Reckoning
U.S. Marshal Jordan Reynolds thought she'd left her shadow ops past behind—until a call from The Director drags her back into the dark.
She reaches reformed money launderer Derrick Voss just minutes before the cartel strikes.
And when bullets tear through their safehouse that night, one thing becomes clear. She's his only shot at survival.
Posing as newlyweds in a quiet mountain town should be routine witness protection.
But as Jordan digs into why the cartel wants Voss dead—after years of leaving him alone—her instincts flare.
Some of the kids from his Second Chances program have quietly vanished—runaways and foster failures no one misses.
While Jordan gathers damning evidence that will never see the inside of a courtroom, she realizes the system meant to protect these children is protecting the wrong people.
Sometimes justice requires breaking the rules.
Want to know how it all began? Discover Jordan Reynolds' explosive origin story in the prequel romance, Reasonable Doubt.

What a Reckoning!
I believe this storyline, it's too real in even our modern world. I'm ready for Catherine and Jordan to continue saving our world. Intense and spellbinding, I want more.
