Staff Sergeant Cole Blackwell thought Okinawa would be a routine deployment until the sky tore open and unleashed nightmares from Japan’s darkest myths. Now he’s part of Demon
A secret task force of soldiers and half-yokai operatives fighting the monsters crawling through the rift and the corruption seeping into their own ranks.
Cole’s blood carries something the others yokai energy, volatile and barely under control. His team—the deadly succubus who leads with fire and secrets, the cool-headed scientist with horns of her own, and a Kitsune whose touch can heal or burn—are the only thing standing between him and the darkness clawing at his soul.
But the deeper they fight into the rift’s chaos, the more Cole learns that the real enemy isn’t just invading from the other side.
It’s what the military did decades ago—and what’s been festering inside him ever since.
Explosive battles, forbidden chemistry, and mythic monsters collide in Devil Demon Corps—a military harem fantasy where loyalty is tested, hearts are weaponized, and survival means taming the darkness within.
After working on Marvel and other games and traveling the world, Jamie Hawke decided to settle down and write fun, quirky, and sexy pulp science fiction and superhero books.
You'll find his harem gamelit books in Kindle Unlimited and Audio, and might want to start with Supers: Ex Heroes 1. The book reached #47 in the Amazon store, including #1 Bestseller in multiple categories (to include Superhero, Cyberpunk, and Colonization).
It all started when Jamie was eleven, creating nude superhero comics with his best friend. What perverts! But hey, they were fun and provided good fodder for jokes up into their adult years. Now the stories have evolved, but they capture that same level of fun. Hopefully you will enjoy them as much as the author loved writing them!
Jamie also spent five years in Marine Corps intelligence, studied Muay Thai in Thailand, and lived in Japan for over three years. A lot of this plays into Jamie's books.

AUTHOR NOTE: I also write under another name, but kept them separate because those books are more clean (no explicit adult content). If you'd like to read them, I recommend the following:
SHADOW CORPS (Space Fantasy with Leveling and Skill Trees, Books 1-3, also in Audio)
I DNF this book after page 106. The quality of the writing and plot were poor.
In page 4, a fellow soldier calls him "Staff Sergeant". Two pages later on page 6, he identifies himself to a doctor as "Corporeal". Then on page 91, he's back to referring to himself as a sergeant.
On page 21, the MC is told this doctor drives a silver Lexus, which he finds her next to, right where he was told. Then on page 34, the same doctor announces she doesn't have a car so they need to find someone else that does.
He misspelled character names. He called the pectoral muscle a "peck". He miss identifies which character is speaking. He uses the wrong verb tense.
This author used to be one of the big names in the genre, but it really feels like they are just putting out a low effort book every X months to stay relevant.
This was a really faced paced booked and I loved that about it. The main characters are great and really easy to like. I do think there could be more adult situations and intamacy to really spice up the book to that next level. Being a Marine I do appreciate the care the author goes into to get things right about the Marine Corps. This is a real sore spot for Marines when they don't get things right about us, like referring to us as soldiers instead of Marines. All in all it's a really enjoyable book and I can't wait for the next one.
The premise is solid, hinting at jjk and garo type plot with some of the darker aspects of military stories yet at times it felt odd, like it wasn't sure what genre it was meant to be. Hopefully this clears up in the next few books and we don't get teased about the monster lurking beneath all book again
