Grace and Callum’s story is one about protective love, healing and choosing for each other.
It’s a feel good book with a very happy ending!

This is the first in a new series, and this is Callum and Grace’s story.
Callum is a former army ranger, whose job it is now to protect clients who cannot protect themselves. Callum is Grace’s older brothers’ best friend, and she is a quiet illustrator, who is hiding from her abusive ex-husband, and Callum is assigned to protect her.
This is a well written action packed, easy to read, slow burn story, with family, friendships, emotions, loyalty, tension, secrets, survival, danger, suspense, intrigue, challenges, forced proximity, trust, romance, kidnapping, and love, which leads to an entertaining, twisted, unpredictable, and thrilling page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Grace has had a crush on Callum since they were young. She married the wrong man and now she’s on the run.
Callum thought she was dead and when he finds out she’s in trouble he doesn’t hesitate to jump in.

DNF at 50%, characters didn’t pull me in, wasn’t emotionally drawn to the storyline. Maybe it’s me and I’ll try to finish at another time, review will be updated if so.

Cristin Harber’s Titan series is the reason I love the romantic suspense/military romance genre, so I have very high expectations for her books. This one fell in the middle…it didn’t hit as well as the Titan series, but better than several of her more recent releases.

Hide and Seek is book one in the new Titan Protectors spin-off series and follows Callum as he is tasked to protect his childhood friend, and secret love, Grace.
Callum grew up next door to the Willoughby's. He and Hayden, Grace's brother, are best friends. They went to West Point together, joined the Army together, and became Army Rangers together. He spent more time at the Willoughby's home than at his own.
Grace grew up in a loving family with an overprotective big brother, and his overprotective best friend. Being the little sister she was always tagging along with Hayden, her brother, and Callum, his best friend, even when they did not want her to. She has always had a crush on Callum, but knew he did not feel the same way.
After separating from the Army, Callum now works for Titan Protectors, another arm of the Titan Group. When he is brought in to the office for his next assignment, he is shocked to see who and what it is. He never expected to see this person again.
Grace has been in hiding for years. But when her past comes back at her she has no choice but to run. She is rattled and thoroughly scared out of her mind when she calls her brother. Since he is still in the Army, she is forced to leave a message. She never expects to be found easily, nor to see the one person who finds her.
Grace is a shell of herself when Callum finds her. She is unable to look him in the eye. She plays with her beaded bracelets when she is stressed or anxious. She trusts no one except the few people that have helped her over the years.
Over the next couple of days, Grace and Callum reconnect. He is angry that he was kept in the dark about what has happened to her and why she went to the extremes that she went to. But since he is not willing to share why he is no longer in the Army, he relents. This allows them to start rebuilding trust.
But when unexpected threats start coming at them, something needs to change.
Since they have been staying at her friend, Alicia's, home when the first threat occurs, Grace feels guilty for bringing danger and destruction to her friend. But a change of locations becomes absolutely necessary.
But when their new location becomes the new target of attack, something is absolutely wrong. There is a leak. But where is the leak? Callum trusts his team, but who else knew where they were?
So when a third attempt is made on Grace's life, Callum no longer trusts anyone. Including his teammates.
Enter boss man, Jared Westin.
After they speak, a team is put together, incorporating OG Titan team members into Titan Protectors.
Will they find Grace in time? Or will whoever is out to get her, succeed? And why do they want her? And how does her ex-husband figure in to this? So many questions.
For a book one in a series, this book was amazing. I have always loved the original Titan men, so it was great to see Jared, Rocco, Roman and Parker crossover into this book. In addition, we have the mention that Delta is there, so that means Brock and his team have also crossed over.
Hearing boss man relive his story about when someone tried to take Sugar from him brought back so many memories of Westin's Chase. I loved that he was absolutely honest about how he took revenge on the person behind the threat when telling Callum the story. It gave Callum a new appreciation for the man and for his understanding of what he was going through.
I still have so many questions that I hope will be answered over the course of this series.

