She was born on St. Patrick’s Day. They called her Lucky. But nothing about her life was left to chance. Clover Reed—known to her followers as Lucky—is a rising star in the world of fashion, social media, and Texas college culture. With a signature style, a loyal fanbase called the Lucky Charms, and a voice that resonates with girls everywhere, Lucky is the definition of an “it girl.” But behind the curated posts and viral moments lies a story of heartbreak, betrayal, and survival. From the football fields of College Station to the private jets of Chicago and Miami, Lucky’s journey is one of love and loss, fame and fear. When she falls for 713 Spinna, a Houston rapper with charm and secrets, her world begins to unravel. What starts as a dream romance quickly spirals into a nightmare of manipulation, isolation, and abuse. Told in Lucky’s own voice—raw, witty, and unfiltered—Lucky Girl is a gripping, emotionally charged story of reclaiming power, finding healing, and speaking truth in a world that often silences women. It’s a love letter to the girls who’ve been hurt, the girls who’ve been doubted, and the girls who refuse to be anything but themselves. For the girls. Ball up top.
Wow! Just wow! I got this recommended by a book friend and I enjoyed every moment of this book. It’s a true testament of watch who you let close to you and sometimes what’s shiny and new isn’t what’s best for you.
This was such an amazing story. I didn’t know what to expect, but I honestly fell for Lucky as an FMC. She was so young and just trying to do her best, happy about her influencer status, dating, running game, and truly just being herself. This was a real lesson in being careful what you wish for and who you let into your life. Listen to those who are older and wiser. I’m honestly speechless, writing this with tears in my eyes..
Non stop tears flowing at the end. This book was so well written. I felt it would end they way it did , I really hoped it didn't. I am so sad and I pray that this story will reach more girls and women. Lucky is a lot of girls and women. Long live the Lucky Charms
This book was very touching and was a good eye opener! This is a great story about how everything that glitters is not gold. The grass is not always greener. The ending was very sad and unexpected!
