A Perfect Storm by T. S. Falk is a chilling tale, in more ways than one. Professor Elliot Brand, his wife Ashra and their daughter, Shiri are swept into a secret Soviet plan to destroy many people.
The technical side of mountain climbing, scaling sheer granite walls in subzero temperatures is frightening yet fascinating. Man vs Mountain is a strange yet deeply ingrained battle.
Switzerland is a perfect place for the stand off at the end, a technical city for a deadly technical device. It's up to Elliot and Hannah, from the American Intelligence community to find it. Perfect Storm was a nail-biter until the last second. Great reading. A full 5 stars.
I've read many of Falk's books and enjoyed them but I believe maybe he has now lost his moral compass. I almost quit reading in the early part of this book because of the WOKENESS shining through......... Mr. Falk WOKE is dead!!! But I continued reading for a while until his profanity stopped me........not just simple profanity, but anyone who thinks its alright to use the Lord's name in vain is not someone I care to hear from. Clean it up !!!
Ok, I will start with my only complaint…. These books fly by too fast! I started this one when I couldn’t sleep last night, and finished it the same morning. Mr. Falk knows how to keep the story going at a blistering pace and never let up. I hope he keeps telling of the tales and trials of those who know about the ancients. I’m definitely hooked and have been since the first books.
I have read all his books, and while the main characters are consistent, the plots and their final conclusion are unique and exciting. Twists and turns that keep you reading until the end. Can't wait for the next book, but unfortunately I read faster than he write. I'm Nancy's husband Gil.
Wow, not a great vacation in the Alps for Elliot and Ashra. Exciting as usual but I think that these two are starting to wear out. Eventually they will need some respite.
You do need to read the book. The risk you take is finding yourself having to read all the books. Not because this book cannot be read by itself, but because you will want to know everything the characters know.