Callum refused to comply with an unlawful order and lost his career. He's all about truths and being open and now he has to face the lie that his best friend has perpetrated for years - Grace, his best friends little sister, is still alive and on the run from her abusive ex.
Callum has been called up by Titan Protectors to find Grace and keep her safe. When he finally catches up to Grace she is living on her nerves, with one friend to protect her. That will not do and Callum's over-protective streak goes into overdrive. But Grace thinks she's done a pretty good job of staying under the radar and she is reluctant to drag anyone else in her mess.
Grace has become hypervigilant, untrusting and independent. Gone is the bubbly girl she was before. But it would seem that even being dead isn't going to save her from her toxic ex-husband. Now she has to find a way to stay alive long enough to make sure he faces justice - again. But all of hidden identities seem to be for nought because he keeps tracking them!
It takes a while for the trust to rebuild between these two, which was lovely to see. The trust Grace once afforded everyone is hard to win now and whilst she knows he can keep her body safe, she's not so sure about her heart.
I was so happy to see the cameos from Jared and co. I feel it really tied the two series together, although they can be read independently of each other. With Boss Man recounting some of his story to help ease Callum's tension at not knowing or trusting the OG Titan members and allow him to see that Titan had his back.
The chemistry flies once they collectively remove their hears from their posteriors and the story came together well. The pacing was great and it really played like a movie in my head.
Can't wait to see what happens next and I may have developed a bit of girl crush on Viv - that woman rivals Sugar in badassery!

Hide and Seek by Cristin Harber is book 1 in the Titan Protectors Series, a new spin off series from the Titan Group and can be read as a standalone. Also, you don’t need to read any of the previous Titan books first but it sure was nice to see some of those characters cross over in this book.
It is an older brother’s best friend, action, suspense, romance with an ex military MMC, Callum Hale, and a fragile on the run from her abusive ex husband FMC, Grace Willoughby.
They have always had a thing for each other, Grace longer than Cal, but there was always something holding them back from making a move or telling each other how they feel. Whether it was how the family would react or accept them being together or their doubt that the other would be interested at all.
Fast forward twelve years and Callum has been dishonourably discharged from the Army and working for Titan Protectors where his next client is none other than his best friend’s little sister, Grace. She’s been in hiding while her abusive ex has been in prison, but he is released early and he knows where she is. Now she is on the run from him, authorities and attorneys and someone wants her dead. While some think it’s a case of white knight and damsel in distress only Callum and Grace truly know how deep their feelings go.
I really enjoyed Callum and Grace’s book and the secondary characters added another level to their story where I hope and pray we get to see Alicia in a future book as the FMC.
This book is full of action and suspense and had me completely absorbed where I read 80% in one sitting and ignoring all other responsibilities! As always Cristin, a fantastic five star read with just the right amount of spice.

Welcome back to the Titan Universe, with Titan:Protectors. Another group of people dedicated to helping people and kicking bad guys butts.
This book we meet Callum, ex Army has returned stateside after an incident overseas has joined Titan as an operative. No family, his friends all overseas or have left him, he is lost and trying to keep it all going.
Little did he know a blast from his past was about to come into his life to flip it upside down.
Grace, and old family friend, in fact she is his best friends little sister, and she is in trouble. She has been in hiding ever since she left her ex husband, in fact Callum assumed her dead many years ago.
Her husband has been let out of jail and he has found out she’s alive and is after her. A call from her brother has Callum going looking for her to bring her back home.
From the beginning we are drawn into a fast paced high energy story. Callum has to first get over the fact that she’s alive, then he has to compartmentalise his feelings for her to help protect her from her ex husband.
We’re drawn into a story of danger and intrigue that has us jumping at several parts of the books as only Titan can. And of course we eventually run into many of the old Titan boys as they come in to help Callum.
I loved the dynamic of Grace and Callum. Their lives had split into different directions but you couldn’t help but see their deep connection once brought back together.
Unfortunately circumstances lead to Callum not knowing who to trust, including the team at Titan who have been helping him look after Grace. With no one can trust how on earth can he and Grace survive these next steps?
Loved being back w Cristin and in the Titan world.
Loved Callum and he fits in so well but I giggled a bit when I heard some of the boys come in, who I’d recognised from the OG Titan Group.

