This book was originally two books that were rewritten to be this one story. I just looked at my review of the first on the original books and saw I had noted that I wished it was all one story. Well here it is. I got what I wanted. I enjoyed the main characters and their friendship. It was wonderful to see two people work so well to help each other out. I may have been as frustrated with Autumn as was Chase when he finally just had to express his deeper feelings. Autumn definitely got a hold of some bad advice that was backed up by her life experience. But we get a happily-ever-after so it is all good. The children were sweet and I can see their blended family having a lifetime of goodness together.
Autumn Do You Know is a journey through loss, grief, healing, friendship, family and second chance love. I love the found family Autumn, her kids, Chase and his nephew made. Autumn and Chase bond through single parenthood and sharing child care. As they help each other, they grow close but Autumn is unsure if she can let go of her fear. She had vowed not to date again until her children were adults. This well written book is a sweet, clean romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. I was sorry to get to the end.
Neither saw what was coming A sweet story of handling the curves life throws at you. Autumn, a young mother of two, saw her world turned upside down when an accident took her husband. Now three months later she is facing the depression from that day, when she discovers that Chase, a coworker, is moving into the townhouse next to her. Chase, a bachelor, had his world changed when he suddenly became guardian of his young nephew. Now they are supporting each other through the trials of single parenthood while spending time together with children. Soon their relationship begins to deepen but Autumn struggles with her fears. Can anything grow where fear holds control? I received an early copy and this is my honest review.
I really enjoyed Autumn and Chase in this wonderful story about love and losses and trying to move on. I loved the children and the ability of the main characters to co-parent so easily. This is a sweet, clean romance.
Disclaimer--I'm biased because I'm the author. This story has more of me in it than anything I've ever written. I hope you enjoy Autumn and Chases's happily ever after.
I loved this sweet story. Autumn is healing after the death of her husband. She has two littles who she is trying to help heal themselves and thrive, even though her world has been turned upside down. My heart ached for them all but I loved watching Autumn keep realizing that she can't allow her mourning and heartache to stop her from loving her children.
Enter Chase, a co-worker and now her neighbor. He has a nephew he's trying to help raise and care for. They make a great team and as they work together to care for these sweet littles, they find their hearts being drawn to each other. Oh, they are the sweetest!!! I loved watching them starting to love the other and trying to process in their hearts and minds how they could make it work. Sweet story!!! And the littles will have your heart melting! They were truly adorable and so sweet!!!
Content: Clean. Talk and thoughts of the death of a loved one.

After a devastating loss, Autumn discovers hope and healing in unexpected places. Having to keep putting one foot in front of the other, Autumn manages to get through each day, one step at a time. That is, until it is her birthday and all her pain comes crashing down on her. The arrival of Chase Worthington on her doorstep with his nephew in tow opens a new door for her and her two children. Chase is surprised at how easily he and Jaxon fit together with Autumn and her two Littlies. As a relationship grows between them that goes beyond friendship, Autumn puts the brakes on with all her old insecurities coming to the fore. It takes the wise intervention of a Christmas fairy to show both Autumn and Chase to go after what they all need most. The novel comes to a sweet conclusion, putting a happy smile on the faces of the children and their parents. I received a copy of this book as a gift, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
“Autumn do you Know” Huckleberry Falls Romance by Donna K. Weaver Loss and Life This is a sweet story about love, loss, recovery, respect, family, and yes, romance, too. I loved my time in this story. So much so, I had absolutely no trouble staying in this story and letting the rest of my world do without my attention. Yes, there were chuckles, and fun, and tears, too. I wish I had someone to chat with about this story and what makes it special to me, and, learn what they felt, too!. Happy Reading ! !
I had an ARC for this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Autumn Donnelly’s husband died leaving her with two young children to raise, and her co-worker Chase Worthington is raising his nephew. They live in the same apartment complex, and watch each other’s children. Another co-worker convinces them both to join a dating site. Eventually Autumn falls for Chase, but doesn’t want to marry until her children are grown. This book is a great addition to the series, and features working through some tough situations. Interesting story.
I liked how Chase came alongside Autumn and helped with her children in the wake of her husband's death. Their friendship developed around shared trauma and childcare and work. Honestly, I became pretty irritated with Autumn and her "reason" for keeping Chase in the friend zone. But I'm so glad she finally came around! Nice story that kept me reading.
