The book achieves so much
Cats get bullied in the street alley and so do kids. What a wonderful use of the similarity to foster strength, kindness and a sense of empowerment in children. The book provides kids an alternative script to statements made by bullies with the intention to shame and hurt the victim. As an adult imagining myself in a child's shoes, I felt so much better and consoled by the end of the book. The cats are real characters - pets of the author actually. As a part of a series, it speaks for other books as well. It's almost guaranteed that the
parent will read the book and enjoy it before passing it on.

Enchanting, Unique Series
Two cats are having a relaxing conversation about the difficult topic of one being bullied in this relatable children's tale. The message is helpful, builds perspective, and is comforting, though I think kids' books need a lot fewer buzzwords like 'secret' and 'power'. Illustrations paint the picture of the event, full of warmth and expression. I had a feeling after I read the first one that this series would grow on me, and I was not wrong, as I snapped up this one as soon as I saw it was available. Even adults can reflect upon the lessons here.