In this first book of the Titan Protectors series, Callum Hale is a former Army Ranger and the best friend of Grace Willoughby’s brother. He is assigned to protect her from her abusive ex-husband who is obsessed with her. This is the stage set for one exciting suspenseful adventure.
Grace is an extremely traumatised woman who has escaped her ex-husband but is constantly aware of the need to be vigilant. Enter Callum, who’s had his own share of issues. He is ready to protect her with his life. Grace has always had a crush on him and trusts him implicitly.
When the situation for Grace changes that's when the action and drama really heat up. Talk about excitement plus! Along with the intense action and suspense-filled scenes is the romance between Grace and Callum. Their chemistry sizzled when they were teens, and now the fire is fully ignited.
This is a new author for me and I will definitely be devouring more of her books.

I’ve been a Cristin Harber fan for years and am so glad to see her back to writing and giving us more romantic suspense books in her Titan world. Hide and Seek is the first one in an all-new Titan spin-off series, Titan Protectors. This story is a truly stand-alone title, so you don’t need to read the original series to read this one. She does a good job of explaining who the crossover characters are without an information dump. However, I do highly recommend her previous books if you’re looking for a great romantic suspense binge.
Callum and Grace’s story is a brother’s best friend, friends-to-lovers story…with a twist. It’s pretty non-stop action once you are past the prologue, with high suspense. There were times I couldn’t put it down and a few where I wasn’t upset when life (or sleep) demanded my time. Overall, the pace was consistent with a well-written romantic suspense, with a bit of a twist at the end that I didn’t quite see until it was revealed. While I didn’t devour it in one sitting, I was eager to find out who the true villain was and how the story would wrap up.
If you’re looking for a romantic suspense book that can keep your attention and is full of action, look no further than Hide and Seek. I’m more than ready to read the next book in the series!

A new Titan spinoff series? YES PLEASE!
Hide and Seek is book one is Harber’s new Titans Protectors series and I’m here for it! Callum and Grace have known each other all of their lives. He’s the boy that grew up next door and her brother’s best friend.
Callum is still new to the Titan world and his newest assignment has come as a favor from his best friend. What he didn’t expect is the assignment to be protecting the woman he always wanted, but was always off limits because she’s his best friend’s little sister. Oh, and the fact that she’s supposed to be dead.
Man, oh man! This book has everything I love in a Cristin Harber story. Alpha hero, strong heroine, action packed, twists and turns I didn’t see coming, and blasts from the past like Boss Man himself, Jared Westin. As well as a few others from the OG Titans. I loved every minute of this one, and was on the edge of my seat the whole time. I can’t wait for more of this series!!

Cristin Harber has been one of my go to authors for so long. Her Titan Series contributed to my love for military based romantic suspense, she’s just a fantastic author. I’m thrilled that after all these years I still love her stories and Hide And Seek is a wonderful addition. Terrific main characters, Callum and Grace have known each other their whole lives. Aggravated each other as children, crushed on each other as teens, but always kept their distance. Thankfully for us as readers, they finally get together as adults. In true Cristin Harber fashion, this book is full of excitement, romance, thrills and humor. It also gives us a glimpse, well maybe more than a glimpse, of a few of the originals…I could get used to that. Really great start to, what I believe will be, a fabulous series. Thank you, Ms. Harber, for once again sharing your vivid imagination with us.

As a longtime fan of Cristin Harber, I was really excited to start this new series—and it absolutely delivered. This book has everything I love about her stories: military romance, nonstop suspense, and characters you instantly get invested in. Callum and Grace’s story is intense, emotional, and full of danger, and I couldn’t put it down.
One of my favorite parts was seeing familiar faces from her other books pop up. Even though this is the first book in a new series, it still felt connected and rewarding as a longtime reader. The suspense kept me guessing the whole way through.
Overall, this was an exciting start to a new series, and I can’t wait to see where it goes next. If you are a fan of brother's best friend, forced proximity military romance with action and emotion, this one’s definitely worth the read.

