I usually don’t read in my first language which is French and fantasy books are not my preferred choice. But knowing this author, I wanted to give it a chance.
I was really surprised how involved I got in the plot! It’s a cross between hunger games, a bit of Game of thrones and a splash of humour. I connected with the characters and was quickly rooting for my chosen champion.
This is the first of the series and am looking forward in pursuing the books to come!
