Unbound is book two in the A Curse of Blood duet. The books need to be read in order.
Luca and Rosa continue to shine in this book. Their bond, their love, and their unwavering loyalty to each other is swoon worthy. They battle inside and outside forces, mysterious magic, and fight to uncover centuries old secrets.
Huge shout out to Donatella and Matteo who are great secondary characters that deserve their own book.

Unbound picks up right where A Curse of Blood left us, and Rosa and Luca’s story only gets darker, messier and so much more complicated.
Rosa has spent her entire life believing vampires are monsters that need to be hunted, so falling for Luca was never going to be simple. Now she is surrounded by vampires, Mafia families, witches, shapeshifters and supernatural politics, while also trying to understand this bond between her and Luca. I really liked that she questioned everything. She wants Luca, but she also needs to know that what she feels is actually hers and not something being forced on her by fate or magic.
Luca is exactly the kind of morally grey, completely obsessed with MMC I expect from Sadie Kincaid. He never wanted the crown or the responsibility that comes with ruling, but once Rosa becomes his weakness, there is nothing he will not do to protect her. Alliances, enemies, rules, none of it matters if she is threatened. His whole attitude is basically that the world can burn as long as Rosa survives, and I was absolutely here for it.
Their relationship is still full of tension because neither of them really knows where fate ends and choice begins. Rosa refuses to simply accept that she belongs to Luca because some ancient bond says so, while Luca is completely certain she is his queen. That push and pull between them made their relationship even more addictive.
There is also so much happening outside the romance. The supernatural world gets bigger, the politics become more dangerous, alliances start shifting and the threat of war feels much closer. Luca is being forced to become the king everyone fears, while Rosa is slowly realising that the monsters she was raised to hate might not be the real enemy.
Unbound is dark, violent, spicy and packed with possessive vampire energy, supernatural drama and two people who would quite literally go to war for each other. Luca and Rosa are still completely chaotic together, but that is exactly why I cannot stop reading their story.
And after everything that happens in this one, I definitely need the next book.

This book is full of spice, a lot more blood, plenty more mythical beings. Characters discover new powers and identities and its soooo good !!
If you love a brooding vampire , wolf shifters, witches , curses and family betrayal then this book is for you !!
This book explains a lot of Luca’s backstory which is really amazing !!
Definitely read Cursebound first as none of it will make sense !!!

I was so excited to be back with Luca and Rosa, book one rounded off quite nicely without too much of a cliffhanger but I wanted to see what comes next! I was not disappointed.
Book two comes with more conflict, more enemies and more spice 🔥 As Luca and Rosa learn to deal with their new positions as well as the aftermath if their blood spell being broken. It's a ride with so many revelations and secrets being uncovered!
Along with new challenges there's the Grand Ball Sack 😂 sorry that makes me giggle everytime, who continues to evade capture and finds new ways to cause trouble!!
I ate this up, the only thing for me was towards the end, so much was going on as things came to a head but it felt a little rushed through. I'd have really liked to have explored more details! I still had a great time though and would be interested in spin offs with some of the side characters!!

Absolutely yes! I just cant and won't ever find a Sadie Kincaid book that I do not love. The characters and stories she creates grab and take hold of you and burrow into your soul! I love it!Luca is a HOTTT vampire and boy does he love Rosa...who BTW is another bad AF FMC from Sadie. Her fierceness and loyalty to the man she loves -unmatched. And I knew their bond wasn't just a spell.. no way! Great story and side characters that may come to the pages too hopefully. Just another 5 start Sadie read!!

And just like that Luca and Rosa's story and come to an end! This has been a wild ride for sure but ended so beautifully.
