Rainy Day Miracle: A Remarkable Story of Healing and Faith

Rate this book
What starts as an ordinary day for Jill and Matt Cheatham ends in chaos, devastation, and uncertainty.

It began on a terrible, storming afternoon when Matt Cheatham miraculously called 911 on his own after a tree limb crashed through his windshield, impaling his chest.

What happens next is a whirlwind thirty-eight days in an intensive care unit as Matt fights for his life while his wife, Jill, fights to hold the family together.

This is the incredible, true story of family unity, and turning to a close relationship with God for the strength to face devastating circumstances. Jill called on their friends and family – their prayer warriors – to uplift Matt and pray for his recovery. The support of such a community, and the strength lent by her grown children – Ryan and Nicole – made each day a surmountable obstacle.

Above all, the Cheathams leaned on their trust that He can make all healing possible. With a new strengthened sense of purpose, Matt and Jill share their remarkable story.

Sat down and read it all at once. Such a moving and powerful book I just couldn’t put it down. If you are looking for a book that hooks you in the beginning and is a happy ending I would recommend this book.

This was an amazing read. I am learning that humans cannot accomplish things on their own. Prayer is powerful and God is good. God just accomplishes things on his own time.

Thank you for sharing your family's story. Your journey was not easy but with help you pulled through.
