The purpose of this book is to present a clear, math- and logic-based argument for why Bitcoin is on the path to $1 million. Inside, you’ll find the data and reasoning that will not only strengthen your own conviction but also give you the tools to confidently explain Bitcoin’s trajectory to others.
We examine all the major asset classes - stocks, bonds, gold, and real estate - and show why Bitcoin will outperform them. You’ll see Bitcoin’s relationship to other assets laid out with mathematical precision, while also gaining insight into the psychology of holding through volatility. Practical tools like the Kelly Criterion are introduced to help you automatically manage allocation and risk.
Finally, we look ahead-10 years, 20 years into the future - and What does the world look like when Bitcoin reaches $1 million? What’s the path that gets us there? And how probable is that outcome given the trends already in motion?
As someone who is generally a Bitcoin maxi, I enjoyed this book quite a lot. It was engaging and it’s written in a very accessible way. Even the more technical chapters involving math were interesting and still approachable for anyone with some technical ability.
What I found most interesting was the way it compares traditional assets: gold, equities, real estate, and fiat itself, from the perspective of a Bitcoin holder.
That said, there were moments where some arguments felt exaggerated or less than fully genuine. The weakest parts were the more repetitive sections that kept returning to the same "Bitcoin wins" conclusion without adding much nuance. Yes, Bitcoin is a cult.
If you're interested in Bitcoin, macroeconomics, or how Bitcoin supporters interpret the wider financial system, this book offers plenty to think about.
The math in this book is compelling even as some of the future predictions are highly dispiriting (ex: the predicted AI takeover of society and what this will mean for humans and our sense of purpose/meaning in the world). I would have preferred to ding this book another 1/4 to 1/3 of a star due to the repetitive nature of the AI editing (ie. reading the same paragraph a page after the first, only slightly rewritten). All in all though I found this book to cover all the bases as to why bitcoin will to to $1 million per coin and beyond, and why everyone (and especially the wealthy) will be accumulating as much as they can get their hands on.
“This is an outstanding book that belongs in every Bitcoiner's library. Good stuff on the power law, comparisons with other assets, treasury cos, stable coins, kelly criterion, etc. Ben's Quantum risk chapter alone justifies purchase. Some excerpts below. Nice job Fred and Ben.” - Lawrence Lepard on X
Fred and Ben lay it all out very clearly and with a comprehensive perspective. I heartily concur with their general views and outlook around the inevitability of Bitcoin as the world’s first scientifically precise standard for money and the first truly neutral, open, and ethical monetary system.
Wow. Summarizes all the most relevant topics surrounding Bitcoin into 1 book. Krueger invites everyone to understand how we can develop real conviction. I’ll see you at 10 million my fellow plebs
Great book if you've had a decent mathematics education and you are even a nascent believer. This book will strengthen your conviction. If you are new to BTC and monetary structures, then I would suggest you read: . "Brocken Money" by Lyn Alden or . "The Bitcoin Standard" by Saifedean Ammous
This is a great book that explores the future of money and explains how Bitcoin could become the future of finance. It shows how Bitcoin follows the power law and compares it to other assets. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about Bitcoin.
Concise and refreshing, well worth reading; especially enjoyed the last few chapters about the future prospects of the technology. Add this to the must reads!
