a child with perfect comic timing. But the dream Italian wedding continues, and Dante & Ruby sign as witnesses. Back at home, Ruby’s dull little life doesn't compare. Then a wedding certificate arrives at my door. There’s been a mix up, and Dante & Ruby are married. This was a great mix of romance, fun, laughter & steam. I loved both Dante & Ruby, he fell for her like a ton of bricks & was determined for the annulment not to happen, she also doesn’t want an annulment & is determined to be the perfect wife. There were laugh out loud moments, sizzling chemistry & some danger. I love these quick age gap novellas & once again devoured it in a sitting I voluntarily read and reviewed a special copy of this book; all thoughts and opinions are my own
This was a hysterical and very sweet and spicy love story! From the very beginning of the story I was cracking up, a scene stealer definitely earning his keep! The story is a full one and Evie does a wonderful job of having a sweet girl end up with the perfect match for her. I loved both leads and found them to have great chemistry.
She was a stand in after doing the bridal party's hair and was instantly attracted to our H and he to her. He is family to the bride and can't stop thinking about her.
She is so likable. This poor thing was saddled with some serious dog issues at first. I was dying at the antics of the bride's puppy, he was a gross little cutie! The emotions between our leads...so sweet and hot. I loved how they wanted to be together but were both scared in different ways. They are both good people and what passion they have together! This was a fun and steamy read all the way through and very entertaining.

I got opportunity to read an arc of this book. As soon as I saw the author I jumped, as she in one of my favorite authors. The members of the London Maths Club have a few glimpses and made my day. The pup antics are highly reminicent of my own twin yorkie terrors so I HIGHLY understand the...unique ways puppers can...enhance *snicker the atmosphere of a wedding. oh and my boy al poochino did just that! The H and h had an instant chemistry that added a bit of spice to the wedding venue and was just carried into their everyday life when the mixup was revealed. Ms Rose writes a lot of humor into each of her books and she did not miss with this book. Oh and al poochino is just he most darlingest little boy. Highly rec this book and it is standalone in the London Maths world and could be read without any of the other books, but I def rec reading the rest of them as they all just addicting.
Ruby is a junior hairdresser, who is in Italy for a destination wedding. The bridesmaids are sick and the bride’s dog has gone rouge. Did I mention she just ran into the hottest man she has ever seen? Ruby is instantly attracted to Dante but knows an older, rich man like him would never want her. Why would someone like him want her when no one else ever has? Dante is the Don of Clerkenwell. He loves his family and is at his nieces wedding when a tiny ray of sunshine runs into him. He is smitten from the start. He wants Ruby but knows she is too young, too innocent and too sweet for a man like him. After a mix up the two find themselves married. Get ready for an OTT possessive older Mafia Don, a drunk priest, a chaotic wedding and danger you never saw coming. This short read has a little bit of it all. Great read.

I like a love story with strong feelings. Besides wedding mayhem, Dante's and Ruby's inner monologues, especially about each other, are quite humorous, including those which may be meant to be serious. They both want the accidental marriage to be real, but not knowing each other's feelings, they're in emotional limbo. Only some scary, dangerous situation can change that.

That dog deserves its own review. This story should come with a trigger warning: it can trigger traumatic experiences or serve as a reminder of untrained or poorly trained dogs' misbehavior, including inappropriate behavior. In Ruby's place, I would take the dog by the collar and pull him away, maybe offer someone else's leg, or if truly out of patience, wedding guests would see a flying dog. Knowing dog's behavior, its owner and others involved in wedding prep should have thought about a bag for the dog, some treats, and a toy to take along.
Mafia romance. Ruby is a young woman hired as a hairdresser for a wealthy wedding in Italy. She didn't expect to fall for the bride's uncle, nor to be hired to look after the bride's dog. But when she returns home, she learns that, following an accident, she is married to the mysterious uncle. Dante is one of the heads of the London mafia. While attending his niece's wedding, he falls completely for her hairdresser, but between their age difference and his dangerous profession, he prefers to keep her at arm's length. But back in London, he plays the stalker until he learns that he is married to the beautiful young woman. Then he knows he will do everything to protect her and keep her close. Will Ruby and Dante have a beautiful love story, or will the danger surrounding Dante also pursue the beautiful Ruby…

Ruby is a junior hairdresser who unwittingly becomes a stand in dog whisperer at a Mafia wedding. Said dog is cute and extremely naughty, throw in a Mafia Don and love is bound to bloom. Dante is the uncle of the bride, a tattooed morally grey man who falls head over heels in love with Ruby. Very funny scenes at the wedding with some laugh out loud moments. Back in London, Ruby discovers she is married to Dante due to a mistake on the witness papers and seeks him out at his London home in Clerkenwell, where she comes face to face with a few of our favourite Kingpins. Announcing she is Dante's wife loudly, means she has to move in to his home immediately so he can protect and keep her safe like any good Mafia Don would.
A quick fun read with Al Poochino the cute dog taking a leading role in this novella.

