Hexed For Halloween

Rate this book
Data analyst Cassidy Jones. Firefighter Ryan Culpepper. One accidental love spell. Thirty days of magical stuck together.

Cassidy Jones survives life through structure, spreadsheets, and emotional avoidance. Everything has a category, a backup plan, and a logical explanation—until an accidental Halloween spell binds her to the one man capable of dismantling every carefully built defense she has.

Ryan Culpepper has been in love with Cassidy for years.

Now they’re magically tethered together.

They can’t be more than thirty feet apart. They feel each other’s emotions, physical reactions, and attraction in real time. And they have exactly thirty days to survive the spell without completely losing control.

Which becomes a serious problem once they’re sharing grocery trips, family dinners, late nights on the couch, and a cabin getaway with nowhere to hide from the growing tension between them.

Especially when Ryan stops pretending he doesn’t want her.

As the magical bond deepens, Cassidy realizes the real danger isn’t the spell—it’s how badly she wants the connection to be real after the magic disappears. Ryan has spent years waiting for her to see him as more than her best friend’s brother, but when the deadline finally arrives, both of them must decide whether what exists between them can survive without supernatural help.

Because falling in love is terrifying.

But losing each other might be worse.

Ok this book is about 100 pages too long. It’s VERY repetitive. Cassidy is entirely insufferable (listen I’m a Bolter™️ but dear god girl I’m tired of the back and forth) and there was farrrrr too much talk about the bond. I get it. We all get it. The banter is great but we could have gotten this wrapped up a lot sooner.

A Halloween romance read, just in time for the holiday. Andria delivers a delightfully fun romance with sweet and heat. Our main characters are Cassidy and Ryan. Ryan has harbored feelings for Cass but she fears the feels. Now, thanks to her besties spell gone awry Ryan and Cass can't be more than 30 feet apart and will take 30 days for the spell to break and Ryan has errands and family obligations that draw Cass from her shell. I so enjoyed this read.

Best friend Willow casts a binding spell on Cassidy and Ryan

Who knew going to a Halloween party could have you magically tied to your long time crush! Ryan is Willows big brother so he's known Cassidy for twenty some years. After Willows spell they have to stay within thirty feet of each other. Side benefits include a feedback loop of the others feelings. Laugh out loud funny and totally blush worthy. Cassidy learns to relax a tiny bit but Ryan is so intuitive to her over thinking and re-organising ways.

This was a cute yet steamy read. Different from the Dirty Doll Opps series I’ve read by the same author but still a great story. Willow casts a spell on her brother and her best friend. Ryan and Cass can’t stay away from each other-literally. It causes them physical pain to be apart. This forced proximity will help them figure out some stuff but is it what they want?

This book was a fun read!
As much as I liked Cassidy, Ryan is what made me like this book so much! She was too stuck in her head and Ryan was all in. On top of being her best friend’s older brother and a sexy firefighter, it was how he saw and treated Cassidy that made me adore him!!!
I loved the glimpses of them in the future!!!.

Hexed for Halloween by Alexx Andria is pure romcom perfection with a magical twist! From the very first page, I was hooked on Cassidy and Ryan’s hilarious, steamy, and surprisingly heartfelt journey. The forced proximity from a misfired love spell is such a fun setup and the chemistry between these two practically leaps off the page!

This book is the perfect Halloween treat! The chemistry between Cassidy and Ryan is electric full of sass, laughter, and plenty of heart. The magical spell twist makes it even more fun and original. I couldn’t stop reading once they were stuck together the tension and slow-burn romance were EVERYTHING. Alexx Andria nailed the humor and the heat!

3.5 ⭐️ could be 4⭐️

I like the book and the story of Cass and Ryan, but it was too repetitive her doubts about the spell, and the love Ryan felt for her. Everyone could see how Ryan saw her, and showed love to Cass but her. Her insecurities were more and I understand it, her parents divorced when she was twelve.

I even skip a few pages at the end of the book. Sorry but not sorry.

Magic becomes real but little plot

A really silly love story that's all about sex in nearly every chapter. The writer, Alexx Andria, cannot stop writing about it. I got tired.

This book was so boring and redundant. Cass…just tell Ryan you love him, and the book could have ended at chapter 7😭.
