“Under the Same Sky”, written by Leila Kirkconnell, is a heartfelt, achingly beautiful testament to the human spirit. Set in war-torn Gaza, the richly-developed characters take the reader on an unforgettable journey through past and present events, as well as on a deeply moving journey of the human heart. Hope, resilience and love prevail, despite the enormous atrocities faced. Kirkconnell has accomplished writing an important, and lasting, novel that readers will not forget.
