Such is the brilliance of Rena. Rena has created yet another mind-blowing book with Xander in lead. Delightfully mysterious with twists for days, you'll be lead into a world full of secrets and ,what seems to be death in every corner. I have fallen in love with every crime scene solely for the small details that every clue holds.

Rooted in culture, Rena's books are an experience for everyone to enjoy and learn from, especially if you're someone who loves the hidden secrets of the biggest families in small towns. Xander as a character is layered and intriguing, and you can't help but be mesmerized by the man hiding beneath those layers and buried in secrets.

This is another great fast paced novella by Rena. It was great to dive into Xander’s mind again. I love how the culture is woven into this mysterious investigation. The plot is very interesting and not your normal thriller which makes it a good read.

This is a very quick novella read. There is an interesting investigation. I liked getting to know a little more about Xander. The cliffhanger left we ready for the next one!
