This book is available on Kindle Unlimited at the time of review.
For a very basic beginner, this book isn't bad. It's got some good information, and some good recipes, but not as much as other books do.
There are much better books that cost about the same. There are also better books available on Kindle Unlimited that cover what this book does and much, much more.
It's a pretty basic beginner's book on soap making. It has an introduction to the main things involved in this craft, but there are things that are left out that would have made this for more than just beginners.
This is my next post dystopian life skill to learn, given how important sanitation will become post zombie apocalypse. Joking aside, it's something I've always been interested to learn and it looks like this book has really simple instructions. I need to wait until it's warm enough to do this outside before I'll know for sure how awesome it is, but it looks simple and easy to follow.
Good tips, formulas for smaller batches than I've done before, a lot of readily available and natural ingredients, used to good effect. Want to try: stamping the soap, using molds, some of the formulas, especially a couple for exfoliating soaps. Would like to get this book again, once I have a chance to try some of the ideas.
This book was super helpful for me. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is looking to find out more about soap making. There were two things that I really loved about this book. The first was that the authors included step by step color photos and the second was that the book included simple recipes to get you started.
