When the Empire fractures, one man’s choices will decide whether it stands or falls.
Hazard King has returned from the dead, but survival comes with consequences. To hold Britannia together, he must outwit traitors, rally wavering allies, and face enemies who know his every weakness.
From the streets of Cork to the command decks of warships, loyalty and betrayal collide. Every choice Hazard makes could save the Empire—or doom it forever.
The fate of Britannia will be decided. But every decision has a price.
When Fred Hughes killed off Hazzard I stopped reading the series. The Heroes series was 4 books in before I decided to check them out. I am very glad I did! Hazzard is back and the author did a fantastic job of doing it as well. Now I am bitting a big bullet waiting on book 6 after reading book 5.
The author's narrative prowess captivates readers with such magnetic storytelling that one becomes completely immersed, unable to set the book down until the final page is turned. Once concluded, an insatiable anticipation builds for the next installment, leaving readers yearning for the continuation of this compelling saga.
As Hazard finally returns to Britannia, he needs to resolve the rebellious issues with the Fleet in the Crux System. But his return home is anything but joyous. There is an rebellion lurking in the shadows of the Empire of Britannia, Go and grab yourself a copy of this book, fully recommended.
Among my favorite authors, he has consistently delivered quality high action stories with realistic characters and evolving plot lines. Never disappoints.
Another great Hazard King book. Continuation of the Britannia series. All of the Fred Hughes’ books are great, and very easy to read. They seem to come out fairly quickly, so that’s great too.
