Sierra and Knox

HER ROUGH POSSESSIVE BODYGUARD is part of the multi-authored Lone Star Security series. It's a short and steamy, instalove, OTT, age-gap, opposites-attract, grumpy-sunshine, damsel-in-distress, forced-proximity, curvy virgin gets her cowboy bodyguard romance. Sierra is a 23-year-old curvy college grad who recently lost her father in the military. She ends up in danger and reaches out to Lone Star Security. Knox is a hunky, grumpy, ex-military man turned bodyguard and security. Her father saved him and he vows to protect her. These two had insane chemistry and we got a great HEA after the danger and drama resolved. I loved it.

The characters drove the storyline and they were so very appealing and likeable and complicated and perfectly steamy together. Plot was intriguing and intense and exciting and well paced. World building was excellent and solidly drawn. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend.

Lone Star Security solves another mystery. This series should be very high on your TBR list. Sierra is still grieving the death of her father when his possessions are delivered and she finds a USB drive hidden in a photo. One phone call and rescue by Know from the LSS later and their forever begins. This book is not to be missed.

Burn the world for her.
Oh, my goodness! I didn’t want this story to end. I loved the MCs; the storyline; the writing style; the supporting characters with so much potential for more books; the setting; everything! This made me feel like I was watching a show on TV that I got immersed in right from the start. Did I mention, I loved it. 😊I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review. Cowboy bodyguard and proud of it. A dual POV tale about a pair that seem to have nothing left until they find each other. They didn’t plan to meet but it was a debt that needed to be repaid. A rescue that came just in time. A chocolate milkshake with whipped cream and a cherry, what could be wrong if that is on the table. Secrets left by a father. Mysteries to unravel , but danger is just around the corner.

A still grief stricken Sierra finds a flash drive. Lucky for her she leaves her place, stopping at a neighbour’s. She hears noises and calls the number her Dad gave her. Knox arrives and gets her out safely. On their way to Valor Springs and The Ranch, they learn about each other. Trusting in their feelings. After her rescue, Knox reveals his true feelings and they make a life on The Ranch.

Light reading with slightly suspense plots.

However I couldn't pass how weird the instalove was. I usually 100% fine with instalove, but it was kinda weird in this book. The heroine was virgin and had trauma relationship from her ex, but mere hours after meeting the hero, she was easily gave her v-card to the hero. Nope, that was not love, that was lust.

I think this book would be better if it's not a novella. For me, this book has potential yet the delivery was not quite right.

Loved the book. There’s a bit of sadness and danger with a twist. The spicy is spicy. The FMC is struggling and get thrown in to danger. The MMC is called to rescue her. There’s mutual attraction. And, of course, there’s a HEA.

Lone Star Security added another great book in this collaboration series. I loved this book. Knox is the obsessed bodyguard of your dreams. Sierra and Knox have a great love story. This is a must read book in a must read series.

Her Rough, Possessive Bodyguard by Marina Wilder is part of the multi author series A Lone Star Security Romance and it was a thoroughly entertaining read.
Its an instalove forced proximity, protective hero romance with engaging main characters, Knox and Sierra that had me hooked from the start.
Knox, an older, ex military now cowboy bodyguard is called in to extract and keep safe Sierra, the daughter of a man who saved his life during his military service days.
For Knox, the attraction is instant and possessive. Sierra, still grieving the loss of her father feels the awareness of Knox which is heightened by a kiss during an escape from pursuers.
In the safety of Knox's one bed cabin the chemistry sizzles and lines are crossed despite the unresolved danger following Sierra ensuring you keep turning the pages to see how their HEA turns out.

Who do you trust

I think this is the last one in the series, though I would have liked to see Gray find his forever. Knox is a cowboy bodyguard who is sent to rescue Sierra from a break in. He is the only one she trusts. And when evil comes knocking, only Knox will save her.

I loved this book with Knox & Sierra! I didn’t want it to end. This series was a good one with 17 short stories. I’m disappointed that Gray didn’t get a story but I guess he couldn’t fall as the whole team would’ve done and they’d be no Lone Star Security 🤣