I love this authors work and am so pleased she has brought us back to her titan world
I really enjoyed this book but it was a rollercoaster for me with the characters.
I actually wasn’t that much of a Callum fan and found him hot, cold, indifferent and obtuse for much of the book. His moods and feelings swung around more than a teenage girls……
But
He actually brought me round and I actually really liked how my opinion of him changed through the book
Grace was super strong and resilient an totally went for what she wanted, having had her life controlled so much in the past

Wow not read this author before and I have been missing out. Brilliant book! Fast paced, action, suspense and never lulled at all.

Callum and Grace have a long history, they grew up together, she the younger sister of his best friend and him the one who never noticed how she felt about him. She married an abuser and never felt safe again. After her divorce and her ex-husbands’ arrest she faked her death, Callum was unaware it was fake. He was kicked out of the Army for not following orders and is now a protector for the Titan group. He is just surviving. When he is assigned to protect Grace his world is turned on its axis. As Callum and Grace get reacquainted and try to understand their feelings danger explodes around them. As their fight to survive and risk who they can’t trust love blooms and they have to decide if they want to risk it all for want neither thought was ever possible. You will love this chemistry and a hello to some familiar past hero’s.

I have been waiting for a new Titan spinoff series for quite some time and Book 1 DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Grace Willoughby has always been considered off limits because she is his best friend's little sister but that did not keep Callum Hale from wanting to make her his. When he is assigned to protect her from her dangerous ex-husband, he is shocked to learn that she is alive and had faked her own death five years prior. Long forgotten feelings resurface for them both, but Callum must put aside his to protect the one woman he thought he had lost forever. Hide and Seek is the newest series in the world of Titan and it did not disappoint. Not only do we get a new crop of awesome bad a** heroes and heroines, we also get to see some of the people we love most in the Titan Universe. Cristin Harber does an awesome job of introducing the new crew and weaving them into the lives of the OGs. Throw in resilience, struggle, longing, heartbreak, “unrequited” love and a best friend’s younger sister romance and I was hooked from beginning to end. And we can’t forget about the action and suspense. This book had it all! Can’t wait for the rest of the books in this series.

Cristin Harbin is one of my favorite authors as she writes wonderful stories about alpha men who love their woman with such passion. Anything she writes I definitely want to read and Hide and Seek does not disappoint. Callum and Grace are likable from the start. It has been a long road to admit their feelings but until they figure out exactly who the bad guys are the happy ever after is going to have to wait.
This story is so very well written, has a great plot and is easy to read. The reader connects with the hero and heroine right away and the secondary characters add so much to the story. There are several bad guys who are really bad and that causes a bit of nail-biting. Over all a lovely romance with a lot of sexy thrown in. I highly recommend this addition to the Titan Series!

This is Book 1 of the Titan Protectors series. And a FANrastic start it is! Look forward to more from this world.

Wow! Cristin has returned with an excellent start to a new series. This story is about Callum and Grace. Their meeting each other again was very interesting - she maced him. From that moment on, they were together. It was so nice to see Jared and Parker appear as well as the other guys. His boss is a very interesting character. She could give Bossman a run for his money. Glad we got to see Callum in his new position with Titan. FANTASTIC job Cristin! I would highly recommend this book!

Goodness me had these two been through some things, I liked how they had survive the best way they could, that their past impacted them on a number of levels and that even with doubts, fears and danger, they found their way back to each other. I also liked the support they had throughout, the good friends and family in this and that they were brave enough to take that chance that they had always wanted. My interest was held throughout and I tried to work out what was happening, why and as I tried to guess what would happen next and how it would all work out.

Callum is angry after being discharged from the military for disobeying an order which went against his ethics. Just goes to show what kind of person he is. Grace has been hiding from her ex-husband for years. She is extremely skilled at it, showing what strength of character she has after such a bad marriage. When Callum goes to protect her, their feelings from their younger days come back and they start trusting that maybe they can have a future. This is such a great book, detailing her ex-husband's dealings, how he works, which is quite scary. Then there's the good stuff, which is Callum's company, her family and friends.
