Claire writes crime/mystery, fantasy, and science fiction. She is a member of Sisters in Crime (& president of the Desert Sleuths Chapter), Mystery Writers of America, and the Short Mystery Fiction Society. Claire transplanted from New England to Phoenix where she writes full-time, paints, and lives on a steady diet of Zoominars for connection, inspiration, and sanity.

She hosts multiple weekly write-ins for aspiring and experienced writers and writes book reviews for Kings River Life Magazine.

Her short stories are in more than a half dozen anthologies and online magazines. Play the Hand You're Dealt, her short story collection, includes several stories that earned honors in various competitions.

Claire was lead editors for two Desert Sleuths anthologies (SoWest series) and has stories in three.
