At War With The Gods

Rate this book
At War With The Gods plunges readers into a world where Olympus no longer reigns untouchable.

The gods have ruled for centuries with absolute power, their dominion enforced through fear, manipulation, and blood. But two mortals—Echo, a warrior bound to cursed blades, and Theia, a young woman with powers she doesn’t fully understand—dare to rise against them.

Driven by vengeance and haunted by secrets, Echo wages war with chains of molten fire, while Theia wrestles with the truth of her origins. Together, they forge an alliance against Athena, goddess of war, and the might of Olympus itself.

Statues come to life, monsters are torn from the void, and temples crumble as mortals clash with immortals in a battle that shakes the foundations of heaven and earth. Yet victory comes at a price. Every secret unearthed, every god struck down, brings them closer to the truth—a truth that could either free humanity or destroy it forever.

With sharp contrasts of beauty and brutality, At War With The Gods is a sweeping tale of rebellion, sacrifice, and the unbreakable will of mortals who dare to defy destiny. Perfect for fans of Percy Jackson, God of War, and The Song of Achilles, this mythic fantasy will leave readers questioning where true power lies—within the hands of gods, or within the hearts of those who dare to challenge them.

I have discovered a huge pet peeve… if your going to name characters be original, and I mean don’t name them so similar to another character that it comes off as you couldn’t think of anything else. Theia, Theo come on. Where was the character development? Theo goes from this desperate broken man on a mission to save his family, very serious, to making jokes and being sarcastic?! And the timing and flow of events needed major work. How long was she captured by echo? Why did they want her why was Theia important so many things left unexplained. The idea of the story wasn’t bad. But the numerous holes and missing information on top of OVER DESCRIPTIVE events, scene were described and then the next chapter re-described it was annoying and made me want to DNF.
