For anyone searching for light in the darkest of times, this book is a testament that healing is possible—one stitch at a time.
Not another cheeky self-help book that has pointless advice
Ona is deep to the core of how hard it is to lose a spouse and then trying to pick up the pieces. The book gives you tips on how to manage that easier. She shows you her plan that she put togrther, the professionals she worked with. She wants to connect and work with you if you are going through hard time, trauma, etc. The book is very worth it!! I know Ona personally. I was there the morning Geoff died and the months that followed before the it the move. Her personality is confident , and no longer looking for the next bad thing to happen. She is more calnd the kids as well.
Ona is my widow bestie ❤️ We've walked through this post-death life, and then she wrote a book! This book is like sitting and having a chat with Ona, or sending a Marco. It's real and raw and can be read in bite size amounts that our post trauma brains need to absorb. Love that she offers hope, but not without first acknowledging the grief.