This book was such a fun surprise and easily one of my favorite mafia romcoms I have read lately 😊 The premise is ridiculous in the best way and the execution totally works. The accidental marriage setup made me laugh out loud, and the chemistry between Dante and the heroine crackles from their first interaction. Dante is peak silver fox mafia energy, protective, dominant, and completely gone for his wife whether he wants to admit it or not 🔥 I loved how the story balanced humor with spice and still delivered a swoony happily ever after. It is fast paced, playful, and perfect if you want a short read that feels indulgent, steamy, and comforting all at once. If you enjoy age gap romance, possessive heroes, and lighthearted mafia vibes, this one is absolutely worth your time 💍.

Accidentally Marrying the Mafia Don was another fine read from author Evie Rose! There were so many good laughs in this one and I had plenty at the wedding when a naughty doggie nearly stole the show. Ruby is the hairdresser at an Italian wedding where she meets the brides silver fox uncle Dante and the chemistry between them is hot! But Dante of course thinks he is too old for Ruby so doesn’t take things further. Loved this novella which was a fun, pleasing, entertaining read, and picks up speed when Ruby receives a marriage certificate in the mail for her and Dante…Dio mio! Obviously a BIG mistake but Dante is in seventh heaven when Ruby brings him the news. Do yourself a favor and dive into this perfect little, nicely written, spicy, engaging read!.

This is another fun and spicy addition to this multi-author series and I really enjoyed it. Ruby is a jr hair dresser that managed to get included to go to Italy to help do the wedding party's hair-dos. When she bumps into a hot older man, she's immediately smitten. Dante, the bride's uncle, is fascinated with Ruby and can't help but keep an eye on her, even when they head back to England. Ha! These two are fire together but the sudden wedding certificate snafu throws them both a curve. They have to work through both their insecurities, deal with shenanigans and betrayal, and finally manage their way to a wonderful HEA. With hot chemistry and lots of praise and dirty talk, Ruby was more than ready to snap this man up! I was thrilled he finally sorted out his misgivings and let loose his feelings. Definitely entertaining, I loved it!
As Dante arrived to see his niece get married, a woman runs past him chasing a dog . That dog is dragging a bag. And all Dante could think was , I'm in love. It was that instant. One minute all Ruby was doing, was the bridesmaids hair... the next, shes running after a dog. All Ruby needed was to catch the dog and everything would be OK. ....she hoped!
This book was such a game changer. I have read almost all of the books in these series' of the Maths club mafia bosses and every book gets better and better. The speed that Dante fell in love left me breathless. And Its not often that I am left speechless with a book but I was with this one. It had me spellbound. I loved how the plot moved along and the twist in the middle of the story was unexpected. I would definitely reread this book.

Evie Rose has done it again. I absolutely adore Ruby & Dante and this story. Her books always hit just right and this one hit so perfectly right now.
Love that insta-lust/love. Dante is so damn sexy with the tattoos and the dom voice that makes me melt just like Ruby. How he takes care of those who he feels are his family is *chef’s kiss*
And Ruby, sweet, sweet Ruby. No one truly cared about her until Dante and the Angelini family came into the picture.
The wedding was pure gold and the mystery behind the intruder just right.
As always, 5/5 ⭐️s for both story and spice. Loved Dante with her so much. And my heart with every peek of our London Maths Club and they get me every time! As always, I cannot wait to see what else is in store for this universe ❤️❤️

Ruby is just the hairdresser at a wedding in Italy when the bridesmaids get sick and she is put in as a stand in. Dante, Boss of Clernewell (part of the London Mafia Syndicate) is the uncle of the bride, the pair have chemistry. Nothing happens between them, she is too young and innocent for him.
Weeks later Ruby receives a marriage license in the mail, hers and Dante's. It has his address, so makes her way there. Only to be surrounded London Mafia Syndicate who are meeting at her house. She tells the crowd she is Dante's wife. Now that she is there, Dante plans on keeping her. I loved how she looked up how to be a good wife and tried a bunch of things on him.
