They Rescued Me From a Cage. Now They'll Kill Each Other to Keep Me.
My heat is satisfied. My pack is mine to choose. But in Blackvale Falls, happiness never lasts.
The men who once imprisoned me are now the only ones I trust. But when they turn on each other—bleeding and snarling over who gets to protect me—I realize the real threat isn’t inside our den. It’s the woman I’ve been running from for years.
My mother found me. She didn’t come to reconcile—she came to steal my inheritance and sell me to the highest bidder. And someone’s been watching us all along, waiting to strike.
The conspiracy runs deeper than I imagined, with roots tangled in my bloodline. Now I’m pregnant with my alphas’ child, fighting not just for my life, but for the secrets none of us even know exist.
If I stay, my pack dies. If I run, I lose everything.
But I’m not just fighting for freedom anymore— I’m fighting for the family I never thought I’d have. And I’ll burn anyone who tries to take them from me.
Then someone walks through my door who shouldn’t exist… and everything I thought I knew shatters.
Author's Blackvale Falls Book 2 the conclusion of Cassie's story from Book 1 Omega Knotted By Rival Packs. A dark, high-heat Omegaverse romance with obsession, betrayal, and a love that refuses to surrender. MF/M/M/M No Swords Cross.
This world is strange as in all of the pack (no matter how many people are in it) expect to share the omega that their alpha bites. The omega has no say in who they want.
The one guy inherited his pack from his father, meaning all the guys in it who were around at the time his mom was alive had been with his mom. Now those guys and the younger guys all expect to share the son’s mate as well. Uh… Nope. Also, how can his friend and pack mate have a different mom if all packs share one omega? Can you imagine having your mom still around? Would everyone then be going for both omegas? This was never outright explained and is very confusing.
At the end there are three alphas and one beta, Marcus. Poor Marcus. He is a neglected afterthought. Cassie is all lovey dovey with all the alphas and wanting them, etc. but says nothing about him, doesn’t think about him, etc. He’s tossed in one group scene, but we never get to see any kind of intimacy between just Cassie and Marcus. He deserves better. Why include him at all? It doesn’t feel like he’s wanted there at all. Just to stitch people up.
Conclusion of Omaga Knotted by Rival Packs In the conclusion of the Blackvale Falls Omega Duet, readers discover who is behind the threats and danger to Cassie and her three alphas. Cassie’s three alphas keep her secluded and build her a nest to make her feel safe, loved, and protected. They show her that they are willing to die to protect her from a vicious pack. In turn, Cassie is willing to surrender herself to the intruder pack in order to save her three alphas from harm.
The situation is very intense and demonstrates the love each have for the other. For an Omega who refused to be claimed by an alpha, Cassie finds that she wants not one but all three of her alphas to knot her and claim her.
If you are an Omegaverse fan, you will find this duet fulfills all of your fantasies. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This is the follow up to Omega Knotted By Rival Packs and you really need to read that book before this one.
The story was so good. Plot was intriguing and exciting and well paced and delicious. World building continues to impress and the characters drive the stories. They were compelling and complex and well matched. I highly recommend both books and look forward to more from Ilaria Graves.

What? So this book picks up where the other one left off. There's some action since Cassie and her mates are taken, but all for a necklace? The beta from one of the packs was in one spicy scene, but nowhere was it hinted that Cassie and he would have any type of relationship other than doctor-patient. So is he part of the harem? So confused. The ending was just out of nowhere. Cassie's dad reappears like nothing and in love with Cassie's roommate. Nope. I should have DNF'd this series.

SPOILERS: The first book was a goodish read and the second book had so much potential. This book was poorly written, has lots of plot holes and left me with lots of questions. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone unless it gets rewritten. The brick wall man was glanced over? Her getting saved and ending up at the farm seemed like I was missing chapters. No explanation of Damian’s ruts, Marcus was added as an after thought.
This is the second book for Cassie so do read book 1 which is omega knotted by rival packs. I like that the world is different here then the normal omegaverse as the lead alpha is the one to claim and the others have no say but to share whoever he picks. I like the writing and really enjoyed the story. Cassie fights for her alpuas, and they are devoted to her too.
Hmmm 🤔🤔🤔 Ok Cassie's story was crazy, 3 alphas with 3 packs, all of them wanting to claim the omega. Their journey is a bit unhinged with lots spice and some tough realization. I liked it.
This was a really good Omegaverse. It had the intrigue, the loving, and the bad mom to go along with it but the ending was just fantastic! Way to go Ilaria Graves!!
Went into this blind and I was not prepared for what I was getting myself into! Overall I enjoyed the book. Cassie is constantly moving trying to stay hidden from her mother. When she moves to a new town she ends up kidnapped by a group of guys. A lot of this book takes place with her in heat, and the guys taking care of her. It did leave me wanting more and ready for the 2nd book.
To pair with my review on the first book, this omega verse is definitely still different than your standard. There isn’t a note about this omega verse, which I think would be greatly beneficial to future readers.
The book is okay overall & is a quick read. I wouldn’t recommend this to a friend, so do with that what you will.
I don’t understand why Marcus was added. There was no relationship started in the first book & this book he wasn’t really brought in until the end - so no emotional connection. She also doesn’t refer to him as August’s dad - if he’s apart of the pack, he would be another dad. Earnest is my favorite, although there isn’t really an emotional connection with the characters.
