Tech millionaire Dominic D’Souza is blindsided when his wife of twenty-four years, Mona, admits she's miserable in their marriage and wants a break. Suddenly, all he can see on the screen are the ways he's let her down. Determined to reboot their love story, Dom dons a new avatar, hoping Mona will give him one last chance.
After eight months of travelling alone, Mona returns home, knowing what she wants from her workaholic husband. To her surprise, Dom is five steps ahead with a fantasy date night and fresh promises for their life together.
Her wanton flesh is willing, but can she risk her heart again?
Tara Pammi can't remember a moment when she wasn't lost in a book, especially a romance which, for a teenager, was much more exciting than mathematics textbook. Before long, she was hiding romance novels within bigger textbooks, smuggling them into the home through her unsuspecting younger cousin’s school bag, and cycling more than a few miles to her favorite library to borrow more.
Through numerous ‘true’ loves :-) and traveling thousands of miles from family and friends, her attachment to books and especially romance novels stayed constant.
One fine day, toiling away as a grad student in a basement lab, Tara started typing the beginning of a story instead of her thesis. But it wasn’t until years later, encouraged by her real life hero, Tara realized what she truly wanted to do was to write.
Tara lives in Texas with her real life hero and her two little girls. When she isn't writing or reading, Tara can be found failing in the kitchen, watching TV or making resolutions to exercise more, or even a little.
When I initially read this I inhaled it and thought “ok good spice” “time to inhale next book”
Coming back to spicy books,
THIS AUTHOR CAN WRITE. I’m blown away. My brain is very happy.
There is a genuinely wonderful mix of plot and spice and it’s a shorter read so for me it was an easy and pleasure read. I loved this one so much. There are three books in the series and they are standalone it seems. I’m reading the second book now and YES
Return to Love is a fast moving novella that takes place over a few days. It’s a second chance romance between a married couple apart for eight months. Steamy with lots of fantasies played out it took me a little out of my comfort zone but kept me turning the pages.
This is Dominic and Mona’s story and I wished it had gone on a little longer. They have two college age kids that were absent from the story. At Christmas! While acknowledging they needed alone time to reconnect and see if their marriage survived the distance it might have been best not to set the story at Christmas. Ms. Pammi is a new to me author and I will give some of her other books a try.

Return to Love is a short, spicy read about Dominic and Mona D’Souza. Dom is a nerdy workaholic and Mona decides she needs a break after 24 years because her marriage has lost its spark. After 8 months, they have a Christmas Eve date. This is just the spark they both needed to get their marriage back on track. This was a quick read with just the right level of heat.
Dom and Mona rekindled - He did what he had to do to bring his wife back into his arms. Not that he was complaining. A steamy novella that will cloud your glasses for sure.

This is the first book I've read by Tara Pammi. I listened to this audiobook for free from the Read Me Romance podcast. This was a short and steamy novella but nothing special. I love reading marriage in trouble romances but honestly I was a bit underwhelmed with this one. 2.5 stars.
